Food is awesome, service is great, and we go there a lot an the servers are very attentive and friendly!

They lost my business over $.78 today. Yup 78 cents. That's what they tried to keep from my cash payment. The total bill was $42.22 and the receipt said change would be $17.78. The amount I received was $17.00. When asked about it the server, Graci K, said "we don't give change". I told here then I wanted a round up to a dollar. After a few minutes she returned with a dollar. I've been to a few restaurants that may not give change if it's under 10 cents but never have I experienced this. Make sure if you go to this place and pay cash make sure you don't let them try to steal your change! read more

If I could give this review 0 stars I would. The hostess this evening was so rude to a handicapped couple. The man appeared to be hard of hearing and had an issue speaking. Was in Laffy and wanted to try something different. This was not a chain I was familiar with but heard about so we dropped in. We were seated promptly and got service promptly. The fajitas and the chimichanga were honestly average. Nothing to hit home about but good for a late lunch. I was not a fan of the salsa for the chips but hubs loved the ranch sauce they had. Good Tex Mex food for a very good price. Big portions and it tasted good! The salsa is spicy and fresh, they also serve a jalapeño dipping sauce that is really delicious! I got the "panchos" which are basically nachos but they use their in house tortillas and each chip has loads of toppings and cheese, two ppl could definitely share this, it's large! The restaurant gives a diner style vibe with a very strong Elvis Presley theme going on. Lots of staff present (Saturday at lunch time) service was good, although I did have to source my own napkins. The menu here is smaller than a typical restaurant, but the entrées are unique and unlike anything else in the area. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly cooked with care. The chips are complimentary, but what really stood out to me were the dips. The creamy jalapeño dip might honestly be one of the best things I've ever tasted--no exaggeration. The queso and guacamole were also excellent, especially the guacamole, which tasted incredibly fresh. Everything was just amazing. I have to admit, the chips and dips alone are enough to bring me back (as funny as that sounds). My wife and I will definitely be returning. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. The food is decent, I don't like the Tex spin on Mexican food, but I wanted to try it none the less. It was good, but I don't know what's going on with the curb side pickup. I pulled up and entered my spot through their curb side text system and ended up having to call for them to bring it out, which isn't a big deal. Our group found the food and service to be very good. I wish I could remember the name of our server to sing her praises in taking care of six overly mature ladies. Our dishes were not necessarily done in ways we were used to at other Tex-Mex places, but in a good way. My only real critique is that it was noisy, so not the place for much catching up conversation. Also, something they can definitely improve is the menu. The typography was small and lightly printed on colorful stock. I found it practically unreadable in the dim light. We wanted a quick nice dinner, it looked promising the server was good, and was able to give recommendations on what to order. The chips and dips were ok especially jalapeno ranch, However that's where it started going downhill. The main courses were very lackluster, the chicken was dry and bland, the Taco's did not taste fresh, and Enchilada was lacking flavor. I visited Chuy's back about a week ago. The food was delicious & our waiter was great! The food & our waiter deserve 10 stars. The reason I gave 3 stars was due to hearing how management talks to their employees. I tried to contact the restaurant to complain, but nothing ever happened. Tonni (or maybe her name was Tonya) was the manager that was right out rude & condescending to her employees.
