PROS: This place is amazing! The atmosphere is rustic, there's a bar and restaurant components of this place that are separated, the staff is nice, prices are unbeatable, food is amazing and comes out quickly. Menu variety is nice and loads of parking CONS: As funny as this sounds the only issue I had are that the urinals in the bathroom do NOT have a divider in between them which is uncomfortable OVERALL: I highly suggest coming here if you're in the area, this is an amazing place to come and eat at

Be sure when your spouse checks your spending accounts that he/she is full aware this place actually isn't a hotel. It may just save your marriage. The exterior is retro cool but sadly the interior is worn and tired, even with some recent renovations. The burger was surprisingly delicious as were the clams! I was pleasantly surprised, surpassed my expectations. Wait staff is friendly BUT kinda inattentive.

Emerson Hotel is a cozy, hometown bar with a very relaxed vibe. I went with friends to grab a beer and a pizza. We took a high top table in the bar area. Although the bar was busy, the bartender was still efficient and able to come out to serve us. It was difficult to choose a pizza!! They all sounded delicious

Delicious food, nice atmosphere. Glad to see vegetarian option and the portions were generous.

Plus the service was on point with friendly staff members. The chicken buffalo dip was tasty as heck. It wasn't oily like many dips and it just felt refreshing? If I can even use that term while eating a dip lol had the roast beef and it was delicious. The meat was tender in this gravy like sauce, the grilled veggies went well together. The turkey burger? Sorry but was pretty dried. Either they over cooked or added too much breadcrumbs? It wasn't very good but doable. I would def go back and check out other dishes or head to the opposite side for the bar. Fun, cozy, romantic scene happening here. Not bad at all!

I also liked the pizza, I think it was called the Bee Sting? Nice flavor, would eat that again. Otherwise we did not enjoy our experience. We were seated underneath a vent that continuously sprayed water, at one point right into my food. No thanks. I ended up sampling the kids' macaroni and cheese, which was utterly bland. The salad portion was skimpy to boot. On the whole, we felt no need to return. Maybe you will have (or have already had) a better experience. But with so many options out there we will look elsewhere.

We were greeted right away by the one employee on staff, who was very attentive and pleasant. He was both the waiter and bartender. We ordered the smash burger as an appetizer since it's something I've never seen on a menu as an appetizer before. The smash burger itself was basically a standard double cheeseburger. The patties had a strange texture and didn't have much of a crust. There were also no pickles or house sauce, as the description said there would be. That being said the hand-cut fries that came with it were freshly fried and delicious. For dinner we got the gnocchi in spicy ragu and the pork chop Milanese. The gnocchi was delicious with the sauce but could have been hotter it unfortunately came out lukewarm. The pork chop Milanese was presented beautifully and had good flavor, but it felt like it was missing something (maybe a little more spice or citrus to complement the Asian slaw on top). Overall the service was great, but food was only good and extremly pricey for the portion sizes. I'm hoping the restaurant succeeds, and I'd like to go back and try some different dishes.

There were some people sitting outside for dinner and maybe three other tables inside full so it was not busy if you wanted to walk in for dinner it is possible but we had reservations. The decor aims for high end dining, they have an elegant bar area with some tables if you prefer to eat on that side. The hostess and servers were very attentive. The menu is very limited. They have a bunch of different special martini drinks, and plenty of wine selections, but the food menu is very limited. They have dinner specials to offer. My husband went with the burger, which was a very thick patty served with a brioche bun, cooked perfectly. The fries were just OK. They looked as if they were frozen fries just put in the oven. I went with the cod special over Seasonal corn. The corn was tasteless. The cod was cooked perfectly although it did lack a little bit of flavor and we shared the iceberg salad for an appetizer, which was good, but nothing special. The prices were reasonable we decided to pass up on the dessert and take a walk down the main Avenue in Westwood and find some ice cream . I believe it was the male owner that did stop by after we finish dinner to check on us. He was very pleasant.

Being that it was on a Thursday barely anybody was inside and that was fine with me. I seen they had a pear drink and it was great and I had 2 of them. It came on top of creamy polenta and they were delicious. For dessert I had I had to the pb&j cannolis. That's the name reason I wanted to try this restaurant. Upon arrival at Osteria Crescendo to celebrate my milestone birthday as first-timers, my partner and I were greeted by the staff. The space was split in two: one side is a bar, and the other is its pristine dining room filled with details such as white marble tabletops and glasses reminiscent of Italian craftsmanship. We were led to a table by the window with a wide range of music playing, evoking a vibe that was posh and modern yet still had its callbacks to the old country. Their menu adopts a more traditional Italian approach with antipasti, primi, secondi, per la tavola ("for the table," for sharing), and dolci. Sampling cocktails and nibbling from their bar menu takes us back to Venice, which, inspired by the Italian tradition of cicchetti (snacks), offered small plates, such as fried calamari and house-cured salumi, meant to be enjoyed with a glass of wine or a cocktail. As an appetizer to share, we opted for the Burrata. For our main meal, we decided on the Lancaster Amish Chicken and Spinach Girelle. We even saved some room for dessert and got their Apple Pie Sundae with vanilla gelato accompanied by a lit candle. Complimentary bread with oil started our meal. The food was delicious, presented well, and generous portions from a well-thought-out menu with a complete balance of flavors. Not only were the noodles freshly made in-house, but they're also perfectly cooked, wonderfully firm to the bite. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, especially our server Chanelle, who made the experience even better. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Set inside a thoughtfully transformed former bank, the space retains a sense of structure and history while being reimagined into something warm and inviting--a true "gastro-cornerstone" at one of Westwood's most visible intersections. Where transactions once took place, guests now gather over coffee, conversation, and carefully crafted plates. The menu leans into elevated comfort with a clear attention to detail. The Skillet is a standout--two eggs any style layered over crispy potatoes and thick-cut bacon glazed with a subtle passion fruit syrup, finished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and fresh thyme. It's a dish that balances savory depth with just a hint of brightness, served alongside buttered sourdough that rounds out the plate beautifully. The pesto grilled chicken panini follows suit--simple in concept, but executed with precision, its fresh mozzarella and herbaceous pesto carried by bread baked fresh in-house. Equally impressive are the bakery offerings. Rows of freshly made, artisanal baked goods--presented in their most honest, "naked" form--highlight the kitchen's commitment to craftsmanship. There's no need for excess; the quality speaks for itself with every bite. What truly elevates Rosangelly's is its sense of identity. From its specialty coffee program, rooted in Latin American tradition, to the warmth of its hospitality, the experience feels intentional without being overworked. It's the kind of place that invites you to linger--whether for a quick espresso or a slow, unhurried brunch. A standout addition to Bergen County's dining scene--and one that feels built to last.
