Horrible Experience!!! We ordering their fahitas that came out so cold I could touch the grill plate that was suppose to be sizzling, the black beans, rice and tortillas were also cold. For this I blame the waiter, cause he had only one other table that I could see and when he saw the food was cold in the window in the kitchen he should have never brought it out to our table. When I called the manager over he barely spoke took only the fahitas away, I had to walk the beans and rice into the kitchen. When he brought the sizzling fahitas back I tried to comment on my disappointment, which he clearly didn't hear, casue he then removed his ear piece that is for communicating with the staff and I wasn't going to repeat myself. There was no real effort to review my table and make sure we had everything cause after he walked away I had to give the tortillas to the waiter to be reheated and a neighboring table was kind enough to give us some silverware that had left with the cold food so we could try to eat the replaced food while still hot. Also pretty sure our original food was just put on a hot sizzling plate. To make matters worse while we waited for our tortillas to come back to the table warm, the waiter, who thought I wouldn't get his sarcasm commented that his manager would be out with my extra hot tortillas in a minute. I replied it wasn't about it being extra hot, the food just needed to be hot, period!!!!! Also the manager who barely spoke a full sentence to me never even made me aware of what he planned to do as far as the check or maybe a dessert included and it wasn't even about compensation he didn't really provide that smile or extra effort of customer service you would expect from a manager. The check did have some random credits that I found on my own when paying the check. To make things worse, in the parking lot as we were leaving we ran into another couple who were leaving without finishing their meal cause apparently the waitress only served the husband's meal and gave the wife's meal to another table, while she waited for her's to be made again and his got cold. I have been a waitress for over 15 years and for that reason I know I have high expectations when I dine out, but this was bad by anyones expectations. read more

Great service and efficient management. Our server Caitlin was very sweet. The food isn't gourmet, but you don't come to chili's for gourmet food. The manager addressed an issue we had before we even had to say anything. Really happy with the trip, will come again. read more

Usually this Chili's is alright with me, but today definitely wasn't the best experience. Don't even know what the waitress's name was (not even sure if she told us). She gave us a "minute" to look over the menu which lasted about 20 minutes. Now mind you she has yet to ask us if we want anything to drink. So when she finally decides to come back she takes our food and drink order. She writes nothing down. We did the 2 for $20 so I ordered the fajitas and asked for both chicken and pork. When I received my food I only had chicken. The waitress at the bar helped me since our waitress was nowhere to be found. She brought me back my plate and said that they would bring me out the pork carnitas separately. Another lady who I'm guessing might've been the manager brought me a saucer of some dry pork carnitas. By now I'm outdone. All I wanted was a check and a to go box! It's going to be a while before I go back to this Chili's...if I go back. Left today definitely disappointed. read more

Why do I keep giving this Chili's a chance oh the Chocolate Molten Cake. I went to Chilis at North Riverside & only waited 10 minutes to be seated "great". However when I got my entree my food was old, cold & refried. Why Why Why??? Is what I kept asking myself. Then my server says well I can ask my manager... Ask them what why my food is cold? Take it back to the back for a compliant & God knows what the cooks do.... I'm so over this place. I was so upset I didn't even order my CAKE!!! Chilies you have to do better read more

Great food and great service. Clean bathrooms and wonderful staff. I would keep using their service. And others should as well.

we came in and waited 15 mins to be seated. We wanted a table because I was too short for the booth. we sat at the booth while the two host said they would seat us in an empty table two feet away from us. we waited another 15 minutes before the waiter helped us to a regular table. we walked pass the hostess and she just said she forgot about us and went on talking to her friend by the front. I felt it was really rude. and then my broccoli was brown so i didnt not eat all of my food. I would not be visiting this location again. read more

update: had the country freid steak with mashed potatoes and corn.......best meal Ive had in months!

food came out wrong the first time, then came out cold... they did give me a new fresh order but the experience was once again horrible even the table to my left had the same issues. the managers seem flustered and the employees were just trying to do their job. read more

I often eat here - tried to eat here today. There was no one at the reception stand. The place was less than 1/3 full, and I thought it odd that there were people seated in the waiting area, but asked my husband to get a table and went to the restroom, expecting to find him at a table when I got back. He was still standing and explained that he was told that it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait to be SEATED. There was a couple holding a sleeping toddler (heavy) in their arms, standing, waiting with us and several other people, when 2/3 of the tables were empty!!! I understood that you were low on wait-staff. I understood that there would be a wait for food. We were OK with that, we just wanted to SIT DOWN . Refusing to seat customers when more than half of your restaurant is empty? Bad management. So, we walked next door to Chik-fil-a where we ordered virtually the same salads we would have ordered at Chili's, immediately sat down and enjoyed our meal in the almost full dining area. Wonder which business made more money today? Wonder which one got bad reviews on Yelp? I never post reviews, but this time, I went out of my way. read more

Do not go to this establishment!!! It sucks....On June 7, 2018 my son who suffers with autism graduated 8th grade. For dinner he picked Chili's. We arrived tge was a 30-45min wait. Which was fine. Ther problem was we set at the table for over 30min waiting for someone to simply take our order. I ordered sm appetizer and Margarita to start with. It took another 35 to 40 minutes for the appetizer to come and l stop didn't have my Margarita. I put the order for our entree a southwest burger, and 2 cheese burgers for ...my daughters for him, chicken and rib combo for myself. 15 minutes later l received my drink. We devoured the appetizer. Approx. 30min later the waiter walks over and says "Ma'am I spoke to ther manager about how long you've been waiting for your food. He said ...you can have a free dessert. 40 minutes after that we finally received our FOOD. My food was cold as if it was sitting up. I didn't have much of an appetite at this point. I put the order in for the free dessert ..snd waited another 20 min or so for that. Not one time did the Manager come over to talk to us. I stayed because it was my Son's day and that's what he wanted CHILI'S not me. So disappointing this establishment is... it's being ran like garbage. read more

The food here is always good. If you sit in the bar area the service is extremely slow. The main restaurant service is great.

I haven't eaten at a Chili's in a real long time, so I was excited to see one in my new neighborhood. In a nutshell, the server we had was great, very attentive to us. However, the food was horrible. I had to send my drink back because something was floating in it, and my Chicken Caesar Salad had little pieces of tomato seeds in it and no tomatoes. I was so disappointed so I will not be going back there. read more

So bed experience tonight zionsk were broke and food was gross. My hamburger was burned and it took for forever for our check to we missed our movie read more

Our server was perfectly affable, but the table had not been wiped and I had to lay down napkins to keep from sticking to it. They were very busy. The electronic device didn't work for the family next to us and they stood around in the aisle for ten minutes waiting for some help. We stood around for ten minutes waiting for someone to take our payment. It was gross. read more

Service was ok they messed up my order but they fixed it real quick and our waitress was nice. But i had another reason for this 2 star rating at this spot today! Today is Halloween and of course you have family and kids dressed up. Well as soon as we entered the building and headed up to the hostess. she was criticizing and making fun a group of people in costumes to the other hostess. That right there is a sign of a not well trained individual. And the hostess is the first point of contact and to see something like that is ridiculous. There was no professionalism at all. read more

Usually I would easily rate chilis five stars but last night was an off night for the restaurant. The wait time wasn't too bad since my friend got there before me but my experience this time wasn't the best. Our waitress Gloria was good, but she must have had one too many tables because she rarely came back to check on us. She was very nice however but once she brought our chips and drinks we waited what seemed like an eternity for her to come back and take our food orders. However she was extremely apologetic so that was definitely appreciated. The food...I always get broccoli. OMG the broccoli was SO HARD AND FLAVORLESS last night that I almost said forget it and just didn't eat it. Luckily when Gloria came to check and see how things were I told her it was gross and she immediately brought me a new plate of broccoli. This is why I'm giving 4 stars not 5. My rib eye was good. Cooked to perfection and flavorful. My patron margarita was good, not enough patron for since its top shelf tequila I'll take it since I didn't make it myself. All and all the experience wasn't horrible but it wasn't what I'm use to either. I'll be back read more

Horrible under pressure. The staff is scattered and frazzled when there's too many separate big parties.

The food is always good, but I'm fed up with the lousy service and all the breeders with their out-of-control screaming kids. F@#king kid was kicking my seat constantly the whole time and the parents did nothing. Asked the server if he could do something about it. He didn't. Then he disappeared and left me waiting forever because the stupid kiosk thingie with the call light on wasn't working right. I'll order takeout from now on. The 1 star is only for the food. read more

I went into Chili's about an hour ago and had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. My husband and I regularly go there and we've never had any problems before. Today, we got there and the host seated us right away so it was nice because we didn't have to wait. We sat down and looked over the menu and chose our drinks and food. We were waiting for our server to come so we could order. We waited for about 20 minutes and NO ONE had come to greet us, get our drink order or anything. There was a party of about 8 adults and kids across from us and it looked like they weren't getting the best service either. I went to the hostess to ask to speak to a manager so that we could tell them what had happened. All we wanted was for him or anyone to take our order because we were really hungry. It turns out the table across from us was speaking to the manager about their bad service so I walk back to our table and once he's done with them I tell him that no one had approached our table. He apologized and said he was gonna speak to our server or help us himself if need be. We have now been there for more than half an hour. It turns out our server was supposed to be the same one as the people sitting across from us. A few minutes later the server comes to the table across from us and gives them some food and walks away. Idk if the manager didn't say anything or if she didn't care but she didn't even acknowledge us. Shortly after that the manager brings them some drinks and does not acknowledge us either. As he's walking away the host asks him who's gonna serve us and the manager says that in a couple minutes someone will be with us. We were there for about 40 minutes and then WE LEFT. We only stayed that long because we were really hungry and we had never had an experience like that there read more

I went to the Chili's on 22nd St. in Riverside, Il with a group of my friends for a Birthday Party. I was pleasently surprised how friendly the staff was and how delicious the food was. I especially enjoyed the Skillet Queso dip. Although, I do not drink my friends were drinking there margaritas! Just great! read more

My local Chili's is a great place to bring the grand-kids. They are at the tender age between baby and teen-ager & love to eat out at Chili's! I love it because of the great service, excellent food and wonderful prices!!! If I had my way, we would eat at Chili's every day. Keep up the good work. read more

My family eats here at least twice a month because kids eat free on Tuesdays. Everytime we go, we always ask for the same server and are always given the best service. If it wasn't for the great service, we probably wouldn't eat there. The food is decent and the prices are good. read more

This restaurant has come a long way since they opened their doors a few years back. Complaints of cold food, slow kitchen staff, and crummy service were certainly believable. After taking about 1 year off, my family and I decided to give it another try. We were pleasantly surprised by well prepared food that came out fast. Our server was really quite attentive, and our son even cleaned his plate (a rarity for a 2 year old). read more

I took my little sister and I here tonight, interesting visit. Slow night and our waitress, Vera, smelled like BO. I ordered the bacon avocado chicken sandwich and asked for no bacon but extra avocado. The waitress chose to not hear the extra avocado part. I got the sandwich and there were two tiny slivers of avocado! The sandwich was a let down and the fries were to salty. I got her attention while she was walking past like she was sweeping the floor with her feet and asked her for the extra avocado. She replied 'sure love' and put something in her mouth! I couldn't believe she ate something directly in front of us! She gave us boxes that were way to small which caused us to have to squish all of our food in. We were even considering dessert before I saw her stick her fingers in her mouth. But she dropped off the check and stood by the register. We sat there for a while trying to get her attention then the managers attention who walked by us like we weren't even there! I finally paid and got the eff out of there. read more

If I could give a negative rating, this place would get -10. As you read, I know what you will be saying to yourself " why does she keep going there?" Answer; it is close and I like the meal. Here is the situation. I am an overweight woman who usually dines alone. That being said, the waiters in the bar area have been so incredibly rude. In a previous visit one even asked me if I wanted to lick the plate to get it clean!!!! I hear them gathered near the kitchen talking about other customers and laughing so loud it is disgusting. The LAST night I was there Feb 4, 2013 @ 9:15 pm, I was not greeted when I entered, the manager looked at me-then his watch...still no greeting. The guy who usually looks, nudges a coworker, they look at me and both laugh, was there and as usual, laughed. There were maybe 10 people total in bar area , four servers and NO ONE even said "I'll be with you in a moment". I could go on but it doesn't get any better. How on earth can those boys, who must be at least 21 years old, since they work in the bar, behave so disrespectfully and maintain employment. Hopefully, this may change their job status! read more
