Favorite pizza spot anytime I'm in Laffy. The topping options is particularly what makes it stand out from other "build your own pizza" type establishments. They have a good selection of toppings and ones you normally don't see like crawfish, shrimp, real crabmeat, corn, etc. These premium toppings can make it pricey but worth it. Wait was about 7 minutes and customer service was nice.

    This is the Cajun classic

While I understand alot of meat means high prices. It is just so sad you can pay $20 after tax for a pizza the size of my hands. So disappointing when it is floppy too.

Fig-N-Awesome pizza. I know what you are thinking. Figs on pizza? Yes, you must try it.

We love this place. The Fig'n awesome pizza is our favorite. We also like the pepperoni. Tonight, we ordered one of their calzones for the first time. We ordered it without onions and peppers. When the calzone came, it had onions and peppers in it. It was a little disappointing. Usually they are so good about getting orders made correctly. We tried to call to ask about the error, but could not get anyone on the phone.

Pepperoni Pizza. Seriously. This is what greeted us upon opening the box.

Ordered two large artista pizzas and a kid pepperoni to-go. The Artistas were made well. The pepperoni, well, the picture is worth a thousand word review. The crew is the typical high school/college kid minimum wage employee so they don't take any initiative to do quality control. Count the number of visible pepperoni slices on the pizza. Seriously. Are you proud of this product? What about this would possibly encourage me to be a repeat customer? Why would the employee that made and boxed this up think this is a stellar product? Owner, if you're not a absentee, please take notice. Still searching for quality Pizza in Lafayette.

I understand that many reviews rave about the pizza. But I must say it was average at best in my honest opinion. The service on the other hand was great and gets a higher rating than the pizza. I ordered the ( Caribbean Chicken & Mango Olive Oil, Minced Garlic, Feta Cheese, Mozzarella, Chicken Purple Onion, Bell Pepper, Pineapple, Jalapeno, Mango, Tomato, Caribbean Seasoning Finished with Cilantro, Basil, Balsamic Glaze, and Lime) The Balsamic Glaze was delicious. The toppings of this pizza were all really good. While the edge of the crust was cardboard like ( just my opinion). I'd definitely frequent this place again.

I love pizza but have been on a health kick lately so I had given it up for months...until I heard that Pizza Artista offered gluten-free options and cauliflower crust. I decided to give it a try and I definitely was not disappointed. So they have the counter-serve style of pizza if you've been to places like Blaze or Lit Pizza. They have signature style pizzas or you can create your own pizza. I loved the create your own option because it comes with 7 toppings (included in the $7.99) which is a steal to me compared to the $10 one topping pizzas that places like Papa John's advertise. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes of waiting once you place your order (I guess depending on how busy they are). They have a great selection of beer on tap and I love the atmosphere. Super modern and casual and a great place to hang out with groups of people (once Covid goes away of course). Overall, I would definitely recommend Pizza Artista. Friendly, fast service, good pizza, and great prices.

I am not local and haven't heard of this place before but i was kind of expecting a different atmosphere for some reason. Guess I didn't look through the photos enough. It was nice, we had to clean our own table to sit but overall wasn't terribly dirty. The girl who helped us did a wonderful job at recommending a good pizza. The swamp daddy pizza is AMAZING. But i was expecting a little more heat in the "spicy" sauce. The beer wall was closed which was disappointing but the sweet tea was good. I would still go back, or order for take out. 5 star for the pizza and the workers, 3 star for cleanliness and lack of beer

Me and my boyfriend came on a Tuesday for the Bogo deal on the pizzas. Ordered a Philly steak along with the Mediterranean veggie . Ordering the food was quick along with receiving everything so service was good. We got the hot honey sauce to try which was delicious and had to get a beer . The restaurant was very clean and nice .

We ordered a large Artista Pizza for pick up. I can honestly say DiGiorno frozen pizza I have had was a better pizza. I won't be back.

We tried a few different bites, and everything was exactly what you want from a spot like this -- flavorful, fresh, and satisfying every single time. Food: The food is really the main attraction here. Nothing overly fancy or trying too hard, just consistently good food that delivers every time. Everything we tried was solid, and it's the kind of place where you already know you're leaving happy before you even order. Service: Service was smooth with no issues at all. The staff kept things moving, and the experience was easy from start to finish. Ambiance: Billy's has that classic Louisiana stop-through feel to it. Nothing extravagant, but it doesn't need to be. The food speaks for itself. Overall: Not much to rave about besides the food -- and honestly, that's all it needs. The cracklins had a little bit of fat and meat on them which I wasn't used to. I'm just used to the fried crispy skin. It tasted more like fried/seasoned pork belly. The seasoning is really good though. My favorite boudin was Billy's more than the smoked one but my fiance liked the smoked flavor more. I wish we took pics but we just ate it in the car. The casing was a little tough to bite through so I sliced it and scooped out the insides. Although the Billy's boudin is good, I don't know if it was good enough to drive from Texas for it. I need to search for more places while I'm here.

There's no host stand or clear seating system, so the entrance felt chaotic. We weren't sure what to do until a nice local told us to just grab a table. After sitting down, it took about 5 mins for a waitress to stop by with the menus. The menu includes both breakfast and lunch items, but the ordering process is confusing. We were told breakfast orders would be taken at the table and lunch needs to be ordered separately at the cafeteria style counter. My husband went to the counter to order lunch while I stayed behind, waiting for the server to return with drinks and take our breakfast order, she never did. The smothered pork dish looked worse than school cafeteria, and unfortunately tasted like it too. It was overly salty and the pork had a weird taste to it. Since we had already paid for the lunch item upfront and still hadn't been able to place breakfast order, we decided to cut our losses and went to another restaurant. Overall, wasted 35 mins and left frustrated and disappointed, definitely won't come back!

The main issue here is the overall service experience and the food quality. The interior is old school but immediately chaos; there is a Luby's style ready serve food line and tables as well for dine in. We didn't know but apparently you just find a table and sit down, we were standing around waiting to be seated for a bit. Apparently you order lunch plates at this hot food line and then order breakfast via your server at the table. This makes no sense. We waited 35 minutes for staff to take our breakfast order and beverages unsuccessfully, so I went up and ordered a lunch plate of smothered pork and just paid up front. The guy working the ready made food line was also pretty rude and didn't want to be there; great! It was definitely below Treebeard's level and was very salty and not very flavorful. The sauce that they poured on the rice was extremely salty as well. Meh food quality and the absolute chaos of the brunch dining experience made the brunch meal very unenjoyable for our group. We left afterwards and went to another restaurant to eat.

Our wait was quoted at 40 minutes, and it was fairly accurate. They have a full bar to grab a drink and chat with friends while you wait.
