Poor service. I asked (paid for) a small guacamole to eat with the chips. I received one small scoop (smaller than a scoop of ice cream). I paid for a second "scoop" of guacamole only to get a smaller "scoop". What a joke. And it seemed as the lady was enjoying me not happy with the size. read more

Who doesn't love chips and salsa?? Stopped in to grab a quick dinner with my son and my parents!! We were seated quickly .. I do wish the tables were a little bigger. It was a bit snuck for 4 adults with drinks and chips and salsa on the table. There are plenty of choices on the menu... All the typical Mexican hits!! There is a full bar that offers margarita specials different nights of the week. There were TV's playing sports and music playing in the background. We started off with queso.. they have both yellow and white. We went with white and it was a good choice. Everyone quickly ate it up. My mom asked for a special green salsa they keep in the kitchen but will gladly bring to your table if you ask. The food was good, nothing extra special but typical of any other Mexican place in town. Service was great... All in all I enjoyed my meal and I will come back! read more

Went last night got the table side guacamole and the pick 4 and a order of salsa verde dip. On the pick 4 I got 2 cheese and onion enchiladas covered with chili con carne sauce and 1 tamale covered with cheese queso and 1 crunchy beef taco and it came with rice and your choice of beans, I get the charro beans. The table side guacamole was good but not made at the table so that was a let down but it was fresh and I'm glad I asked what goes in because if you don't tell them they put grated cheese and pico de Gallo which I got on the side because I only want avocado cilantro lime and salt and pepper in my guacamole. The Cheese & onion enchilada's were delicious and so was the tamale maybe the best tamale I've had in long time. The taco was just a taco but the cheese & onion enchilada I liked a lot. The charro beans can't be beat.......! The cheese queso here is also damn good. And my food is served scorching hot as it should be!!!!! read more

We really enjoyed our meal at Mami's. Their salsa and queso were both very good as well as their chips. I find some places add way too much salt to their chips but these at Mami's were perfect. For entrees, we ordered the tres sampler which came with chicken flautas, mixed fajita quesadillas, and nachos. The mixed fajita consisted of steak and chicken. This plate is on their appetizer menu but was perfect as an entree for someone who wanted to try a little bit of everything. The other entree we ordered was the tacos de la calle which came with three corn tortilla tacos with lime, raw onions, and cilantro. I chose the carne asada tacos but they also had carnitas, barbacoa, and pastor with chorizo and pineapple as other options. I'm such a simple gal that I really enjoy when I see simple tacos like these on a menu. These steak tacos were delicious and so were the rice and refried black beans that came with them. Our waitress was super nice and the restaurant itself including restrooms were very clean. We'll definitely be back. read more

I have trouble with Mexican food, because I don't eat spicy food, but the had various spice levels for different spice tastes. The food my brother and I had was very good and the service was good too. I enjoyed it. I will eat there again. read more

Since the new menu and name the food quality has gone down. The meat is over cooked and chewy. The service is not as superb. The staff doesn't seem to be as proud of this place as they once were. Disappointed! All great places seem to go down over time. Sad. read more

I have never posted a review before but I had to for such bad service. I called before going and asked about happy hour . I was told $6 for a large all day long. So when we got there We ordered each a large margaritas and asked if it cost extra for a flavored one our waitress Gesselle told us no. I ordered a strawberry margarita with lots of salt. It came out with hardly any salt on itLater I asked for another glass with lots of salt and she brought me a small styrofoam cup with salt in it.I'm looking at the cup like what am I suppose to do with this and the lady I was with explained to her again what I wanted and she did bring me another glass with salt on it.when it came time to order I told gesselle I wanted beef fajitas with the onions and bell peppers really well done. I was brought fajitas with the onions half cooked and raw bell peppers. I'm looking down at my plate in shock and gesselle utters under her breath "REALLY " and walks off. I look up and the lady at the table next to us is laughing and said "The look on your face was priceless " I picked up a piece of bell pepper and asked her "does this look well done ?"! She said " no "we told gesselle we wanted go boxes and our tickets. When it came time to pay I told gesselle that I would like to speak to a manager. A manager came out and I explained about the waitress telling us that it didn't cost more for a flavored margarita and it did cost more . His answer was "it's just a dollar" I told the manager about asking for another margarita glass with salt and showed him what I got and he smiled. I told him about ordering fajitas with the onions and bell peppers well done and how the waitress replied "really" and walked off . He kinda laughed like it was a big joke. He offered to take them back and cooked them longer. I told him I was finished eating and would cook them more when I got home . I gave the manager my ticket and credit card and told him I wouldn't be back. He had the nerve to ask me why not? I think the manager handled this in a very unprofessional way.My sister paid cash for her meal and gesselle took her money and didn't ask if she needed her change back she just kept it all.My sister told me she didn't plan on tipping her that much but she didn't say anything about it read more
