It's consistently decent and worth trying if you're in the area. One thing they absolutely get right is the beer--it's hands down the coldest in town, which is a huge plus. The biggest drawback is the restaurant itself. It's very small, so it often feels overcrowded, and the interior is dark and has a worn, somewhat dirty appearance. A brighter, more updated atmosphere would make a big difference and make the dining experience much more enjoyable. Overall, the food is solid enough that I'll come back, especially for a cold beer and a pizza, but the atmosphere keeps it from being more than a 3-star experience. The service has always been excellent!!!

Nice building, good service, good food!…read more I came in town for a family gathering and caught up with my dad for lunch. He chose BJ's. The building is nice, there's plenty of parking in a huge lot, and you get sat pretty quickly. There's PLENTY of seating. I got the caesar salad with grilled shrimp, and it was pretty good. A tad salty, but still good and did the job. Simply caesar salad. It was pretty quiet, so I am not sure if the ambiance is more social at night. I'm assuming it is, with all the TVs. Probably a hub for all the major game viewings!!! Server was super attentive and made sure drinks were refilled consistently without making us feel rushed or uncomfortable. I assume it's a different experience at night, but overall no complaints!

The female forgot about it and was loading other customers pizzas in the oven. I told her that my pizza is right there and that it was visibly cold. She said it was only sitting there for 5 minutes..... Yes, 5 minutes on a cold metal counter cools it down fast I thought. Unbelievable and believable at the same time. Kinda sucks because I love the pizza here and have been a customer for awhile now but NOT ANYMORE. I'll also add that no one apologized at all and just acted like I was just an inconvenience to them. They will never get my business and I urge others to not do business at a place that obviously doesn't care.

***EXCELLENT FOOD AND COURTEOUS STAFF*****…read more I was traveling and stopped for a restroom break. As I walked out of restroom, I could smell the good food and was eager to check out the menu. As I turned the corner I can see this wonderful display of Italian pizza, Stromboli, spaghetti, breadsticks , meatballs, chicken Parmesan, wings and varieties of salad. It was ITALY by way of Lafayette. There was a Caucasian lady who was serving someone and she immediately observed more customers and called for more help. Then an African American lady arrived to assist. They both were very friendly, knowledgeable about menu and kind. Both of them were making recommendations and offering everything you needed to make your meal pleasurable. The kindness that exhumed from both of them was so touching and fulfilling. They both made my day. The guest before me ordered meatballs and spaghetti, I ordered chicken Parmesan and all other guest was ordering meals as well. I requested hot sauce and the cashier kindly assisted me. I would have rather my marinara sauce to be more saucy than liquid. It was tasty but I prefer a thicker sauce that sticks to the spaghetti.

Yes, it was crowded, but that's a healthy sign! In fact, we were lucky enough to find a parking space in the lot. From antipasto to dessert everything was top notch. So, we went to Italy and came back changed people. In fact, I started making my own pasta being inspired by what I experienced. There is a tremendous difference between fresh and shelf. We finally made it back to Sarrica's last Saturday, and I don't know how one could be more impressed, but they did it again! We got there early and immediately got a table. A half hour later the place was getting packed. We went straight to the Primo skipping the antipasto this time. Our food arrived quickly, and at first the portion looked smaller than before. But I was deceived! The dish was full! And delicious! And gone! I'm usually not known for cleaning my plate, but had we been in a darker corner I probably would be licking what's left! No, seriously, it's that good! This place would be popular in Sicily or Rome or Tuscany! You can tell someone in the kitchen is proud of what they're serving to be so consistent. There's no question we'll be returning - if we find a parking space!

The pizza dough is incredible; their thin crust pizza is unlike anything else in town. I usually don't eat the crust, but here I ate every bite. You must order the Puffetta appetizer--it's melted mozzarella in their marinara sauce with puff dough, served fresh out of the oven, perfect for dipping. The pasta is another highlight--they hand make their own, and it's so good. The portion is just right, flavorful without feeling heavy. Serra's has quickly become our new favorite in town. Highly recommend.

I think there was a slight dip in quality - the crust just doesn't seem quite the same now - but I still think it's the best pizza in town. The service vastly improved. The workers seem to actually care that you have an enjoyable experience while you are there. The facilities are cleaner, and simply look nicer. Everything in the building appears to have been given a face lift. It looks like a new restaurant. The game room has been completely overhauled. The games now actually work! They've moved from a token based system to a card based system similar to what you would find at a Dave & Buster's. If your kids like to save their tickets, the new system makes this easier (though any previously saved tickets are now gone). Just keep the card, and you keep the tickets. The games, however, are now more expensive. Previously most games were $.25; now most games cost $.50 - $1.00 to play.
