Not very impressed with the service here. Hair in my husband's water, not even an apology was granted. Server didnt get our order correctly and he was very non attentive. My tummy is a bit upset! A quick look at this dining establishment would have you thinking - okay ...it's pretty, colorful, but a closer look would show - and not with a magnifying glass - with your naked eye(o) - that there's stuff on the walls in the booth areas. Splatters of sauces and small flicks of food. My "plastic" cup was clouded from over-use and my fork had water stains. Our host didn't seem to happy about working today and asked if I had a problem with the booth he choose for my family and I, (the dining area was not full - we came just before a rush). However, our waiter, Cody, (I think), was pleasant and worked well for his tip. Our food was warm - after about a half hour wait and he provided re-fills and asked if all was well - often. The little electronic thingy, (a new means of self-pay without a human), at our table didn't work well, so Cody was more than helpful in making sure our payment went through. My hubby told me to pick out something and he'd get it for my birthday. I have to work, so we just decided on the to-go option until I am off later on this week. BOG MISTAKE!!! Food was cold. Items missing and no utensils. Was told my management they have to be requested in order to get them. We requested them! I have been to the Chili's in Skokie, IL three times, and each time the food was cold when my party was served, so I wanted to try another location because I had some gift cards. I decided to try this one, and I really wish I hadn't bothered to give the chain a 4th try. I placed a To Go order over the telephone. It wasn't that the person who answered was rude, but I felt rushed through placing the order. It sounded like a madhouse in there, so I gave her a pass, but saying uh-huh, uh-huh after each item I order is not a good thing. I can't say if the food was cold or not, because it was picked up by someone else, and by the time I got it, it was ice cold anyway. We had the Texas Fries appetizer, and appetizing it was not. The cheese was like glue, and all the fries were stuck in the gunk, you couldn't really pry them apart with the fork and you had to stick your finger in them. The taste could have been better. I had the Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers. The sauce was awful! It had a strange overly sweet burnt taste, that was too spicy. They slopped it on, and it was all over my sides in the To Go box. I had South Western Mac & Cheese and rice as my side. The mac & cheese was placed in a Styrofoam bowl with a lid inside the To Go container with the tenders, it was covered in Honey-Chipotle sauce! The rice was not placed in a separate container, it was just thrown in with the gloppy tenders and the bowl of Mac & Cheese! How thoughtless and careless! Rice was all over the tenders. The Mac & Cheese had a strange sour taste, and the rice was hard and flavorless. The other person had the Rack of ribs and about six French fries as her side. She now calls them Baby-Back Bones! We also tried the onion strings. I loved them, but they were greasy. Lastly, we had the Fajita Trio. The Fajita shells were white and doughy. There were four small slices of steak, not even enough for one fajita. There were six strips of plain tasting chicken, and about nine of the shrimpiest tasting shrimp I have ever had. *Shudders at the memory.* They put in enough so-called grilled onions and bell peppers for TWENTY fajitas, instead of just three puny ones. Did I mention they give you a container of cheese that wouldn't cover your finger, let alone three fajita? It was a total waste of cash. The order would have been like $45, but it was only $23 because of the gifts cards, it wasn't even worth that much. I will never eat at this chain again, not even for free. read more

Horrible. Completely and utterly horrible. First off, we call in our order 30 mins before pick up. We run our errands and then go to pick it up. I walk in, tell them my name and ask for my order. As it happens, they never put our order in. So I have to reorder it and wait. I do. Out comes my order and i take it home. Now for the meal. I got the steak fajita meal. It's 79 cents worth of 'steak' on 3 dollars worth of onions and a side of what looks like something they scraped off of a counter somewhere all for a total of 14 bucks. Its crap food that is a total slap in the face to anyone who's ever had real mexican food. If you're that hungry, eat the gum on the bottom of your shoe because you'll probably enjoy it a lot more. I'm not a chain restaurant fan, but I received a gift card to use, so figured I'd grab early dinner here one Sunday after being away all weekend. The star is for the food. As far as these places go, Chili's is the most respectable of the AppleBees/Friday's/sports bar-meets-casual dining type places. The food was good. Fresh, hot, tasty etc. The service was terrible. TERRIBLE. Server was so short with us and had kind of an attitude. She was not friendly and did not check on us at all. Had to request assistance from another server to get drink refills, our appetizers cleared, and some salsa for the quesadilla. She never checked on us at all. There are stupid game controllers on the table if you want to play games. (Because we're not already bad enough with being on our phones all the time!) I moved the controller off the table, because it was taking up valuable real estate that was meant for our chips and salsa, so apparently because I moved it, there was a charge on the bill for $1.99, which the server said had to ask a manager to remove. I had to wait extra time for this. I just don't get why this woman is a server. She clearly hates people and her job. Definitely will give any future Chilis gift cards away.... read more

Went on July 4th for lunch. Told me it was a 10-15 mins wait for dine in and I agreed to stay , got sat down and waited literally 46 mins for a server to come take my order. Only thing I had was my menu they gave me. The rest of the time the servers were walking around. I walked out once I saw a family sit down and get taken their order 5 mins within them sitting down. Usually when I come here, the service is really bad. My orders are almost always messed up and the service is horrible. This weekend, I upped the star. When we finally got called in for our table, the manager was upset that it was not cleaned off in time for us to sit down, so he got on the radio and called someone in to clean off our table. I'm glad he was very attentive. The new menu design looks great! The margaritas were delicious and our food was awesome. (even though I didn't eat the beans and rice, not a fan and it occured to me after the fact I could've switched it out) My only gripe was we didn't get much time to enjoy our appetizer because it came late and then our food arrived shortly after so we had to take the appetizer home. I would give zero stars if i could. Do not waste your time going here. I came in for a Sunday meal with my family. First, the bathrooms are filthy! Floors are slippery and the toilets had gunk all over especially on the floor. I think gas station bathrooms are cleaner. Also, all of the workers either had bad attitudes or were standing in a group talking. Our waitress was choosing favorites between the two other tables next to us. My boyfriend had made his way to the bathroom and there was a pad wrapper on the floor not to mention a hair comb was on the floor next to us for over an hour. Our waitress took so long to bring our meal because she was too busy talking to the table behind us, not paying attention of course. Our trays were building up on the table and our waitress would walk pass and stare at them and when we asked if she could remove she goes "oh our bus boys always clean up the tables" the only thing i saw the busboys do were complaining about cleaning tables. If you don't like the job profession you are in then why work there? And we waited more than 45 min for a bill when the restaurant was not even busy. We immediately contacted the manager and she had the worst attitude and said "thank you for the feedback" instead of getting someone to start cleaning. Worst experience i've ever had. It's been one year since my original review of this Chili's, I thought they'd have the time to get it right. I was wrong and they got it even more wrong than before. I doubt this location will last another year. Came in for burgers around lunch time during the week. AWFUL service, and the burgers had A TON of salt. We complained that it was too salty and they were snooty and stated that if we didn't want it salty, we should have requested no salt. EXCUSE ME, but pouring a whole can of Morton into a beef patty is a sad excuse for spice! Now shove that thumb back up your ass and play with your hemmorrhoids you assclots! So on a day that was supposed to be a great celebration (a graduation), ended with a sour taste in my mouth, literally. ​My spouse and mother in law decided to keep it simple. It was already a long day. All we wanted was a good meal in a clean environment. Not much to ask for right? Wrong. The person that seated us was lack luster in his welcoming skills. First we were seated in the bar area. If you saw our group, with our elderly mother, common sense would have said, seat them somewhere in the main dining room. The table and seats were barely clean. Our waiter was worse. More times than not, he along with the other workers were grouped together socializing. We needed napkins, and had to wait an extremely long time before he returned before receiving them. I ordered a simple burger and fries. The bread was dry. The fries taste as if they were baked in an oven. I wanted ketchup to drown out the lack of flavor. Our waiter was no where to be found.So I ended up crawling across another table to grab a bottle. There was no steak sauce on the table or offered with my spouses steak, and there were no pop refills. Two other customers that left before us seemed unhappy about the same waiter and that vibe in the atmosphere could be felt. The nacho chips were not bottomless, as we never received a refill. We waited forever for our bill as our waiter was again socializing (until it appeared someone from management staff came out and they disbursed). We received the check with a pen that did not work. Our experience tonight was very disappointing. Instead of bringing out all three meals at once, they first sent out my son's chicken tenders without the fries, then came back five or more minutes later with my husband's meal, then came back with my sons fries, then 15-20 minutes later came with my steak. We were never asked how our food was/if we needed anything, we were never given refills on water/drinks, and I had to ask twice just to get some napkins. The second time I asked was because my son spilled ranch on himself and it still took our waitress almost five minutes to bring us napkins. (It was not even remotely busy either). My husband's chicken was dry and tough, my loaded mashed potatoes were gross, and honestly, the best thing I ate was a few of my son's fries. Not planning on going back. read more

I haven't been in a Chili's in over 20+ years -- today's visit strength that decision

My boyfriend comes here pretty often and today was my first time finally coming with. The menu is pretty impressive - I feel like you can come in craving anything and find it on the menu! We started off with the standard chips and salsa, our friends got the same, but theirs with guac. The chips were nice and fresh but the salsa was a little watery. For me, a good salsa should be thick enough to stick to the chip if you just dip it in, but this slid right off, forcing you to scoop it. Still, it had decent flavor to it. I didn't try the guac but it looked really, really fresh. For the meal I had the new Spicy Pasilla Chile Chicken with steamed broccoli and the quinoa and wheat berry blend. Definitely worth coming back for! Everything had so much flavor and was perfectly cooked. I stole a few bites of my boyfriends southwest Mac and cheese and I can't believe how good that was. It was only a side, but I'd totally come and order 5 of those as my meal. We shared the molten lava cake dessert and I don't think we left a single crumb! The cake was so warm and still kind of gooey with a chocolate syrup center. The vanilla ice cream had a hardened chocolate shell over it and just - wow. Yum! Service was...okay. I noticed right away though that our server seemed to have 1/4 of the restaurant, which for a normal Monday morning probably would've been fine, but with today being President's Day, it was pretty busy. I definitely don't blame the server for not having a chance to check on us, that's the result of poor management. Time-- (since this past summer, once or twice a month) we come here and it takes between 15-20 minutes for anyone to say hello to you, or say they'll be right with you, or grab a drink order. I have been sitting at my booth for approximately 15 minutes or so and no one came to my table of 5 after sitting us. On top of waiting 45 minutes to an hour when there was no one in the facility. This location has to do a lot better with letting their employees know who they are serving and work on sitting people in a store which has limited people in it but ample sitting area. Even for it being COVID there was more than enough room and tables to sit people not tell everyone 45 minutes to an hour. BEWARE: music can be a little loud and talking may become screaming, its not a club! The bar is phenomenal some of the custom drinks are great and margaritas never fail me. The menu is very easy to understand for those who stick to what they know. There are a variety of selections so there's bound to be something to choose from. Once upon a time I really enjoyed hanging out at Chili's. I haven't been in awhile so we decided to stop in for a few drinks & appetizers. We ordered Bloody Mary's & Margaritas and the drinks were all subpar. I'm hoping that it was b/c they were at a discounted rate but moving on. The appetizers we chose were the Southwestern egg rolls, buffalo wings & cheese balls again...meh...the service was...nothing worth mentioning & therefore we ended our venture early, deciding that drinks in the house with DiGiorno was a better way to blow $$ than to continue indulging in a chain that lost it spunk long ago & couldn't have cared less. read more

Chili's did a great job honoring the $3.13 Presidente Margaritas for their birthday on 3-13-18. However, the margarita was a bit weak compared to normal and the bartender waaaay over salted the glass so the salt fell into my margarita and my first glass was really gross and salty. The server appeared to have a chip on her shoulder our entire dinner. The appetizers were hot and tasty! The entree was room temperature and bland. I would probably go back but to another location, sit at a table in the bar area and only have an appetizer and drink. read more
