I grew up being agnostic on Chili's and in adulthood I hated Chili's. Like seriously, I was repulsed. But.....today at Chili's on Oracle, I had one of the best overall restaurant experiences I've ever had in Tucson. I mean that. Our server, Grace was pretty flipping amazing. She was attentive, nice, and knowledgeable. Very very personable and I watched her keeping an eye on everyone in her section. At no point did I feel like I was missing anything or needed her. She was just always there. That said, the operational flow of this resturant was top notch. Nobody was overworked, nobody doing too much. Everybody had an area and tasks and they got done. I could SEE IT. The food, I got the QP burger? I think it's called, on the '3 for Me' menu. If you follow me, I have a standard for burgers and it's the following: 1. Juicy 2. Well seasoned 3. Thick This Chili's burger surprisingly met all three marks. It was cooked well, was pretty thick, and had a definitive flavor of salt. I was impressed. At the end, Grace gave us giant bags of chips and salsa to go and even offer take home sodas. She was incredible. I will say, there was a bit of miscommunication on my girlfriend's drink choice. She ordered a margarita, but then it wasn't communicated that that replaced her drink with the '3 for Me'. So in essence, she should've been offered a soda or something. We paid full price for the margarita. A bit of an annoyance, but forgivable. Grace gets..... Wait for it.... grace here. Anyway, I love this location now and will return. If you're up near Oro Valley, this is a fine place to stop for dinner. read more

This is the best buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. I was immediately greeted by the owner or GM or something who opened the door for me which was great. Then I had my chicken sandwich and I couldn't stop smiling. I think if Chili's distributed these sandwiches to the United States Military, it could single-handedly cure PTSD. They could also use it for psychological warfare purposes to torment the enemy on how good life is in America. I love this country because of this sandwich. It is that good. I considered bringing these sandwiches to a mental institution to cure depression. The day that chilis gets rid of this menu option, I will have no choice but to commit mass acts of violence on those around me. Review of Chili's (a.k.a. My Culinary Colosseum) Last night, dear readers, I did not eat at Chili's--I embarked on a gladiatorial feast-quest that tested both my arteries ‍ and my will to live. Behold: the Triple Dipper (a.k.a. Pick 3), that mythical platter of appetizers descended from the heavens onto my table. I chose my champions: Country Crispers , Fried Mozzarella , and Burger Bites . * The Country Crispers strutted out first, cloaked in golden armor , crunching with every bite as if announcing, "I am deep-fried destiny!" They dunked into ranch like Olympic divers and came up victorious. * Then came the Fried Mozzarella, molten dairy grenades of glory. Each bite stretched cheese into such epic lengths I half expected NASA to study its elasticity for future space missions. * Finally, the Burger Bites: miniature Zeus-crafted burgers , each one a tiny titan of beefy bravado. They did not bite back--they hugged my soul. And while I was scaling Mount Cholesterol , my noble friend chose the Veggie Burger . Yes, the lone plant-based knight at this feast. It arrived humble, understated, yet noble in its mission: to prove that beans and vegetables can hold their own in a kingdom ruled by grease. The service? Impeccable. Our server didn't just bring napkins--oh no--they bestowed upon us paper shields to protect our mortal hands from the molten mozzarella onslaught. They refilled my Diet Coke like it was the Fountain of Youth. By the time the battle was won , I sat back, belly stretched ‍, whispering softly, "Chili's... you magnificent beast." Would I return? There are two Chili's here. One is the restaurant sit down. The other is car delivery via Uber Eats and Doordash. Same place, i.e., same restaurant, two different experiences. If you go to the restaurant and order boneless wings, you can get the sauce on the side, which is huge, because otherwise, they just load the sauce on there, making them unedible. Delivery? There is no option to go on the side. Not in Uber Eats nor Doordash (although a year ago, you could). The honey mixes one with bbq, I think, is okay. Buffalo is drenched. At the restaurant, you get 2 dipping sauces at no charge. You are supposed to get two with delivery. It says so in the app. Yet, over and over again, you get one. The shrimp tacos are tasty, and they rarely mess them up via delivery apps. On site, never an issue. Salads, no issue with either on-site or app. Kind of hard to mess that up. Look this is chain cuisine. Americana fare that isn't going to be a elite tier place. Although their pricing seems to think so, and this was the case even before the inflation increase. I tend to do the apps more so, and unless you go premium with Uber Eats or Doordash the delivery fees will be high. Overall, UE charges more. However if the restaurant messes up and you complain via their app, you get 100% back of what you paid. Doordash? About 60% back. Plus UE allows you to see the car movement. We'd kind of forgotten there was a Chili's in Oro Valley since we're always on our way somewhere else when we pass it. We decided to stop today for lunch. Our server was great and very attentive (she even offered an iced tea to go). Their '3 for me' menu is a great deal. The burger was huge (couldn't finish it) and the best burger I've had in a while and you get a side salad, cup of really great soup or chips and salsa, fries and a beverage for only $10.99. It had been a while since I've gone to Chili's....not sure what has happened from a few years ago but everything I've ordered the last 3 weeks there has been sensational. The Avocado Burger....juicy and very tasty....their chicken breast and the strips are the best I've ever had....no kidding. The ribs....juicy and tasty. The Service is impeccable. Someone is there whenever you need anything. Great wait staff. The ambiance is alive....and vibrant. Stopped in friday after work. Got the big qp burger with fries and a side salad. Burger was perfect medium and very tasty! It was huge, and this is NOT their biggest burger. I really enjoy this Chili's location. Never had a bad experience there yet and we have been multiple times. My favorite item is the blackberry iced tea....so refreshing and delicious! They have a lot of options for various different kinds of tex-mex foods and of course their baby back ribs! Today I decided to try their new grilled chicken bacon and avocado sandwich. It was so good! The buffalo chicken salad that my boyfriend had was also tasty. All in all we like coming here and we will definitely be back! read more

I stopped at Chili's Grill & Bar on Oracle Road in Oro Valley for take-outs for lunch.. The manager C.J. took my order, and added my military discount. I ordered two 3 for 10.99 an old-timer plain with Swiss cheese and mushrooms, I subbed corn on the cob in place of the fries. Salad no onions thousand island on the side. I also ordered an old-timer plain with cheddar cheese with fries and a salad w/cheese only. Two unsweetened iced teas with no sugar. Thank you. I will be using Chili's again. My friend and I ordered a frozen margarita and when we were presented with the bill/receipt, there was a $3.99 for the drink and a $2.50 charge separate with no description. Upon questioning our server, she said the $2.50 was part of the margarita charge and should have been one charge of $6.49. She said she would update the receipt and when she came back, the charge for the drink was $7.34, not the $6.49. Long story short, we told her that this was not right and before you know it, the manager was at our table, trying to explain why the server charged us the way she did. Talked to us like we were 4th graders that couldn't understand squat. This is the 2nd bad experience we have had there. Just 2 senior women trying to have a nice lunch. Won't be back. I'm an Oro Valley Resident and I came into Chilli's on Oracle Road in Oro Valley Arizona for takeouts Saturday October 15th. Rachel was my server, she was fantastic. I ordered two 3 for Me $10.99. BOTH OF THEM WERE OLDTIMER BURGERS WITH CHEESE one with mushrooms and Swiss and the other just cheese, both with salads and fries on one and corn on the cob on the other. Our server Charles was wonderful tonight! Attentive, courteous and just overall great. Also appreciated that another gentleman noticed my husband watching a UFC fight on his phone and was so nice to actually put it on the TV in our area. Hostess was also nice and friendly! Our group of 3 went here yesterday for lunch. Don't think I have ever been so disappointed in a restaurant. I ordered the Quesadilla Loaded Chicken Salad. Never had a salad with less taste and appeal than this one. There wasn't one redeeming factor about the salad. It was tasteless and unappetizing. Even the dressing was tasteless! There wasn't one thing positive I could say about this salad. One of the other people in our group also had a salad and she said she felt the same about hers. She got two dressings for her and said that neither one had any taste. For the prices charged, you should get a wonderful, big salad, but just not there. Not sure if this is just one more thing to add to the long list of "it's because of COVID", but dang, they can't even get appetizers right? I ask for cheese Queso and chips. The chips only had a few full sized chips on top. I had to ask for new ones, it's a little difficult to dip crumbs in cheese. Who would have thought that they could mess up the southwestern eggrolls. Chili's is always a great fall back place to go when you can't decide exactly what you want. We had a hard time deciding until we drove by and said well let's go to Chili's. We got our drinks and also got the endless chips and salsa which is always very good. We got the steak fajitas for two with extra meat. Now we have lots of Mexican restaurants here in Tucson but I have to tell you nobody has your fajitas coming out sizzling like Chili's does. They probably have one of the best fajita dishes. The stick is always flavorful and tender and your fajitas come out with cheese pico de gallo guacamole and tortillas. Service was wonderful drinks were kept filled up. read more

Hadn't been to a chili's in a minute, but I had a gift card so my fiancée and I decided to check it out. I read the reviews beforehand and noticed that many people said service in the restaurant was a little slow, but that the bar was quick and dependable. So we sat at the bar. We sat down minutes before the end of happy hour, but the bar tender was happy to accommodate us and get us a round of drinks for the happy hour price. He even asked if we wanted another round, so that he could put it in and get the happy hour deal. So nice! We only did one round of drinks but I really appreciate the consideration! I got a southwestern chicken salad and it was very good! Lots of good chicken and lots of greens. My fiancé got the fajitas and they were really good. Overall happy with our meals and the taste of everything. The bar tender, Chris was his name I think, was great, providing us excellent service. He even had a pretty solid bar tending trick: he could toss a glass behind his back from one hand to the other. It's hard to describe but very impressive! A fun addition to the experience! While the service was good the food was terrible. The Southwest egg rolls were fine but while my wife's salad was just sad and wilted my boneless wins were nothing short of heavily breaded chicken nuggets with a chemical tasting sauce that upset my stomach. The drinks were nothing to write home about either. I used to frequent Chilis a lot in my younger days and never had a bad meal so I thought the wife and I would give it a try. We came after church on Sunday! We were informed after we were served that chips and salsa are no longer free and that the unlimited soup and salad was now limited! The very small bowl of chicken enchilada soup was only 1/4 full! The Caesar salad portion was ok, but some of the lettuce was brown tinged! No refills on drinks were offered! Bill for 2 was $30,00!
