Great place, and atmosphere. Pull up. Food and drinks are great. Manager and staff are very friendly.

Food is okay and they do charge gratuity on your bill . David is not a good waiter he is older man like he always messing up orders and then the owner is no help . They keep telling my mom she ordered something she did not know what it was and he got mad talking about how can he order for you that what the owner said. David did order for her or he did not understand which the order was not hard at all because my mom received her food with a bunch of more food and her Togo order. He could have got someone to help if he did not understood. He never repeated the order back or nothing so how would my mom know he had a misunderstanding and she keep saying what she wanted and a happy plate Togo . They made us pay and we did not know what it was . This place is Waste if you don't have extra money to spend. read more

Mojitos Tacos Bar and Grill - large margarita - Salad Near Me - Byram, Mississippi

Food was hot and fresh. Customers service wasn't great. Our waiter didn't come to check on us. Our waiter was seating by the bar. I ask him twice for napkins and more water. Then he put a gratuity on there. I don't mind leaving a tip, but I would like better service if you're going to add a tip. This isn't my first time here. But the first time they added gratuity. read more

Great spot! Enjoyed the chips, salsa, and cheese dip. Margarita was average. The street tacos were delicious!

I didn't want to put this restaurant in a bad light because the owner is really nice!!!! BUT HIS EMPLOYEES ARE VERY RUDE, BORDERLINE RACIST, AND PREJUDICE TOWARDS LGBT PEOPLE! Exceptional customer service should be expected if you're dealing with my food and taking my money! I come in this restaurant frequently to get a drink or the wings which are really good. And this particularly time I came in and sat myself at the bar which is normal. No one acknowledged or came to service me for almost 10 minutes. I finally got the attention of the host who had walked past me at the bar 2 times. I asked if I could be serviced/for a menu and he responded that I didn't say anything when I walked in so he didn't think I was there to eat?? As this conversation is transpiring, the older man in the picture is yelling "Aye, aye, aye man!!" To get my attention. I ignored him because "Aye" is not how I expect to be addressed nor am I man. I sit back down after getting a menu from the host and the older man comes behind the bar and still doesn't acknowledge me but yet takes the order of another patron that just walked in. I get up and talk to this female employee in the picture and try to explain to her that I would to speak to the manager. She responded that the manager was not there/ he was busy/ and I couldn't talk to him. I proceed to explain to her how the customer service has made me feel and how it would make anyone with my ethnicity/appearance would feel. I ask her how she would feel if it were her in this situation. She said she wouldn't feel any type of way. She said the old man was "just old so ignore him". After that conversation, I politely returned the menus and left. This isn't the first time that this host and older man has been prejudice towards me. Another time when I came in to order food for takeout, these two insinuated that I lied about an order that I had already paid for. I am highly disappointed for the way they treated me on several occasions. The customer service was more than poor and shouldn't have been experienced as a frequent customer in a predominantly black community. I am leaving this review as well as pictures of the individuals for the manager and other people like me to see!! Because things like this should be broadcasted and people like this need to be held accountable!!!!! read more

Mojitos Tacos Bar and Grill - the employee that told me "He is old so just ignore him" ?! Like huh?!? - Salad Near Me - Byram, Mississippi

See all

Ambiance - aesthetically pleasing to the eye; inviting; clean; no people at 2:30 pm on a weekday. Service - young man was polite; he was helpful in placing my order for a 2 item combo. As a Latina, who is very familiar with preparing and cooking these dishes; I will be brutally honest simply because I feel that by doing will help folks tasting food that they perceive as authentic. Food - food came out in less than 10 minutes - this was my first sign that this was not going to be as good as I had hope for. Please keep in mind that I ordered 3 of the two item combos. Items ordered: Chile rellenos were not good. No flavor and the chiles tasted as if it had been prepared before hand and been frozen. The stuffing of the chili was hard to make out of it had been stuff with cheese or something else. The red sauce was disgusting. Tacos were soggy by the time we got home which it was approximately a 10 minute drive. The taco hard shells were definitely store/vendor bought and not authentic. Beans and rice were pretty good. They need a bit more flavor but overall good. Ground beef enchilada was very good. The flavor/seasoning was there. Chicken burrito was tasty. The meat was shredded chicken and could use more of the veggies to enhance the flavor. The flavor was lacking but with a few minor adjustments could definitely be a star menu item. The red sauce or wet sauce on the burrito seems to be similar to the chili relleno's sauce and that taste was less than desirable. I would suggest to the restaurant to redevelop the flavor to the red sauce because it almost tasted spoiled. This restaurant left a lot to be desired. Despite it being truly a beautiful decorated restaurant, it needs the same focus on their menu. I hope to see more authenticity in the foods and maybe stick to a smaller menu where foods could be freshly prepared. read more

The food is good. We never had anything we didn't like. We will be back. They screwed up our order one time but they were willing to fix it so no harm done. read more

Usually I get my food to go but today 11/24/24, I decided to sit in and eat. Though the food was great as always, the server who happened to also be the manager was EXTREMELY RUDE. This included smart remarks when our order was wrong & slamming the plates down. It was an overall bad (mediocre) experience. This will be the LAST TIME I eat here. read more

Typical Tex mex. I never really enjoy my experiences here. My best tips right now. Don't order beef / water / some cocktails. I got a bad batch of utensils with leftover residue on them. Cheese dip should be thick and creamy but it was overall just watery and doesn't coat the chip like its suppose to. The mojito nachos were nice but don't order the beef imo, chicken would just be better or just order a quesadilla and be done With it. Water just taste like faucet water.. Disappointing to say that the blackberry mojito was not it at all. Not to say it was bad but it just wasn't the right time. Maybe when they settle a bit more in. read more

Food was amazing and service was phenomenal. I walked in and the environment was such a nice atmosphere

ordered 2 side chimichangas because the waiter said they were very small. they were not very small.... could only eat one. asked just for cheese on them not the usual red salsa. was not enough white cheese sauce to taste, more like a slight drizzle. they were very tasteless. when the bill came i was charged .99 each for extra cheese ??? when i asked the waiter he said they come with nothing on them. i feel he should have made me aware of this when ordering. i asked for another fork since mine was not clean. never got it .... will not be eating there again read more

The server shaol (bald head man) was very rude over charged my friends then got upset because they asked questions about why they we over charged... then proceeded to say he was calling the police , he called them and claimed we did not pay although every one still did after his mishaps and miscommunication... very bad service also got nasty and disrespectful when we asked for to go plates.... I do not recommend at all will never go back!!! read more

would give 0 starts if possible!!!!!! absolutely will never again in my life walk into this trashy place. -100/10. accused me of stealing a margarita glass that they claim was $50. our server proceeded to follow us out of the place and cuss at us loudly while there was a child around. they claim they didn't take them but my $150 sunglasses disappeared off the table after i went to the bathroom. an older man walked past and took the tip for our original waiter. (waiter was a bald man with an accent) never told us his name. me being a server for so many years just shows that he 1.) doesn't pay enough attention to his table to realize that it was bussed already. 2.) hasn't been serving long enough to mention his name even once so our original waiter (again the bald man!!!!) follows me out of the restaurant screaming telling me he will call the cops over a "stolen glass". then runs to my car when i open it as if he is going to look into it or even get into it. felt unsafe, uncomfortable and attacked. not the way to treat a paying customer!!!! especially for a $20 margarita in a glass i wouldn't bother stealing to begin with. very unprofessional. very trashy. 100% would stick to anywhere but here!!!!!!!! also there was a tiny spider on the table DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!! read more
