I will think seriously before ever going to another Chili's restaurant. Upon entering I overheard an exiting couple commenting they had lost 30 minutes of their driving time due to it taking that long just to get the ticket after they had finished their meal. I should have heeded this warning. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp Taco's. This item was shown on the menu with marinated shrimp, oriental coleslaw and a avocado wedge. My dish came it looked very different. I can no way call the cabbage they put on the taco's slaw. They just put cabbage on it and barely drizzled a dressing on it. And the Avocado was a JOKE!! It was not even a quarter of a wedge and from the color of it, it was most likely yesterday's left over as there was browning on it. On a positive note, my unsweetened tea was good. read more

Terribly ran restaurant. Always behind and never super busy. Staff standing around eating food, holding a baby, cutting up with other staff, all while the to go workers are drowning in work. Received my food after waiting for it 20 minutes past estimated wait time, it was cold and my drink was watered down. Called the manager and was offered food and didn't seem very concerned. First time to this chilli's location. Probably the very last,unless I have no other choice. Food was good when it finally got to our table. Our waitress was over loaded with tables. Thus our food and starter chips and cheese took a long time. The iron kettles had not been oiled properly and had rust in them. Luckily rust isn't a serious problem but wouldn't eat it of you can avoid it. Check your silverware also. Over all it was good food and definitely a if you're desperately hungry eatery. I only go for the appetizers and drinks !! And yes sometimes they take forever to take your order and I find them racist I go with my dad and uncle good service but when I go with my husband and his family we get bad food and bad service! And the manager never comes to our table to ask us how's everything? Talk about double standards! They need to treat all customers the same with friendliness and like we are valued! We went in and requested a booth on the bar side. We were told they needed to clean one off so it would be a 15 minute wait. No problem. 30 minutes later I walk in to check how much longer it would be. (At this point MANY people have walked out and no one was called for a table.) They then tell me my wait is 30-40 minutes. I restated that they had told me they just needed to clean off a booth in the bar. They go to start cleaning the booth and the bar tender starts yelling that she is NOT taking anymore tables. This is the point where I decided that under no circumstances I was giving this place my business. read more

I ordered a gluten free mushroom Swiss burger for pick up. After picking the burger up i went home. When i got home i open the box and see the burger is on a bun. Just for precaution i call the chili's i had just left to clarify if the bun is gluten free. I spoke to the manager and she had no idea what gluten free meant or that they even had a gluten free menu on the website! After being on hold for 5 minutes she takes me off hold and says yes the mushroom Swiss burger is gluten free if i order it without the bun so next time i need to just say without the bun. Are you serious, when i order a gluten free burger it should be understood that the bun needs to be taken out of the equation. Horrible i will never go back. read more

Compared to the Alexandria location it is the bomb! Had a good server that wasn't too talkative, but overall good service and the food was exactly like we wanted it. This location wasnt as dirty as alexandria but it still took a while for us to get table and when we asked for a booth the hostess got angry because he had to clean the table. read more

Service was a little slow but that was ok the issue was the food. It used to be much better. But the past couple of times it wasn't very good. The first time I ordered take out and it was below par but I decided to give it another try and we went as a family. We quickly learned the last order wasn't a fluke. Their quality of food has gone down. I passed in front of their kitchen and there was food all over the floors, totally disgusting. I do have to say our waitress and the manger were helpful. Anyway, there was nothing special about this Chili's, seeing as though there is nothing special about any other chili's I really didn't expect much. It was cold, loud, and the service was mediocre at best. I think mediocre is a stretch. I waitress was good, although I could tell she wasn't used to serving a big party. At Chili's on I-49 in Lafayette, LA with 6 adults & 3 children and the server is new on job for 2 days very sweet but whoever is cooking the food is slow as molasses as usual. This is the only Chili's I have ever been to that is so slow in getting the food out. We placed our order at 7:10 has been 50 minutes and still no food. Why can't they put a manager here that can actually get the food out in a reasonable amount of time. It's not rocket science. read more

We had to wait about 15 minutes, but noticed many empty tables when we walked in, they had not been bussed. Service was good, food was ok, but the restaurant was filthy, food on the floor, uncleared tables and when we left I noticed the kitchen when we walked by. I would have fired the staff immediately if I was the manager. I do not recommend this location. We were seated right away by a hostess trainee, as her trainer (manager?) sat on a guest bench instructing her on what to do. Upon using the restroom, I discovered (the hard way) that the first stall was out of toilet paper. After doing an awkward scoot into the second stall, I was relieved to find toilet paper, although the roll was almost out. Someone else entered the restroom, and I gave them a heads up through the stall door about the toilet paper situation. Apparently it was an employee, and she apologized saying she would fix it. There were papertowels in one of the sinks as well, clogging the drain. Just an unclean, unstocked bathroom. 20 minutes after my first bathroom visit, I had to escort my child. Nothing had been fixed, including the papertowels in the sink. I decided they might be busy, and let it go. Our service was rushed and unattentive, and the quality of food was poor. Our server, Natalie, never offered any prebussing, quality checks on our meals, or refills during our meal. Natalie did not return to our table from the time our food was served to about 10 minutes after the last one of us had finished our entre and we had stacked all the empty plates in hopes of grabbing her attention. She finally came back, offered refills and asked if we needed anything else, and I mentioned the deserts that come with our 3 for 10 deal. She says, of course, and asks if we would like them to go. We are on a roadtrip, so that didn't seem like the best option. We told her we would eat them on site. At least 15 minutes later, my drink refill, and the mini molten lava cakes show up, but by now my toddler is no longer able to sit still and I apologetically request them to go, acknowledging the inconvenience. Natalie got them into to-go boxes, but we had no silverware and a melted mess of ice cream by the time we got to the car. I took my girls to use the restroom one last time before hitting the road again, only to find that over an hour later, while employees were standing around chatting and management appeared to be sitting at a table, the restroom issues had still not been addressed. I mentioned it to a male server that I had noticed near our section and he apologized. We ordered online with a 21-minute wait time until order would be ready. When my husband got there, there were already 5 people in line, and no one at the to-go counter. He was finally able to pay but still had to wait for his food in a line that had increased to 7 people waiting. There were orders ready on the counter (getting cold) but no one to take care of customers. He finally got our order -- 25 minutes after the original pick-up time. Never again! UPDATE: My husband arrived home with our food, but the cheese on the nachos had congealed and the chips had become so soft, they broke when I picked them up. My son's crispy chicken tenders had turned soggy. In short, after bad service and a long wait, our food was inedible. We had to find something else to eat for dinner. read more

I love this place. There wasn't a Chili's where I used to live, so when I moved here, this is one of the first restaurants I went to, and it continues to be my favorite place. I've been going to Chili's for five years now, and they have never let me down, with their friendly staff, prompt service, and great atmosphere. Every time I've dined here, it has been an excellent experience, and when friends visit from out of town, this is where I take them. I would recommend Chili's to anyone. read more

Normally, I do not like change. When I find something I like, I want to be able to order it again and again. My husband & I eat the Express Lunch a lot. I always get the Loaded Baked Potato Soup and the Caesar Salad. When they came out with a new menu, I was not happy. The waitress was very patient with me, and always got my usual soup and the Caesar Salad, even though neither were on the menu anymore. This made me very happy. When we ate there last week, I decided not to insist on the Caesar, and took the new House Salad that came with the Express Lunch instead. It was very, very good and is now my new favorite salad! I must say though, I still had to order the Loaded Baked Potato Soup. I hope it is always available at my local Chili's! read more
