I've now visited this place about half a dozen times since it openned a few months ago and feel I know it pretty well. First the good news, the decor is modern and fresh and they have 2-for-1 drinks day and night. With brick and lots of windows throughout, it's a great place to go for hanging out with friends. Unfortunately the only food item I found that was good on the menu was the burger. They put the burger on a nice fresh sesame/poppy seed bun. The chicken strips and onion rings are breaded far too much. The steak tastes chalky. The ribs were tough and plain. Other than the burger, the prices are very high on their standard menu. Most entreés are $15+ The service can be terrible at times. Once the server messed up our orders and drinks and not one apology. Applebees just down the street is much better. read more

We got chili's to go tonight, if I could rate it less than a 1 I would. The food was inedible. Both my husband and I had chicken crispers, they were rubbery/undercooked and honestly tasted like they were cooked in the microwave. We had chips and salsa as an appetizer the chips were so salty we couldn't eat them and threw them out along with the chicken. I had some pretty low expectations, being that this is a chain restaurant, but it was actually not bad. The service was pretty good, with our food coming on time, and the server filling up our waters before we could finish them. The chef also came around the restaurant to ask how everyone's meal was. It was a nice touch. The food was what you would expect. We had some meal deal that included two entrees and an appetizer for $20, which was pretty great. We had the chicken tacos and shrimp tacos. The chicken tacos were okay, and were covered with sliced up tortilla chips, which was weird. The shrimp tacos were breaded and cooked just right. They came with a honey garlic sauce that seemed out of place. Our appetizer was really light and crispy tortilla chips with a fresh pico de gallo and a grilled corn guacamole, which had a bit of a bitter taste, but was otherwise good. They also had a two for one draft beer deal, with beers at $5 a pint, but we couldn't partake since we were driving home that night. I might go back again just for a quick snack and a beer. Chili's in Vaughn, Ontario (Canada) was a disappointment. My girlfriend loves eating here when she comes shopping at the nearby outlets. I visited this restaurant twice and the food on both occasions was delicious. On our first visit we saw this small touch screen device on our table and started to play games while we waited for our food. We did not know and we're not told that there was a fee to play games. The fee was added to our final tab. I won't complain over $2 but a heads up from the staff would have been nice. In light of this, we used this small machine to pay our food without even telling our waitress, it had a swipe option for my credit card which was very convenient. On our second visit, we were told about the game price before sitting down. We had a great waitress and the food were both great. Always passed by this resto when I cross the border to go to the outlets to shop but I never had a chance to try it. Finally did! We came on a Sunday for brunch and it wasn't that busy. We got seated quickly in a booth in the bar area. I really liked the tiles they used for the table, it looked nice. Since it was our first time there it took us forever to decide what we wanted to order. On Sundays they had a $5 special which was 11 pieces of boneless chicken bites or 6-7 wings. It was pretty cheap so we got 2 servings of that with honey chipotle sauce. They used chicken breast for the pieces and the batter was made perfectly for these boneless bites. The honey chipotle sauce was really good too. A little sweet, little sour with a slight hint of spice. I originally wanted a burger but I still wasn't too hungry and wouldn't be able to finish so I got the 3 split appetizer to try which was about the same price as a burger. Of the 3, I got chicken crispers, Mexican spring rolls and burger sliders. The chicken crisper tastes like the boneless bites except chicken tender format. Burger sliders, like your normal burger but smaller. Mexican spring rolls had beans and salsa in it. I actually liked this the most. Was something unusual and new for us and it was flavourful. There were 3 dipping sauces (idk what they were and what you were supposed to dip what with) so I mixed and matched everything. All good! My boyfriend got the fajita mix which was a sizzling plate with veggies, rice, beans, steak slices, chicken slices, and shrimp along with the fajita sides and salsa. That dish was HUGE and he couldn't finish it. As for service, it's a little slow but we had a lot of time that day that we didn't mind. IF you LOVE: Chipped glass, COLD food, remade food with hair THIS is the location for YOU!! Felt bad for our waitress that had to deal with these issues from the bartender and kitchen until she decided it was better to seat new customers before getting me a fork so I could enjoy my 2nd try at hot food. The ONLY 2 things that made our meal ok was the warm chips and salsa the waitress brought while we again waited and hoped for hot food and the manager took off the price of the chicken tacos sprinkled with hair, plus half off my "spicy" shrimp tacos and gave my daughter a piece of cheesecake to take home in a bag tipped sideways as he handed it to her. I had said I would never go back to Chili's three and a half years ago when I was served cold food twice, but at a different location. The only reason we went is because I had a balance on a gift card from that previous visit 3 years ago. Needless to say, we will NEVER set foot in a Chili's again. May 09, 2019 Today,my wife and I shared a Trio platter (2 Big Mouth Bites, 4 Southwest Rolls & Crispy Chicken Crispers). The chicken used for the Crispy Chicken tasted like the kitchen was using previously frozen chicken breast that has a unique unusual taste, unlike real fresh, not previously frozen chicken. When you bit into it, it was greasy and had an odd consistency that made you wish it never got into your mouth. The waitress was very congenial but also dropped the ball by not following a request to not have cheese on one of the burgers. This is the only Chilis of many that we have dined at, that has failed to provide quality & consistency as far as their entrees. read more

I haven't been ignored so much...not even by my wife! I have been to this restaurant twice and was ignored both times. The first time, we had to call the manager who apologized profusely and attended to us personally. Thanks to this and the urging of my children, I went back a second time. I had no expectations but I think they could have done a million things better. I had an awful experience the second time. This time was absolutely worse. I was seated very promptly and got the children's menus quickly but no one bothered to tell us that the adult menus were on the tables. We then had to wait 20 minutes before WE had to approach the hostess who seated us to advise her that no one had come to us. Shortly afterwards, a waitress came and advised us that she thought the other waitress was seeing to us and vice versa. Being put off by being ignored, we tried to bring this to the attention of the manager on duty like last time BUT he was avoiding us. He was the same manager from last time, and he had better things to do than attend to his customers. No specials were explained, had we known, we would have changed what we ordered. On the way out, we noticed that there was trash on a stool that no one bothered to clean up. We probably won't go to one of your restaurants again. I used to go to Chili's alot! It's been years since my last visit. I got the Ultimate Bacon Burger w/ fries which was pretty good. Chili's was the first place about 6-7 years ago where I 1st had the loaded fries with bacon cheese and jalapeño. Today, not as good as I remembered. We just had our first experience ordering from Chili's on Military Road in Niagara Falls using the DoorDash app. While DoorDash seemed to be an excellent service the meal from Chili's was absolutely the worst meal I've had in a long time. My Boneless Chicken Wings were more like eating Boneless Rocks from my driveway. The Queso was,, well I'm not sure what it was. I posted a picture with this review showing the Queso I received and a picture from their website showing the Queso I should have received. I also posted a picture of the Boneless Wings they sent that were not only burnt but hard as a rock and as cold as a winters night. And add to all of this everything was cold. DoorDash evidently follows up with its customers to see if you were happy not only with their service but the food itself. I complain that the meal was terrible so terrible we tossed it in the trash. To DoorDash's credit they immediately issued me a 20 dollar credit but it should be Chili's making it right. Stopped by for a late lunch after visiting Niagara Falls. We arrived before 4:00pm and took advantage of the $7.00 meal deals. We had a double burger and a bowl of chili. My friend had chicken quesadillas with a house salad. As usual there was way too much food (a good thing) and we brought some home for later. This was my first time trying the double burger and it did not disappoint. It was loaded with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, and mustard. Moist and juicy despite being cooked well done at my request. Two meals, chips and salsa, and water $14.00 plus tax. You can't beat the value. The service at this location was quick. read more

Came here for dinner tonight. We arrived at 7.15pm and lots of diners were beginning to leave. The food that we ordered was quite good. We got onion rings, chilli, steak, fajitas and baby back ribs. The food was all hot and delicious. There's an interactive screen on each table that takes orders and you can pay the bill on it too. Place doesn't have wifi but the kids can play games at the table on the interactive screen. Service was adequate. They have some specials on too. Today was a whole rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and broccoli for only $13,99. Would definitely come back again and would recommend eating here, if shopping at the nearby shopping malls. OK, I know this is a lame choice, and if i see (not read) ONE MORE Mighty Taco review I'm going to launch my lap top. I work in sunny Niagara Falls, N.Y., and good lunch spots are limited. Chili's has the 2 entree's and an app. for $20.00. It's waaay too much food, but a great deal & I always leave with a doggy bag for 1 out of 4 kidlets. We usually sidle up to the bar and torture Sarah, and she'll end up giving us one on the house. Today we again did the 2 for $20. Our mozz. stix. (perfect, lightly breaded, HOT and not greasy) came out in less than 5 minutes with lunch to follow about 10 minutes later. I ordered chicken tacos that are accompanied by rice and black beans. Everything was delicious and served hot. The soft taco shells had just the right amount of crispiness. I don't know what the hell they do to the rice but it's effing great. I don't know why I tempt fate at chains like this. They are not good. I agree with the reviewer who said he was ignored. We walked in and the manager was standing there talking to someone. When there was a break in the convo, there was no "hi folks, we'll be right with you" we were just ignored. Finally a waitress came up and sat us. She was pleasant, thank goodness. We ordered lunch combos. I got chicken enchilada soup and quesadillas. The soup was soooooooo salty and I've been burping it's taste all day. The quesadilla was meh. Ranch dressing had a small hair in it. Picked it out, and then I was done eating. I was just left with a bad taste in my mouth. I tasted the chili and it was potent. Too strong of a taste and SALTY. The only saving grace of the meal was the tostadas and salsa. I LOVE the thin and crispy chips. Otherwise, I just need to wipe this chain out of my brain. Went to Chill for my first time. My wife has been numerous times and loves it. Went to the Military rd location in Ni Falls US. The restaurant was not very busy and we were greeted and promptly seated. The red bench seat I had was full of greasy fingerprints and the table, while it had been wiped, was not wiped well. I asked for a coffee to start and water and had to ask again ten minutes later before the waitress brought it. I asked if there was free coffee refills and asked for that. Several minutes later we had to ask again before it arrived...with no cream. We asked for cream and had to ask a second time. Again the place was not busy.....not sure why it took the waitress to be asked more than once. By the time she came with cream my coffee was cold. I ordered the $8 double burger and it was good. The fries were not the best but those are a personal preference. My wife ordered Quesada and she liked them. Good value overall just lacking in good service. Had the place been super busy I may not have complained. Hope this helps. read more

Being a large chain I'm of the opinion that you either like the food or not, as there is never much variance between one store and another. So that being said, when I go to a large chain I focus mostly on how good or bad the service is. On Wednesday 1/13/16 I visited this location with my son. I was very happy with how pleasant the server was that we had, and all the wait staff for that matter were wonderful. My husband and I had dinner this evening at the Niagara Falls NY CHILI's on Military Rd. We ordered off the 2 for $ 22 menu. I ordered the Cajun pasta that came with chicken; my husband the chicken fajitas. My chicken was very tough. My husband's moist, I immediately told our server who said the "manager" would be by. Maybe 10 minutes later she came . She said the chicken for the pasta dish was baked and that was why it was tough. The fajitas were stir fried and do moister. I explained I could not eat the chicken as it was too tough. She grabbed our plates, said "sorry you didn't like your dinner" and walked away. I was not trying to get a free meal. I guess I was supposed to eat the tough chicken. I pulled the chicken off and took the pasta home. The manager was abrupt and unprofessional. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN MUCH LESS RECOMMEND IT. We paid our bill in full leaving angry and extremely unhappy not with the server but the manager who made no attempt to appease. Reducing our bill is what should have been done. Also they were supposed to sweep under our table that had garbage and crumbs under and in front of table and this was never done. What a waste of money! read more

Very disappointing visit -server was so slow to come by, slow to take orders, food slow to come out , drinks slow to be delivered everything was either like warm or had been sitting so long-food crusts had developed. We flagged down the manager finally after waiting 15 minutes for waters for the kids. The only thing the server was fast about was bringing us the check and slow to come back to get it. Not only is this the worst Chili's I've ever been to, it's most likely the worst restaurant I've been to. Ever. I blame myself, partly because I keep going back and giving them my money despite both the food and service being terrible. In fairness to the staff, the three occasions all occurred at the bar, ordering take out. My latest visit will be my last though. The bartender was too preoccupied talking with her friend at the end of the bar to take my drink order. When I finally got my drink, the glass was only about 3/4 of the way full. Whatever, I just wanted some takeout and assumed since there were only three other people at the bar and two other tables in the bar area and they were all eating that my 3/4 of a beer would be plenty to hold me over until my food was ready. I was wrong. Almost 45 minutes for chicken tenders and nothing else. Needless to say, that beer lasted only about 25 minutes and I sat with an empty glass in front of me while the bartender conversed some more with her buddy at the end of the bar, a server or two , and some red haired fellow I assumed was the manager. The real disappointment here is that I've been to Chili's all over the country and they're typically well run. I'm also a little disappointed in myself for returning here after several bad experiences. Corporate really needs to take a look at this location. read more
