    Crispy Chicken Crispers Combo
    Danielle W.

Had a not so good experience at Chili's this past weekend We wanted to go there for the three for me menu which we heard about from our American friends It was Sunday evening and it was fairly busy Our server was not the best She took over 10 minutes to come to our table By then we were ready to order and ordered all our food Twice we had staff come to our table with food and drinks that were not ours We got our usual chips and salsa It was good but the chips were a bit on the salty side My husband got the Big Smasher combo and I got the crispy chicken crispers combo Unfortunately I believe some of the crispers were underdone as it was rubbery in the middle and my stomach was not so good the next day and throughout the days after unfortunately The experience got even worse when our server messed up our bill entirely She somehow charged us an extra chips and salsa and didn't charge a big smasher burger combo and instead a steak sirloin combo for my husband and when we questioned it she said "Oh that's how it's charged" She definitely wasn't the best because there were two tables nearby us who were having issues with their orders that she was serving We paid it and left but still didn't agree with the receipt after we researched the three for me and the menu prices We ended up going back the next day and speaking to the manager who realized the mistake and took care of the bill which we would like to thank him for...not many would do this but he made up for our server's mistake which is the reason why I'm giving an extra star in which would have been a two-star rating This wasn't my best experience here at Chili's unfortunately ...but the manager here I would like to thank for his service and helpfulness to fixing our problem

Wanted to share a good and bad experience while recently visiting Chili's We decided to go there for the 3 for Me menu while on a cross border shopping trip I'm going to start with the bad and it was more so the service this night First it took quite a bit for our server to attend to our table Counted at least 10-15 minutes When she finally got to our table we put our order in.... While we waited another server came to our table with food which was clearly the wrong order Got our chips and salsa Good as usual though the chips were on the saltier side Got our meals.... Burger was great Wife enjoyed the tenders Then we randomly got two waters dropped at our table which I believe were for another table clearly because we heard the girl that came with the waters ask our server who were these for and we heard say just give it to this table We took them regardless..... Then when it came to our bill.....our bill came and it was completely wrong There was a sirloin steak meal listed and they charged another chips and salsa on our bill....my burger was nowhere to be found and when we questioned this to our server she said oh that's how it's charged on the menu.....we didn't think this was correct and we kind of already knew she was having a bad night given that the table across from us and behind us were having issues with her service as we overheard them bringing up issues....so we paid it .... When we discussed this with an American friend of ours who's had the 3 for Me menu they said that what was charged was incorrect and to go back to the restaurant to discuss this with the manager....we even checked online and confirmed the pricing was wrong We went the next day and want to commend the manager ...I believe his name was Tyler...we showed him the bill and our pics of our food last night and he confirmed that the bill was done incorrectly....he took care of the situation for us and I want to thank him for this cause some restaurants in these cases wouldn't ....high marks on this I hope the server gets coached of this situation and it was just an off night for her..... We will still come back to Chili's for the food and the deal....

5/15/22 Ordered for curbside. Order was a few minutes past the scheduled pickup time but not a big deal. Tortilla chips 10/10. Idk if these come out of a bag or they hand make them, but they are one of my favorite chips. I love how thin they are. Sometimes they have too much salt on them but today they were perfect. White spinach queso 9/10. Absolutely love this queso. I love that it comes with pico on the top as well as guacamole. The guacamole today tasted a little funky though, that's why my rating is a 9 and not a 10. The salsa was also a little different than normal, it was too spicy for me to eat and also very salty today. Ranchero Chicken Tacos 9/10. Tacos were on a 6" shell, good size and decent portion together. I feel like normally they're a little more full than they were today, but they were still good and all the ingredients were on them. Chicken was seasoned well and mostly cooked well, I did get a couple bites with hard pieces of chicken in it. There was a ton of shredded cheese on top, which is awesome because I love cheese. I asked for extra jalapeño aioli too, because i love the flavor (it's not spicy), and I do believe they did put a little extra on it. For my sides I got: Loaded mashed potatoes 7/10. not terrible, I wish the toppings were mixed into the potatoes more instead of on the top, but you could taste the flavors throughout. Corn on the cob: i actually didn't eat this because I was so full, but it was a nice vibrant yellow. I think maybe it was steamed and just plain. No butter, salt, or other seasonings.

Service was excellent, brilliant young man served me and my wife. However, they make you use those silly, and quite frankly, ridiculous looking tablets to pay for our meal. Upon inserting my big, veiny, credit card, the terminal busted all over me with a prompt telling me the transaction could not go through. Try after try yielded no results. We had to wait an extra FIVE minutes until our server came back to manually pay for the bill. That is time I could've spent in the bathroom, which is my safe space.

Good place to grab some last minute food. Ordered the 3 for me with a dip trio to start and the main plate was the old timer burger. Foods were good for some last minute plan.

I'm a man of simple pleasures (as evidenced by my many chain restaurant reviews), but I can tell the difference between mediocrity and greatness. I would never compare Chili's and the like to top end restaurants like Alinea in Chicago. My reviews take this into account otherwise no chain would ever receive greater than 3 stars which is ridiculous. I just felt the need to explain this as I see many other reviewers don't do this. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't think that does these places justice. Anyway, food, pricing, and service; my main three attributes that pretty much determine my ratings. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. We ordered the nachos which usually can be a pile of hot mess, but each chip here was carefully prepared, plated, and topped with the same amount of cheese and toppings. Nachos always vary significantly even from one table to the next let alone different days so this was nice. They weren't the greatest since they were a bit cold and the cheese sort of hardened and not enough toppings to my liking but I like the idea. I ordered the Alex Santa Fe Burger with a veggie patty and upgraded the fries to the loaded fries minus the bacon for main. Very tasty and would highly recommend it even if you eat meat (like I do). Each dish was around $10 and we had a free kid's meal coupon that we used to take away. Less than $30 for a simple evening out with a nice snack to share later in the evening. It wasn't fancy or anything too special, but if you want to go out and be served and have a cheap meal then a place like Chili's is a place you should consider.

    That's a lot of margarita for $5
    Aly W.

I may be a chain snob, but Chili's is one of my guilty pleasures. Friday's and Applebees have never compared. Right now my favorite is a burger with cheddar, avocado, honey chipotle sauce, and jalapeno aioli. Messy, but so good. I'm also partial to fries with their inimitable honey mustard. They have a sandwich similar to the grilled chicken and avocado club at the Cheesecake Factory, but I haven't tried it yet to see how it compares. We get consistently excellent service at this location, and my burger is always cooked medium rare as ordered. They have a monthly $5 specialty margarita, but I especially love the blue margarita because it makes me think of the ocean.

    Meat sauce... Aka chili
    Linda M.

Ordered medium secret sauce burger (carmelized onions, lettuce, secret sauce, cheese) with chili instead of fries. (First weird thing about this place, one person takes your order, one brings out the food, and there's no relationship with one server to tip.). Order comes out as a burnt burger with pickles, cheese, and chili, with a side of fries. That's no where on the menu. Waitress didn't come over for 10 min so I got someone up front to swap it out. Next order comes with tomatoes instead of the carmelized onions. Why is it so hard to match a menu item? I wasn't asking for hold this, extra this, I just wanted the normal item. Chili has no beans in it, it's just saucy ground beef. And cold. Bathrooms were missing signs, locks, and toilet paper covers.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint. If you're looking for an American restaurant near Niagara Falls, this is definitely worth trying. We ended the meal with a delicious dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a great experience.

Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The meal always starts with fresh baked bread service that is accompanied by butter, house pickles and either a hummus or garlic confit (in my experience). My mom is gluten free so she was bought her own dish with focaccia and a roll. She was over the moon about that and really enjoyed the focaccia. We all enjoyed every bit of our meal which included our choice if an appetizer, main dish and dessert from a prix fixe menu for $40. Some of our choices included charcuterie, arugula salad, tamarind shrimp curry, salmon and lemon meringue cheesecake. Assorted Bread: I'm not a bread person, but I enjoyed their bread. The standard roll was good, the Roll with (dill?) was good, and the one infused with brisket was also good. The dips/snacks that came with the bread were perfect complements to the bread. The pickles were confusing, but I enjoyed them on their own. Chef's salad: A good salad is underrated, and their salad was a case of basic done right. I enjoyed the blue cheese the most, since I haven't had it in a salad in a long time. It was a good mix of softer textures provided by the apple, cheese, and greens, while providing crunch via the nuts. Arayes: I'm expecting a crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside pita. I wanted a juicy and flavorful lamb, and I wanted the tahini + tzatziki sauces to be good. I got all that and was pleased. Shrimp Scampi: I was a bit disappointed by the portion size, but I had to remind myself that the lunch special was $16 and I had already gotten bread and a nice appetizer. The shrimps were big, and the flavors were light. I liked the fact that the dish wasn't oily. Some people might find it dry, but I like it. Jagerschnitzel: This was the best bite of the meal, and I regret not ordering it. The pork cutlet was very good, and the gravy helped improve the dynamics of the flavor. I've never had caraway spaetzle, but I must say that I enjoyed it, and the red cabbage didn't taste like cabbage, and it almost felt like a red spaetzle. It's a beautiful dish visually, and an even better dish when consumed. Dessert: I..... was not a fan. I thought it was too sweet. My companions liked it though. Ambiance: I felt very underdressed. The establishment definitely gave a white tablecloth environment where diners were pressured to buy a bottle of wine. I had to remind myself that it's a school, so the students needed to learn a certain standard. A standard that I could see. It might be better if there was music, but I'm not gonna complain about it. Service: Excellent. I could tell our wait staff was nervous. Who wouldn't be? I'm sure he'll do fine in the future. It would've been nice if our food arrived a bit faster, but I understood the need for pacing in these course menus.

My favorite part of dinner was the cocktail; if I hadn't been designated driver I would have enjoyed having this. I can't remember which one it was, but it was my kind of cocktail; very fruity, somewhat sweet. Not fancy-schmancy but tasting very good. The onion rings were the breaded kind rather than the crispy bread crumb kind, they were fine but not standout. The wings... eh. I am a big fan of Plucker's Dr. Pepper BBQ wings but I didn't love these. The char taste was actually overpowering and I expected a bit more sweet to the sauce than it had. The hot honey was also charry and not super sweet. It was all fine, but not something I would crave. The place has a cute casual ambience and our food came out fast, there wasn't a crowd though on the weeknight we were there. I'd come either to drink or because friends really wanted to but otherwise I probably wouldn't request it.
