Triple Dipper - big bite burger, southwest egg rolls, chipotle crisper tenders
    Stanley S.

Chilis has always been my fav casual American chain growing up and I'm glad they're making a comeback with how ridiculously overpriced fast food spots like McDonald's etc has become. I ordered the Triple Dipper with my fav combo of big bite burgers, chipotle crispers, and their excellent southwestern egg rolls. Service was timely and friendly. My only complaints were the watered down sauces and general tidiness of the interior.

(First time at this location) Ordered food Togo and was not satisfied at all. The chips and salsa and our favorite normally. Tonight's salsa was like water. Nothing to it. The soda had no bubbles to it. The chicken sandwich and burger were ok. The fries were good.

It has been years since we have been to Chili's and we are glad that we went! Sat at the tables in the bar area, Maddie was our server, she was very polite and provided us with excellent service. Started with the skillet queso, it was delicious and I swear Chilis has some of the best tortilla chips! I had the big smash burger, holy smokes it was amazing! My husband had the mushroom Swiss burger, I had a few bites and it tasted really good! Out of the two burgers, my favorite was the big smash burger! Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly, but they need to provide toothpicks for their customers!

I ordered a burger from Chili's. I usually like a medium well burger. This burger is overcooked to the point of being charred around the edges. I tried to contact the restaurant and was put on hold, but nobody ever picked up. I'm going to feed the rest of this burger to my dogs.

The steak was tender and cooked right but had more fat than usually found in this cut. My sides were awful. The baked potato (which was loaded, minus chives) had tons of cheese on it, not in a good way and that's it! The potato was hard with a weird texture. It was not like a nice hot fluffy potato should be. I ordered sautéed mushrooms to go on my steak and never have I tasted anything this bad. It tasted like burnt, dirty, greasy grill. I couldn't eat either the mushrooms or potato. My side salad, was lousy, a 7 year old could have done a better job. I didn't dine in so I can't attest to how that is but for $33.00 for just one meal, I was extremely disappointed. So many places are not upholding the good ole, "make good food, make return customers" and Gators unfortunately is one of them. If you don't make consistently good food, expect to lose customers. There are way too many other options. I highly doubt I'll ever eat here again.

We were highly disappointed in the taste and quality of all food we tried. The crab pies, for example, were all dried pastry with little to no taste or filling. So, we decided to give them a try. Kudos to them for adding signage and grabbing my attention. We went for lunch. I ordered the Catfish basket and upgraded the fries to a cup of gumbo. My personal experience with Cajun food is that it is normally slightly spicy and packed with flavor. I did not find the fried catfish to be spicy at all. Not even a little spicy. The catfish was fried perfectly but lacking in spice and was slightly bland. Same thing with the gumbo. No spice but prepared well. The hushpuppies were pretty good. So, if you like the taste of Cajun food and prefer very little spice, this is the place for you. I however, prefer more flavor and spice hence my 3-star review. I hope this helps. Bon appétit, y'all.

Food wise, Gouda Mushroom Burger is fantastic every time. A great mix of flavors, and a hefty burger, you will not be disappointed. Every time we have come here, someone gets it. The fries are also well seasoned and tasty. Highly recommend. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken. This was absolutely fantastic. Served over a bed of sauteed serrano slaw (which was amazing, I usually don't like slaw), this delightful concoction was stuffed with cream cheese spinach artichoke and cream cheese with a balsamic glaze over the top. It comes with very good mashed potatoes. I don't like most restaurants potatoes, so that's a bonus win. Really enjoyed, would get it again. The beer! They have a really good menu that rotates. They have local craft brews, in addition to your standard domestics. They also have ciders for those that don't fancy a beer. Our last visit I had a Belgian Tripel, and a Pumpkin Stout. Delish! A great spot for a lunch or chill dinner. Plenty of tv space for games. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Weiner Wednesday! Weiner Wednesday!!!…read more I just had to say that; it's too much fun! On Wednesdays, you can enjoy 50% off all schnitzel orders, and let me tell you, the schnitzel is excellent--both the pork and chicken options are fantastic. The beer is cold, and there's a vast selection to choose from. Now, let's address a controversial topic: some of you don't eat sauerkraut--heathens, I say! King's has the best sauerkraut in Harris and Galveston counties, bar none. Yes, it's a bit out of the way, but the atmosphere is lively, and the food portions are relatively large. It can get a little rowdy, though it's a fun kind of rowdiness. If you're more of a wet blanket, this might not be the place for you. If you enjoy camaraderie and good food, this is the spot for you! Weiner Wednesday (lol)!

This evening I was in the mood. In the mood for a Reuben sandwich. If you don't know what that is,…read moreI'm not sure we can really be friends. But since I'm a likeable sort of guy, I'll explain. A Reuben is simple: corned beef, sauerkraut, toasted bread (usually marbled rye), a bit of Russian or Thousand Island dressing, and Swiss cheese. Toast it up nice and warm--basically like a grilled cheese that went to college and got a respectable job. Over the years I've had stellar versions. I've had mediocre ones. I've had them burnt, soggy, and even a few where I had to remove half the meat because the sandwich had been stacked like a small geological formation. A proper Reuben is about the stack. The corned beef should be impressive--something you look at and think, "Yes... this sandwich understands the assignment." So tonight I thought: a German place should have good kraut. Surely they'd have a good Reuben. I ordered online and requested that they toast the bread, meat, and cheese but put the kraut and sauce on the side. Anyone who's ordered a hot sandwich for delivery knows that kraut inside a sealed container quickly turns bread into something resembling damp cardboard. The good news: they followed the request. The sauce and kraut were indeed on the side. And that's about where "what they got right" ended. The sandwich was, to put it kindly, wimpy. It came on a few very small slices of what appeared to be marbled rye... or perhaps bread that aspired to resemble marbled rye. The flavor certainly didn't suggest rye. As for being toasted, perhaps they briefly waved it near a heat source just long enough to dry the bread out slightly, as though it had been left on the counter for a few hours. I assembled it myself and gave it a fair shot. The corned beef did, in fact, pass as corned beef. The kraut was acceptable. But even a DIY reconstruction couldn't save the long list of small things that could have made this a proper Reuben instead of what felt like an appetizer-sized sandwich. Now, I do have to mention the large pretzel with mustard and beer cheese from the appetizer menu. The pretzel had a decent bite to it, but it wasn't quite warm. In fact, it had the distinct personality of something that may have spent just slightly less time in the microwave than it should have. Not cold exactly, but not the warm, chewy, certainly not the freshly baked experience one hopes for from a German biergarten. The beer cheese actually stood on its own--though you do have to pay extra for the tiny cup. The pretzel itself, however... I hate to say it, but sprinkle a little sugar on it and you've basically got a funnel cake. I'd say "you're not fooling anyone," but apparently you are. My suspicion--though I could be wrong--is that the establishment caters more to people who want to drink beer while examining the structural engineering of push-up corsets and lederhosen. This $15 sandwich belongs in a gas station cooler in a plastic clamshell for $5.99, not at a place identifying itself as a German biergarten. I'll give one star for the delivery driver and one star for correctly following the deconstruction request. But that's about all I can do. I've seen some good reviews for King's BierHaus at this location, so I would hate to think--though I can't entirely dismiss the possibility--that delivery orders might receive a little less care than dine-in meals.

I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.
