We were greeted warmly when we entered the restaurant and seated immediately. Our waitress, Chani, was very pleasant and professional. She kept refilling my hubby's drink without him asking. We ordered a to-go cheese quesadilla for our daughter (she didn't want to come out.) I ordered the 6oz guiltless sirloin with asparagus & a house salad (they charged almost $6 for the tiny salad!) My hubby got the mango iced tea and a 10oz sirloin with mashed potatoes & broccoli. It was all very delicious!! Gluten Free options were not offered. (Yes, I can order food without gluten here, but I really wanted a burger!) I love that they are open until midnight- helps those of us who are traveling and arriving late in the evening due to traffic! Definitely recommend Chili's in Ramsey!

Stopped by for a beer and to watch sports at the bar. I was shocked to see a steady amount of people eating in the dining area . Decor was old and run down but as expected from chilis. Suprised to see some cheap beer deals and a wing happy hour. Bartender provided good service and poured cold beer. No complaints here.

Forgot my chips, got the wrong soup than ordered, and gave me blue cheese instead of ranch. Food seems rushed.

Drinks are weak. Beer is watered down and the food is edible. Not a good value. Prices too high for the food quality.

I took the train up one day, but unfortunately I didn't revisit the town for another 17 years. My Mexican House was a random stop that turned out to be great. I've always been into tacos and in recent years gained a nearly dangerous fascination with cemitas, and a result I may have missed out on many great Mexican entrees over the years. In the chuleta a la diabla, the pork chops were perfectly done and the sauce was an awesome incendiary concoction somewhat like mole. The chips were warm and fresh, the salsa was zingy and the service was outstanding.

We immediately ordered four margaritas, which were good, just not the best ones I've ever had. For appetizers we all split the cheese empanadas, which were actually pretty amazing in my opinion. The portions were pretty generous, so all of us were able to have about 1.5 empanadas. The empanadas were served with red and green sauce, the red sauce is SPICY so be aware! For main course, I ordered the vegetarian chimichanga which I LOVED. It was so good and it tasted freshly made. Overall, was very happy with my experience here. Its not the fanciest restaurant but it was perfect for national margarita day!

But the food needs work , the chips and salsa were good , we ordered the fresh made guacamole made at the table was also good but ,Missing seasoning, lime juice and some type of chopped cilantro. I ordered the #4 steak fajitas . I was disappointed peppers were cut to thick, and needed more roasting so where the onions almost raw , it all needed more seasoning and roasting. The Mexican rice was bland , tasteless no sofrito and , missing seasoning the refried beans were ok ..My wife didn't like the taco salad it had cucumbers something you never put in a taco salad even the tomato slices were thick cut , she only liked the shell Lol.My son in-laws fried fish was good he liked it , and my sons chimichanga were also taste less compared to many others he has had elsewhere. Service was quiet but nice, nothing to complain about. You order at the counter and then take a seat. The menu consists of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, salads and more (plus a kids menu); portions aren't huge and prices range from $10-16. Tacos and burritos come in different varieties and with chips and salsa. I got the soft corn veggie tacos, which came with two. A little spicy though not super flavorful or stuffed. The mad dog burrito which is a mixture of chicken and beef was pretty good though not super hot. The quesadillas are a few dollars more expensive and come in a 10 inch tortilla so perhaps it's more filling. They also advertise family taco night food. Their leadership,…read morein some indirect fashion, has led to the craftsmanship of El Azteca - A slight chain of Mexican restaurants in a 30 min radius of Bergen County. I will copy and paste this review across the Park Ridge and Mahwah locations so emphasize my appreciate for their consistency in providing great Mexican food. If you are consistently performing, Linguini will take care of you. Like I've taken care of many others. I will bring you to the top with me. If you backstab me. Oh if you come for me at the top, you will reach an abyss so deep you may end up digging to China. Don't test me. I'm not that guy. Anyways, I've tried a lot from Azteca. Most of what they've got is a 4/4.5 out of 5 but I'm rounding up for the full experience. Phenomenal price point. Variety of food that all comes out well. Performs well in restaurant and when the food travels. Friendly staff. And local business of which I support. I suffer from GGS - Good Guy Syndrome, sorry not sorry. My motha, bless her soul. I legit mean bless her soul. Be nice. Pray. Bow down to her. She doesn't eat much food but she even loved the taco salad here so much that she asked to go again. So much protein, so well seasoned. Just as their other options showcase as well. My personal favs are the Kash Burrito and the, what I'd call "trademark" Cod Burrito. Never have seen it elsewhere like this. The wrap is toasted wonderfully, great rice, great salsa. I mean this place just does it real well. I've had tacos, appetizers, desserts. Never let down. El Azteca is consistently good. Constantly pushing out quality product. Is it the best Mexican I've had? No. But it's the most underrated. Being a consistent 4, makes you a five in my books. It's like that girl that's occasionally a 6 or occasionally an 9... you can't bring her home. But that girl that's consistently a 7 or an 8? You let her meet the fam. I don't where I'm going with this one. All I'll say is STOP. Stop going to Chipotle, Bubbakoo's, etc. when you could be supporting a better quality and friendlier priced location in El Azteca. Thank you in advance. I will be watching - LB.
