Wanted to try a local chain...so picked Chili's. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER GOING TO THIS PLACE. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, the food was inedible. Shrimp tacos and Santa Fe Salad. There were exactly one shrimp in each taco....ONE. The Santa Fe Salad, which featured lettuces and grilled chicken...well, there was grilled chicken, but it was still partially frozen from the freezer. We literally had one bite eat from our entree and the waiter only said, "I guess it was cold, again, huh?" He came back and said they won't let me take anything off your bill. First and last time to ever set foot in a Chili's. I try to support local, even local chains, but the health department should shut this dysentery establishment down before it kills more people....DO NOT EVER CONSIDER GOING TO THIS PLACE. read more

Well, I have time to post this review....we have been waiting almost an hour. Even if the food turns out to be fantastic, it is NOT worth the wait! read more

great food, decent service, the vibe is always welcoming. i love coming here with family and friends.

We had okay service today food was good but our dessert was hard had to stab it almost to get it to come apart

Glad Chili's is still open for dine-in during COVID. Wait time was a little longer than normal but they were only operating at 50%. The food was absolutely delicious! read more

Can't believe all the years I've been coming here I've never had a problem or complained about their service today was just bad for them, I ordered a 6oz sirloin that comes with two sides chose broccoli and mash potatoes, got my plate and the mash potatoes were clumpy Af and it usually comes with sour cream when ordered loaded it took an hour to get the sour cream then my steak Was rare I ordered it medium well sent it back to get another one they gave me the same steak I sent back to them but cooked more that's nasty what if I had Covid I had eaten off of it ion know but it will be a while before I come back plus the waiter was rude trying to rush us out cus we had to constantly ask another waiter for stuff you should have brought napkins my drink it shouldn't take that long to get my drink and then another waiter brought it too me just rude unprofessional and they seem to not be able to handle a crowd I know the COVID has put a Strain on businesses but sometimes it the attitude of the Waiter and presentation is everything DO BETTER!!! Really one star is just generous of me read more

The food it typically good, the customer service has been above average, but I'm complete honesty, the DESERTS is where it's at! The Chocolate Molten Lava Cake will always keep you coming back for more. I will waist my calories any day for this lump of deliciousness! Lol read more

Went in last night and waitress started out "decent" we should of left after the beginning! She was like a desperate car sales person trying to upsell us. We had a coupon for free appetizer, it wasn't worth being free. We ordered entree to share, quesadillas and they were awful! Hard spots and gummy spots. We will stay away for awhile. read more

Do not bother with this place. Me and my family walked in and the greeter asked us how many. We told her 3. She stood there for a few minutes and then asked us how many again. Again we said 3. I'm assuming she was having a hard time hearing us because she had her earbuds in that was plugged into her phone. I could hear the music coming through them. She then told us it would be about a 30 minute wait. I said that's fine. As I looked around the dining area I saw a bunch of table empty and a lot of staff hanging out in the corners. Anyway our 30 minute wait turned out to be an hour and fifteen minute wait. (It was only and hour and fifteen minute wait because we left.) Can't say anything about the service. Didn't make it that far. read more

My visit was a descent visit although the bartender waited our table. I forgot her name but she was nice and did a great job. Food and atmosphere was good.. read more

Not as good as it used to be, but the southwestern egg rolls will always hit. I feel with a face lift and new menu it could be great.

Worst restaurant in Madison. Love chilis in other cities but this location cannot get their crap together. Sad it's still open and hasn't been replaced by something better or new management. read more

Ordered the 3 for $10 to go during the free delivery promotion. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

Too bad I cannot give it a zero. Daughter and I Ordered bottomless chips, soup, and salad. Took 25 minutes after seated for waitress to come. Asked for a second bowl of soup. It never came. Asked two more times over a 20 minute time frame. It never came. Finally asked for check and left. Waitress (not the bartender) had a bad attitude. If I were the manager and knew how she treated customers, I would fire her on the spot. Steer clear of the Chili's in Madison Mississippi if you want decent service, because you will not get it. They should fire the whole bunch and start over..... read more

I wouldn't bother wasting your time here. Food is average but the service is horrible. Couldn't get our order right and then when I corrected the order she told me how rude I was to her. This is a service industry and was only asking for what I ordered. I will never go to this Chili's again. Terrible Experience. read more

This restaurant is horrible. Unless you have time to waste, don't bother. It took over an hour from the time our order was placed until the entrees arrived. At that, only half my entree showed up. NEVER.COMING.HERE.AGAIN. read more

We came at 10pm and the place was dirty. Many tables without being cleaned and the employees walking around like if they didn't want to be there. This place is definitely less than a bad joint... awful!! read more

Hey guys. Look at your reviews! I agree. Just bad service. I sat at the bar while the bartender ran herself to death. She was very nice but no way could she be any good on service. She had 3 tables and the bar plus all the bar drinks for the entire dining room. Of course she won't keep up! There were two managers on staff (male and female). I only know this because they were standing in the server alley. She was playing on her phone while his hand was in his pocket just staring at the line. A server passed them and came to the bar with a hand full of food chomping away right in front of me. He looked at me and just kept eating out of his hand as he turned around and walked back to the kitchen. Managers just stood there like dear in headlights. Can you say board of health issues? Then the manager disappeared. I'm sure not to help as neither one came to help the front at all. Aren't you supposed to be doing table touches? I'm not sure why anyone would want to work there. Probably why she had to take tables in the first place. My drink sat empty for 10 min. My food took quite awhile (considering it was soup and salad). It took 20+ min. I wanted to order more but I sat there for 40 min mostly waiting. The soup and salad was good but service was just bad. Not the bartender's fault. 100% the management as they could have stepped in or scheduled appropriately. Just sad read more

Waitress was horrible. She was to busy flirting with some guy to notice us. Took over 30 mins to get food, and refills on our drinks. Food was decent. Service was not. She didn't even notice we paid and left. We sat outside few mins and she was still paying attention to same guy. Hope she got his number with how much time she spent at his table. read more

Literally half of the restaurant was empty and I was told it would STILL a 10 minute wait (for a party of 2!) Ridiculous. A very rude hostess which obviously is a direct reflection of poor management. My family and I usually enjoy coming here but will think twice Before returning. We went to a competitor two blocks away and received excellent service. Sorry not sorry, Chili's of Madison.., Another restaurant got our money tonight. read more

We had a 15min wait for a table even with half the place empty. To see your place in line you have to download Yelp. You can't get a full menu unless you scan the QR code on the card at the table. I had to clean off our table myself. What was the 15 min wait for??? read more

Food is always good, never had any issues with incorrect or poorly prepared food. Service is usually good too. Can be hit or miss with the servers though - generally a good visit with the family. We try not to go on super busy nights. read more

Terrible everything! Long wait! Won't be back 1 hr wait that turned to 2.. 45 mins on service just all around bad experience

We only wanted to eat here because we had a gift card. We walk in at 7:45pm on a Sunday night. We wait 15 mins to be seated. Okay, no big deal. It took 30 minutes before we even got our waters and the hostess was the one who gave them to us! The hostess was actually bussing tables because they were so understaffed. I only saw two waiters in the entire restaurant and people were lined up waiting to be seated. We finally left. Just do the curb side pick up if you want food here and skip dining in. Maybe the bar is better? read more

This chili's was not the best. The service was extremely slow. We waited for two hours before getting our food and once it finally came to the table it was cold. read more

The waiter never introduced himself. The food was cold. We never received our silverware. Steak was cooked incorrectly. We never received our appetizers. Our drinks were never refilled. We also never received any napkins. Overall would not recommend. read more

My visit last night started horrible but ended well. The waitress never came to take our order after being seated, which was well over 30+ min. Not including our 45 min wait to be seated. We waited so long, I eventually ordered my food online, but before I left I asked to speak with the manager. He quickly came to our table, apologized for the service, and made sure my Togo order was being properly executed. The manager also gave us gift cards for future visits. I will definitely patronize this establishment again in the future. read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but service was not the best. The waitress didn't smile at us once the whole time we were there. The service wasn't good at all. The food was good though, and we still had a great time. I got the 3 for 10 which was a great deal. Essentially, go for the food not the service. read more

I love chili's it's my favorite place to eat and I've never wrote a Yelp review, but this is the worst service and most disrespectful staff in the entire United States. It was a 45 min wait just to get in, then we put in our drink and food orders and nothing came until an hour into service. We asked for 6 waters and received 4. One of our party members didn't receive their drink until an hour and a half into service. The waiter had the audacity to say that he thought it was the regular deep eddys lemonade drink, when no drink was brought in the first place. The skillet queso was watery like ranch that has been stretched and cold. The waiter brought 2 skillet queso's instead of the 1 queso and 2 chips and salsa that we ordered. The classic nachos we ordered were Greasy and had no chicken on them. One party member didn't receive his appetizer 2 hours in and was told by the waiter that he didn't put it in. After bringing it out it was 2 and half hours into dinner service. The manager came over because apparently the waiter had not put the checks in right. After asking and writing down everything that we had for the dinner he came back with the wrong checks and things added on them. After telling him I wasn't paying he said he would comp everything but the drinks and had the nerve to say did you get your food?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! He better be glad I didn't say did you get these hands in your mouth because this is the most ridiculous restaurant experience I've ever had. read more

the wait time was longer than expected. the waitress was nice but seemed very stressed out. i ordered the 6oz sirloin with fries and my steak was COVERED in butter; as was half my plate. my fries were soggy with butter. i wouldn't say the food was awful, but i doubt i'll be eating here again. read more

Omg!!! Went to this restaurant today and the service was HORRIBLE. First off we had a 25 minute wait which was fine. 2nd when we did receive the message of our table being ready the host was somewhere cleaning up finally 15 minutes later we are seated... 3rd took 20 minutes to even receive a drink and 30 minutes to put in an order for food. Not to mention the workers very disrespectful using profanity and arguing with one another. They were more focused on arguing and bickering than actually satisfying their customers! Finally 1 hour later food is finally here. I will never be going back again! EVER read more

I get that it's Chili's. I'm not looking for top notch service or food. You go there for a certain reliable product. Better than fast food, reasonably priced and quick/convenient. But since I just waited for a to go order 45 minutes past the pick up time sent by Chili's, they failed on the quick and convenient measure. It wasn't just me. There was a queue of people waiting, including two delivery drivers that had orders cancelled while waiting. So my wait was an inconvenience for my family, but theirs impacts their livelihood. When I finally got the food, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the wait. The chaos at this location is a pretty good sign of shoddy ownership or management. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Chili's but we were looking for something quick, and out of the chain restaurants in Madison this one had the better Yelp ratings. We arrived at 8 and they were packed. We only waited 3-5 minutes for a table. Our server, Randall, took excellent care of us and the food was great! read more

I called in to place an order and as i type this review ive been on hold for 22 minutes. I called from another phone and spoke to the same person who put me on hold and he lied and said it wasnt him. Never apologized for the inconvenience and poor service, just asked for my name amd order. A NEGATIVE 5 stars is more appropriate for this place today. The worker I spoke to didn't give a damn. ....at 25 minutes now and still one has picked up. Guess it's applebees tonight! ....smh. read more

my family and i came here for dinner last night. we called before because there was 5 of us. so we called to ask how long the wait would be and we were told 35 minutes. so we arrive go inside to put our name down and are no told 40 minutes. we decide to wait anyway and about an hour later we heard nothing. so we went in to ask abt it and are told that we would have to wait an ADDITIONAL 45 minutes to AN HOUR. on top of the hour we work. i work as a hostess at a local restaurant and i just don't understand what happened last night. the most unorganized restaurant i've ever been to. do not know if i would ever return. read more

The waitress was extremely rude. Extremely rude. We got our drinks and waited about 45 minutes for our food and had to ask twice for a refill. It was our waitress's fault, when she came out to finally give us our drinks she scolded us saying I was rude for "shaking my drink to get a refill" when all I did was hold my glass up and ask for a refill which I did not mean to come across rude or anything, and the second time I asked I didn't realize it was the same girl who I asked the first time. After scolding us, I said are you serious? and she screamed "Yes I am anything else?" in front of the entire restaurant and then proceeded to roll her eyes. WILL NOT be coming back here/recommending this restaurant to anyone. read more
