Service is excellent as well as the food. The music wasn't overwhelming as in some establishments. The decor was creative. Highly recommend this restaurant in Winnsboro. Now I have to find reasons to drive to Winnsboro. read more

The food was good. Me and my husband placed our order and we got our food I happen to look at my food and notice it was greasy. I told our waitress about it she took it back but, the cooks REFUSED to remake it!! I'm a REGULAR they know my drink order and what I normally get. And, I told the lady about it! All she said was Im sorry, Did not discount it at all. I didn't eat the quesadillas because it was made wrong just the rice and beans!! Bad customer service!! read more

Wow! Very fresh wide variety of delicious dishes. Took a family of 6. Nice atmosphere to talk and visit. Waitress was great, very attentive even after several large tables came in. Staff works together nicely to seat people, fill drinks, and deliver food. read more

Peraltas Mexican Restaurant - Enchiladas Laredo with beef - Mexican Near Me - Winnsboro, Texas

Food, meh. My husband and I got beef fajitas for two, the meat was pretty good, tortillas nice and warm, rice was super dry, beans were okay. As someone from Houston, I know good queso. Theirs is not good. For some reason, every Mexican restaurant up in this area sucks at making queso. It looks like it'll taste good but somehow ends up tasting watery? Don't know how that happens. The salsa was okay, tastes like it was from a jar at the store though. Service was good, no issues there. The waitress was very nice. Ambiance? Meh, it's really bright inside and kind of threw me off but nice decor and not dirty. All in all, 3/5. If you go just for the fajitas and nothing else, you'll like it. Now I'm on a hunt to actually have good queso that actually tastes like cheese around here. read more

Went for dinner Tuesday night. Good crowd. Had to wait a while before someone came to the front to seat us. Our server was great, food was very good., and prices didn't break the bank. Next time im in the neighborhood i would go back. read more

This place is so great!! The service is very fast and friendly and the food is fresh!

Always love this place. Fast service and good food. Chips and hot sauce are great also.

Mad expensive and tacos had so much grease and our waiter never refilled our drinks or salsa

I usually really like this place but not today! We ordered take out and my nachos were horrible! I guess you have to dine in to get quality nachos, chips were soggy and very little meat. If your gonna charge $10 for nachos I kinda expect more than what I received, DONT GET THE FAJITA NACHOS TO GO. read more

Peraltas Mexican Restaurant - Supposed to be fajita nachos - Mexican Near Me - Winnsboro, Texas

Not my favorite place for Mexican food. Chips do not taste good to me. Service was better in the past. We usually opt for another Mexican food place in town. read more

Excellent chips and hot sauce. Chips are likely house made--so light and crunchy in a good way. Refried beans delicious. Lunch special enchilada plate with taco, rice and beans top notch. Would definitely eat here again when I'm the area. Service was very good. read more

Fantastic dish I never met before: guisado. GREAT rich spicy flavor. Def will get again! Also, the complimentary tortilla chips were toasted extra well, very tasty. read more

Chicken fajita tacos were great! Only thing I'd change is the store-bought tortillas. Can't believe how fast the food came out! Great prices, too. Husband ordered a lunch plate for only $8! read more

They have good food. But don't order food to go unless you like eating with your fingers. Twice now I've ordered food to go, the first time was fajitas for two, got it, took it to where a friend was working, got ready to eat, no plastic fork no napkins, nothing. I figured they just forgot the utensils. So, a couple weeks ago I ordered Taco salads, 2 of them. Including the tip paid over$30.00 for 2 salads. Salads, something you don't eat with your fingers. I had forgotten about no forks with the fajitas, it had been a couple of months. Get the salads to my friend's job site, no forks again! Not only that, but only one cup of salsa for two people to share! Talk about cheapskates! We were in the middle of nowhere with salads and nothing to eat them with! And I paid$30 for that! You'd think I'd they have the nerve to charge that much for a salad it would at least come with a 5 cent plastic fork! I won't be getting food from this place again! read more

I live in another town but visit Winnsboro every weekend. I love getting food from Peralta's... it's always hot and delicious. The employees are always friendly. A wonderful experience. read more

The Authentic Mexican Fajita Tacos were excellent! Service was great! The only thing I would change would be the salsa. It was a little too mild for me. I would spice it up a bit or at least offer a hotter version for people like me. But other than that it was great! read more

Excellent TexMex. This ranks as #2 on our Mexican food list in Texas. And if they served beer and margaritas it would be #1!! We love their enchiladas with chili con carne. Very casual, not fancy dining, but just really good food. Oh ... Their chips come to the table warm and fresh! read more

Good food and fast friendly service. The staff was very accommodating and the food was fresh and tasty even when several of our baseball families came in after a late game and it close to their closing time. They were welcoming and didn't rush anyone. Unheard attitude these days! We will visit again! read more
