It's a Chili's, they are all the same, not bad, not great. My husband had the pretzel appetizer though and he was a very happy camper. Went here last night. Okay...this is really not so much about the food...it was more about the entertainment of the evening...but the food was great for what it was...and we were there at the tail end of the night...9 pm...so for the food to still be yummy and fresh, I was at least impressed with that from a chain restaurant. My friend happened to know one of the waitstaff from when he was a kid---Robert. Really nice kid...say hi to him, he's fixin' to work the bar. Our server's name was Kim...same as mine, easy to remember...was also wearing the same watch as me...HA!! At any rate, so my dinner friend and Robert start chatting and that was the end of it...we became Grand Table Central!! LOL It was an absolute HOOT!!! All of the servers came out to play at our table...everyone was sitting with us, chatting, sharing stories, videos...it was quite fun/funny. I was only hoping the manager did not get upset with all the young kids coming to play with us. For what it's worth, I don't think it would have been like this if my friend did not know one of the servers, but...it was really fun...the folks were super nice...the food was served hot, the drinks cold, and we were totally entertained after a long long day at the pool---we will def come back at some point. :) Thanks for makin' our night, kids! :) read more

My husband and I have dined in and used the car side to-go. Every time we've been the service is so slow! Either this place is under staffed or their slogan is "Someone will be right with you". Last night was the final straw. We stood around looking and waiting for a host(ess) and when one appeared she proceeded to ask for our names. I questioned how long the wait was for a party of two (15min) and decided it wasn't worth it if the service was also going to be slow. We left and went to another nearby restaurant. Food was good and great service. I went with my daughter and we enjoyed our lunch. The server was very accommodating and understanding.

I really want to like this Chilis. But the food quality is poor at best. Today it was a house salad gone bad. Literally bad. There was a big clump of rotting lettuce in my salad. Thank you taste buds for being my early warning detection system on this one. Since we got this to go, I actually brought it back and had to wait over 5 minutes to even be greeted at the ToGo counter and then another 5 for the manager. Do I always get the new person? It feels as though every time I go to THIS Chili's I either get the new person or the person that is overloaded with that large table in the middle. The service has never been good; UNLESS I sit in the bar area (which is odd) and the food is only if not less than mediocre. Their to-go just doesn't have it together. Always at least a 45 minute wait for food. Very disorganized and often leave out items that were ordered. I so want this chilis to be great!! I never write reviews but this is not my first issue with this Chili's and it is worth mentioning. Placed an order for curbside pickup and received notification that it would be ready between 6:28p and 6:33p. I checked in at 6:42p. The manager or someone came out with a clipboard about 6:50 and said their tablet wasn't working. He wrote down my name and parking space number but never came back out. Another employee came out about 10 minutes later and wrote down my name and parking space number again. No one ever came back out. I went inside at 7:30 to inquire about the order and they said they were remaking it and then said they were in the process of bagging it. I didn't get the order until 7:42p. When I said they needed to make it right the manager took my name and said they would send discount cards. Waiting. The food wasn't even hot. Lousy, lousy, lousy service. So disappointed. Even though this is the closest location to my home, I can't say I will return to this location. read more

I love(d Chili's. The food was always consistently good. Today I placed a curbside order. I didn't have time to cook and my grand baby was sick so I didn't want to go inside. I received a text letting me know to text 'here' when I arrived. I did this and received a text letting me know my order was on its way out. I waited 10 minutes then tried calling. I was on hold for a while so I just hung up. I got the baby out of the car and went inside. It had already been 20 minutes since my order was supposed to be ready. There were 2 employees, one just sitting. My order was on the shelf behind the register. Come on folks. You can do better than this. read more

Came in for a Caribbean salad. Had it here just a week ago and it was awesome, tonight was very much the opposite! When you pay $11+ for a salad, at the very least you want all the items in it menu. We got it to go and had to go back in 2x before I got the salad I actually ordered!!! Incompetent staff and lazy cook. This place only gets two stars because it was clean and the food was decent. But geez- the line was over an hour long with no where to sit. Once we finally did get seated I had enough time for the waitress to ask for the table next to ours' drink order before coming back and aggressively asking what we wanted to eat. I had just started the Keto diet the day before so it was gonna take a few minutes to see what, if anything, I could have. So this chick loomed next to our table and came back three times in less than 5 minutes to ask for our order. Now I'm no snob about taking forever, and never have been, but give me a chance to at least LOOK at the menu! It was very pushy and completely unnecessary. At here tonight in the bar, server was cleaning tables, towel dropped on the floor, and sure enough a few minutes later she picked it up and continued to wipe three other tables down with it. Gross! I would rather eat at a dirty table. Food is good but need to work on training, another visit the girl cleaning the table sprayed the cleaning spray across the table and over sprayed all over my food. Mostly bad experiences here unfortunately. I love the m margarita grilled chicken with the rice and black beans. Three service trends too be very slow and distracted. The host has NEVER been at or near the door when we show up. I have called on my phone while stabbing at the host stand just too get someone's attention...no luck...because no one answered lol. Its my local place to eat when I want to sit down with the kiddos and my honey. I have had a few mishaps but for the most part, they offer the food with decent service. In an attempt I know to be nice they decided to bring my kids food order out early. Which was nice in theory, except their kitchen was so backed up that my kids were both completely done eating before my food made its way to my table. When I complained to the manager I got a bs story of it being a company policy (which it was not 2 weeks ago) when I pointed this out then it turned into well we tell our servers to do it as a courtesy. I explained it's not helpful when they are done eating before I got my food. I got a well not to give an excuse but the kitchen is busy it's Friday night. To which i stated then don't send the kids food out well before you know the adult food will come. The manager was super rude then the waitress was horrible to us the rest of our visit because we complained. I see why this Chili's has such bad reviews. This review is for the to go service. I've had no issues inside the restaurant. The to go service is terrible. There were 3 people standing in the area when I went in and none came over to ask if I needed help. I had to go to the bar and ask the bartender to get me help. When he asked one of the girls to assist me she flat out said no and that he should get "Amanda". This isn't the first time I've had issues with the to go area at this chilis. I've had orders that were missing sides and condiments and the service is always bad. Luckily I don't get food from here very often and now the frequency will be much less, if at all. I have found Chili's as a whole has declined over the years, however this location takes the cake. We were seated by a hostess who clearly didn't want to be there. Our waitress was decent, and that is being nice, and the food....barf! The feel of the whole place screamed of unhappiness. We gave take out a second chance a month later and we waited a good 5 minutes for the to go person to "search" for our order....while it sat on the counter in front of us just out of reach. When we flagged her down to ask her if the food sitting on the counter was ours the response was "oh yeah." No apology. We will never be back. read more

Worst chilis in the area. Staff is poorly trained. One hostess to clean tables, check people in, answer the phone. Sat 3 other couple before use and then sat us at the table that had been open since we walked in. There is no manager in sight. Staff have a booth they take there breaks in and use there phones at but lord forbid they seat customers during the rush or bus the tables. And to top it off the beer taps are down. My review includes the regular service and the To-Go service: I IMPLORE YOU TO READ THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO THIS LOCATION. First, I would like to say that I have been to this location three times and ALL visits have ended with me and members of family frustrated. Me especially. The first visit I made was about a month past their opening. My family of five, including me, made an order through their To-Go service. The orders were relatively simple, the only slight change to one was mine, a Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sandwich with nothing but provolone cheese. Every visit I make to any Chili's, I will order this as my entrée. We arrived a few minutes early and sat in a small room with enough room for two to six, maybe, to sit and a dozen to stand at maximum. My pregnant fiancé and I waited nearly an hour, I remember because we saw never the entire airing of Dancing With The Stars. Most of the food was OK, but the overall temperature of our food as far below par. My sandwich was awful, it tasted fine, the temperature was bearable, BUT THEY LEFT THE PAPER ON THE CHEESE. And THERE WAS NO SAUCE. My second visit was about two months later. This time, it was just my fiancé and I. The food was perfectly fine, but the waiter had the attitude of young girl who just had her phone taken from her for the duration of dinner. My third visit was tonight, and it set me and my soon-to-be uncle-in-law off. We arrived at a pretty busy time with eight people in our party, we sat down in a second. I was honestly very impressed with that. Our waitress was very kind, but throughout the night, she started acting like we have done something. She was definitely on top of drinks, but she paid no attention to our entrees. I ordered the same item, BCRS with nothing but provolone cheese and my soon-to-be aunt-in-law ordered a quesadilla entrée, both of which were somehow misheard. Our entire party received our entrees about nearly an hour after we ordered, my uncle's pasta was cold and the chicken way over-seasoned. It tasted like tuna with a mound of black pepper on it. The noodles were even worse. My aunt receive not a Quesadilla entrée, but a Quesadilla SALAD. Immediately, my uncle brought this to the waitresses' attention, she apologized and offered to bring her what she wanted. My aunt refused kindly, my uncle refused, and the waitress rolled her eyes as she left the table. She came back with the rest of the entrees, including mine, which had EVERYTHING but CHEESE. I let her know the situation and she said she'd return with a BCRS with nothing but cheese. She said she'd return with what I requested, and she returned with a BCRS with nothing at all in a minute. I told her again what I had asked for and the manager sprung right into the conversation. He dismissed her and told me he'd personally see that I get that sandwich that I wanted immediately. My family and I waited twenty minutes before I left hungry, empty-handed, disappointed, and frustrated. But also, happy, because I don't ever have to spend a dime there again. read more

Nice new Chili's with a good food and drink menu selection but, it's ruined with TERRIBLE service. The so called call ahead waiting was for NOT, we arrived and they told us 20 minutes which turned into well over an hour. A large table came open and they told us we would be seated soon. This turned into the longest part of the wait because they do not have anyone to bus the tables from what we were told. Then the drinks came out slow, we had one drink that we ordered three times before we got it. The food was slow coming out and some of the food was cold when we got it. The place has some management issues for sure. The location is great but I only see the service getting worse due to the water park opening soon. I was hoping that this Chili's would be better than the one in Georgetown, but they are run pretty much the same way. What a shame. read more

Pflugerville is pretty limited on places to eat but do not go here. If you have to have Chili's then go to Tech Ridge. I've had horrible service sitting inside. They've screwed up to go orders more than once and it takes an hour or more to get your incorrect order. Just go in the to go section and you always see frustrated people that have been waiting a ridiculous amount of time. My fiance and I were on our way home and thought we'd stop in for a drink. We even questioned if we should but literally said, it's just a drink how bad could they mess that up. We sat at the bar and a few minutes later we still hadn't been greeted and another couple sits down next to us. A few more minutes and the bartender finally makes his way over and greets the other couple, throws some napkins in our direction without acknowledging us and proceeds to chit chat with the girl, evidently she works there. We had time to discuss going somewhere else for a drink, get up from it seats before he even looked at us and I told him, we're good. He smiled, nodded and said, ok! How about that customer service. Chili's, you already have so much competition in Austin, why shoot yourself in the foot? You have to step it up or the new Pflugerville will kick you out! read more

0 stars here. I wanted to make a to go order and the whole interaction was terrible. Took 4 calls to actually have someone pick up. Waited 15 minutes on hold before I could make a to go order. I'm sure you're thinking-why did you wait 15 minutes on the phone, dummy? The answer is that I actually drove to the Chili's and was staying on hold to see if someone would answer before I got there. Not joking, someone answered as I was walking in. I'm not sure if that's funny or sad. Probably both. So, I complain to the Manager that it should never take 4 phone calls OR 15 minutes on hold to place a to go order and his response was "I'm sorry sir, I apologize for the lack of service. Can I offer you a drink while you wait or maybe a free appetizer?". Haha and George Strait's got ocean front property in Arizona. He actually said "Sorry man, we're just busy. I had a line cook call in and a few servers not show up so do you still want food or not?" In the most annoyed tone possible. I've been managing for over a decade and I can say from experience that you should never throw your team under the bus or make excuses for poor performance. The whole experience was awful and the only reason I write this review is because I hope that people read this and don't waste their precious time or money here. When there are major issues at the top of the chain I can guarantee that there are issues at the bottom. AKA who knows how they handle food/sanitation etc.. I took my boyfriend to lunch for his birthday. We went during the middle of the day on a Friday. Besides the random school bus of high school students, there really weren't that many people dining in. From what I could see, there were at least five waitresses and a manager out on the floor. We came in, and yes they did tell us they were busy, so taking five minutes to get a server to come wait on us was not that big of a deal. When our waitress (which I will be nice enough not to name) came to our table she took our drink orders, but, was not very attentive and got his drink wrong. Simple mistake that was corrected, not that big of a deal. Then she came back maybe another five minutes later and took our order. We waited probably almost half an hour before she brought the food out. She got my order wrong, which again she corrected, but, all of the food was cold. My boyfriend commented that every time she came to the table she'd ask if we needed anything else, but, would walk past us while saying it like she expected that we wouldn't need anything. Which, bothered me a little, but, still wasn't going to make me tip her any less or anything. Then, she brought me another refill of tea which had black specs in it. My boyfriend then had to go to the bathroom for about half an hour due to the food upsetting his stomach (probably from being too cold...) At this point I was upset, but, I work in customer service so I know mistakes happen, and still was trying to keep a good attitude about the service we were getting. I wasn't expecting him to be in there that long, nor did I realize his stomach was so upset from the food, so I thought about telling the waitress it was his birthday. However, after waiting almost 25 minutes of that half hour for her to come to the table I decided against it and just asked for to go boxes. After my boyfriend got back to the table he told me about his stomach and we waited ten minutes for the boxes. When she brought them, one of the boxes was covered in grease! It was disgusting!!! I can't believe she didn't even spend a few seconds to check the boxes she was giving to her customers! So we asked for a new one after having to wait another ten minutes for her to come back. Then we had to wait another fifteen for the check, and while waiting we noticed sugar ants crawling all over the wall. That was it for me. After getting the "grease box" I was done trying to keep a good attitude. My boyfriend made a complaint with the manager, who rushed him mind you and was sitting in an office where she couldn't even see anything going on in the kitchen or floor. Horrible service and experience! I went to Chili's with my family of 5. We waited over 45 min to be seated with open tables everywhere. The hostess sat us down at a booth for 4. We had 5. I asked her if we can have a table because we would not fit comfortably. She said "Okay" with an attitude and directed us back to the waiting area for another 10 min or so. She sat us at a table with 4 chairs and gave us two menus. At this point I can't deal. I asked to talk to a manager and the hostess all of a sudden had an open table that fit. The Manager came over and apologized. She took our drink order and food order. The food took over an hour. The quality of food and service has gone down hill! I'm very disappointed with my experience. It's happen more than once. This will be the last time we go there. read more

I'm giving them five stars because of their General Manager, Mario. I came in to dine and had a lot of questions and limitations due to food allergies. Our server couldn't answer any of our questions so she went and got Mario. He patiently answered all of my questions and when it looked like I wasn't going to be able to dine there, Mario offered to make my burger through the oven and not on the grill where it could be tainted by other foods I was allergic to. I could not believe it! He even was so thoughtful to include a veggie that he knew would not be seasoned with anything. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am that on a busy Friday night, He went more than the extra mile for a customer. read more

Very slow service the 3 times I've been here. Even when I have gone when it's not busy we have waited 45-50 minutes to get our food. Food has been pretty good but not great enough to fight through the service. Wait staff is friendly enough but would seem to disappear when we needed refills or the check. My kids declared this a place we should not go back to because the food took so long. read more

The service is awful. It started when we arrived at our freshly cleaned table and there was a pickle from the last person. Pointed it out, and the host still just walked away. Took 15 minutes before acknowledged by waitress and another 15 for drinks. The queso tasted weird and watered down. Took 25 minutes to get a margarita and never got refill of water. Had to clear out our own plates to make room. This has to be the worst Chilis I have ever gone to. There is no expectation of service or pride. read more
