My husband, two children, and I just stopped at this Chili's and ended up leaving when the 3 hostesses refused to let us sit in one of the 12+ open booths. The reason for their refusal was because they didn't have a server for any of the open booths. There was an open booth 3-4 feet away and directly across the aisle from the table where they wanted us to sit. It certainly could not have been any more difficult for the server assigned to our table to serve us at the booth. read more

I was worried that with the new tablet things at each table there would be less interaction with the actual servers. But I must say the customer service was just as good as it has always been! Plus it is nice to be able to pay your bill whenever you are ready. read more

I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant. This was my first chili's experience. We started off with fried pickles and fried asparagus. Both were wonderful, a great way to start off the meal, We had to wait 30 mins for a table and after ordering it took about an hour for the food to reach the table. I remember the old commercials with the jingle praising the baby back ribs so I thought that's what I would try. Lackluster to say the least. They do not live up to the hype. Chili's is always a favorite in our house. From the chips & salsa/queso to the salads, burgers, ribs, drinks and desserts, there is something everyone likes. The extensive kids menu allows my son to enjoy something every time, though he sticks with the pizza or quesadilla. =) read more

Especially when the one still open has the greatest amount of variety, in the food being offered! Horrible restaurant. Food came out on a plate so dirty that I should have called the Health Department. Server seemed miffed that I expected my food served on something that had been washed. Brought me the same burger (cold) 10 minutes later on a clean plate. Manager didn't seem to care. Then they tried to charge me for two burgers. Don't eat here. I had eaten here a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised that it was really good. So, last night I had the kids pick out what they wanted and did an online order. The positive is that it was ready on time. The negatives are: the grilled asparagus was literally pulled out of the fridge and thrown in a container with three smashed tomatoes. The "alfredo" sauce was on the pasta for so long that it was non-existent. The triple platter appetizer had soggy fried pickles (completely inedible) , and two southwestern eggrolls that were okay, and two sliders that were heavily charred. When I had dined in, there were 3 sliders on the plate. On the kids order of two sliders and fries, the fries were old and cold and again charred burgers. Please keep in mind that we ate these within minutes of picking up the order. The chicken and waffles was fair but the waffles were old and chewy. Such a shame to have such a great location and menu to only serve it all WRONG! Sadly over half of this was trashed. This is for the one at The Avenue on Medical Center Parkway. read more

I love spicy foods and Chili's definitely brings that to home for me! I have yet to try one meal that I did not like. Chili's also offers a fun easy-going atmosphere that I love being in. Chili's is the first place I've seen in the Boro with the tablets at your table. Cool concept but of course it costs to play games (.99 though so not breaking the bank). It was very busy the night we went so the wait was about 20 minutes. There is hardly any room to wait in the lobby itself and they do not utilize a microphone or paging system, just a host calling out people's names. Service was pretty good, I've always appreciated that you get two servers for your table. Our main server, Stephen, was pretty attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. My boyfriend and I both got the fajitas on the 2 for $20 menu. Our appetizer was the cheese fries and they never disappoint! The chicken and pork fajitas were okay. My main complaint is the fact we were sitting at a smaller two top table and once we got our food there was no room at all to move anything. We had two plates, the plates of fajitas, two separate stands for the "fixings", our drinks plus the tablet I mentioned previously. I feel it could have been organized a little bit better but it is what it is. Overall it was a decent experience, you are able to pay at the table using the tablet so we didn't have to wait for the servers to get back around to us. It's not a restaurant I would go out of my way to visit but it's much better than its sister location on Broad street. read more
