We be Went to Chili's for my grandson's birthday. It was 5 of us. After a 15 minute wait, a group of 4 came in and was seated immediately. Just left is setting there. I was later told that because it was only 4. To me it didn't matter. It would have been nice to tell is since we had been waiting so long. Been going to Chili's since it's been here mostly for the El Presidente margaritas! Last night was the first time we had terrible margaritas could not taste any alcohol in them & usually they are strong & also the flavor was totally watered down @ $9.50 each very disappointing. Love the Sante Fe chicken salad asked for the dressings on the side & only got one on the side sante fe sauce was already poured all over. It should be standard on the side as some people only eat half & want to take the rest home but not if it's already drenched in dressing. My wife and I decided to go to the Mount Pleasant Chili's for our 35th anniversary. I know you'd think that I would spring for some hoity toity place for such an occasion, but we've been disappointed with most fancy places in the area. We knew the menu and knew that we could get what we wanted and it would be great food. I don't think that we have ever been as happy with a dining experience as we had last night. I had flowers delivered, which the host and staff handled like experts. Casey our server was very sweet and extremely attentive to us. She was a wonderful addition to our experience. Then to top it off the manager, I wish I got his name, surprised us by comping our meal. This restaurant will always be our special and regular go to place from now on. read more

If you go to other Chili's often you are going to be disappointed. This Chili does not follow the same standard as the others. Our food was bland and it wasn't hot. My husband's soup was all water. There is one waiter/server and he was hustling, but he had 9 tables. The other comment I have which may be more about the town than the restaurant, but this place stinks, it smells like the sewer backed up. I would give one star but the server was nice. read more

We have been to this Chilis several times and every time that we have been something and usually it is the service and or the food is bad. Today we were there and it took the waitress several minutes before she took our order for water and when the water was received the water had black specs in it. The waitress after serving the water never came back. She kept passing by our table several times but never taking our order and she goes and starts taking the order of customers that came in after we were already seated. my sliders had to be re-cooked three times the first two times it was still pink in the middle, but the manager Jessica went above and beyond to make our experience good she also went back the third time and cooked my sliders herself to make sure that they were done it five stars because the service we received was amazing. read more

So burnt out on Chilis! Honestly what out all the time and Where we live this is one of the very few restaurants in the area. Sometimes food is a hit or miss on temperature and presentation. When we walked in the hostess had an attitude when we asked for a highchair for our son because she had an open table in the bar area but told us that no high chairs were allowed in there. She then told us we'd have to wait about 20 min and told us we had to wait in our car due to Covid (which I understand). As soon as we got back to our car, like a minute later, and sat down I got a text that our table was ready. When we got in the table we were put at was in the bar area with a highchair. I went to wipe it down with some antibacterial wipes and it was so sticky and dirty, definitely had NOT been cleaned properly in a while. The floor was so Dirty! There was just trash all over it, I mean even one of those floss/toothpicks. Table was sticky! I used my own antibacterial wipes to clean everything down. We ordered our drinks and appetizer, then about 10 minutes later ordered our food. Our appetizer came out about 15 min later, followed by our food like 3 minutes later. Didn't give us much time to enjoy the appetizer, but it was good. Food was ok, my husbands burger bites were definitely over well done, hard to chew. I ordered the bbq plate with brisket and chicken tenders. Meat was ok but corn had a weird taste, at the time I thought it was all the seasoning on it. So I've always had the Chili's app but hardly have ever used it, but I remembered to check it this time and I had a free dessert with purchase of entree. I showed my waitress and she said ok, and I ordered a slice of cheesecake Togo. She brought us our cake, some Togo boxes for our leftovers and one of those table tablets with our check on it. She handed me the tablet and hit the "Pay in Full button." Trusting her (stupid me) I went ahead and paid, and had the receipt emailed to me. We got up and walked out, noticing a lot of people waiting in the front area where we were told due to Covid we couldn't wait. Anyway as we were driving off I pulled up my email to look at the receipt and sure enough, I didn't get my dessert free. We turned around and went back, I walked back in and showed the hostess who went to get a manger. As he came up he was clearly annoyed as well when I explained what happened and said with the tablets it's difficult to refund from them, like he didn't want to do it. He also said it takes 2-3 days for the refund. I told him I'd give it back and that I didn't want it if I had to pay for it, the only reason I got it was because I had the free reward. He finally wrote down all my info from my receipt and said he'd take care of it. Now you'd think I'd be done here, well nope... we left, ran and errand and then headed home. We live about 30 min from this Chili's and about half way my stomach started hurting so bad. I was so nauseous and having sharp pains. When I got home I ran to the bathroom and that's were I was most of the night. Something I ate must of been bad, because I haven't been able to keep anything down today. Luckily my husband and son have been ok, so it must of been my food. The 1st time we go out since Covid and this was our experience! My wife and I ate there tonight. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks and skillet queso. The margaritas were very weak including the ones that you're limited to just 2. The skillet queso looked old and they didn't give much. We ordered our food. It took around an hour to get it. Mine looked like it had been sitting out for almost that length of time. The quesadillas were dry, the corn on the cob was burnt and dry, the sausage tasted old and there was no bread or any sauce that came with it. Even though it was supposed to have some. The bartender was way over busy and took forever to get any of our orders. Which we completely understand that, but the food and service there was crap. Wouldn't recommend that place to anyone. read more

This has been by far the worst chilis I've ever been to and I've been to many. The service time was crazy. We sat for 30 minutes before even being asked for our drink order. Waitress only came back with one water instead of two and took 15 more mins to bring another one. Food all came out at once including our appetizer which was soggy wet lettuce and wilted cucumbers. The quesadillas I ordered were stale, crumbling with dry off smelling chicken. My partner got the original chicken crispers which were cooked to nearly a brick and hard to eat. When we began to ask for Togo boxes and the waitress took napkins and silverware from our table and gave them to the table next to us. This is disgusting and unsanitary. My partner asked for a box and was completely ignored. I feel sick after eating here on dirty plates and the floor being disgusting with food from a previous table. I'll never be back to this chilis with the behavior of staff ignoring us, failing to take our order within 30-45 minutes of just sitting at the table with a menu, the lack of quality control in the kitchen and just overall disgusting food practices with the plates and staff behavior. read more

I definitely agree with Marc O. The staff was not friendly, nor attentive. The smoke in this place was ridiculous even in the NON-smoking section. The restaurant was in need of some house-keeping as well. I had asked for my fish (talapia) to be cooked a little longer than usual to make it crispy when they broil it and it was actually still a little cold and NOT crispy at all. You'd think that this location, being one of the few "informal dining chains" in this town would make it an excellent place to eat. However, you'd be wrong. The service at this dump is abysmal. Bring a canteen because they can't even keep a drink filled. Even on slow days they can't get orders taken in a timely manner. God forbid you attempt to eat here on a busy day, sitting in the bar area and it takes 15 minutes to get a drink after I cleaned my own booth. Unfortunately this two bit one horse town still finds it acceptable to smoke in public places, the least chili's could do would be to attempt to clean the ashtrays, but alas the smell of stale cigarette ash permeates the room. Lucky for Chili's the Applebee's in this town is ten times worse. The bar is obviously set low for acceptable dining establishments here. Now, who's the health inspector in this area? read more

Looking at some of the reviews on here are quite old. My experience here yesterday for lunch was quite good. The restaurant is nice and clean. We were greeted by friendly staff, and our waitress was full of energy. Very attentive to our needs, and when we asked for something extra, I didn't see her disappear to return some 10 minutes later. Rather she was back within 30 seconds to a minute. The Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sandwich was without a doubt awesome! Highly recommended if you are wanting a sandwich with a bit of kick.
