Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Overall, solid experience with a couple things worth pointing out. We were seated in a booth, which would've been great, but it was right next to a large fish tank. That turned into a steady stream of kids running back and forth to look at the fish. Nothing against kids at all, but that particular booth would be better suited for families rather than couples without children. Just something the restaurant might want to think about. On the positive side, our waitress was excellent, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. We ordered the Pizza Village Special (no olives), and that's where they really delivered. The pizza was very good, thin, crispy crust with great flavor. Exactly what you want when you come here. Bottom line: good food, good service, just be mindful of where you're seated if you're looking for a quieter meal. read more

The original location on Moss Street has been moved down the road with another two locations one in Lafayette on Kaliste Saloom and a new location in Breaux Bridge on Main St. No matter which location you choose they'll serve the same original recipe with all the best toppings and the friendliest staff. Good pizza place for a big party. Our server was awesome with a party of 14. Chefs salad is pretty good with a very good Italian dressing. Pizza is ok. Not a fan of the cracker crust, but is topped well with what you order on it. Got the meat lovers pizza and it had lots on it, but crust isn't my favorite. Good food. Poor service. Decided to give Pizza Village a try. Walked in at 6:50 and there was no line. I asked for a table/booth for 4. Hostesses said she would need a minute to walk around and see what was available. 5 minutes later she came back and seated us. Lots of dirty tables but not many people eating. Floors definitely needed to be swept. After being seated we waited another 5 minutes before we had a server. Placed an order for garlic bread and fried pepperoni. She got our drinks and we ordered a small and a large pizza. About 10 mins passed and we had our appetizers. 30 mins later she asked if we needed anything. I said just our pizza. 20 mins later she comes back to inform me that the kitchen had lost the ticket and they were just getting started on the pizzas and it would take 30 mins. I said no o cancel the order. She okay and went to the back. A few minutes later she came back and said it would only take 15 minutes. So we went forward with the pizzas. They came out about 10 mins later. 1 hour and 20 minutes after we arrived. She apologized but there was no visit from management and no offer to discount or do anything to make up for their mistake. All the food was really good. The prices aren't bad either. But they really messed up on the first impression. read more

Ordering was easy enough through a third-party app . I like Italian sausage on my pizza so I did the 5 to 7 toppings. I thought it was $21.90 but when I picked up my order, it turned out to be a charge for two of the items even though I only ordered seven toppings. The menu clearly states pricing includes basic and premium toppings, so I'm not sure what the charge was for.. upon arrival to pick the pizza up the bartender was engaged in a conversation and not serving a customer and did not notice me for a few few minutes. as long as it took to get the receipt and the pizza and consider considering the fact I was expensing it anyway I just signed the ticket and left $27 is kind of exorbitant for an 11 inch pizza. I have been in the food business for a long time so I know what it cost to make a pizza that size.. The crust had a why is slight burnt taste to it. The sauce itself was just average, I could not taste any Italian seasonings. The ratio of toppings, sauce, and dough seem to be good. There was an odd odor by the bar but I could not figure out what it was. This is the second place that I have had pizza in Lafayette, and I thought it was better than Deano's. He was checking on everything and brought our drinks to us before our server could. Energetic and involved. Now for the bad news: The pizza was the worst pizza I have ever had. After ordering the pizza with instructions to put the olives only on one-half of the pizza (Simple, right?) because one of us didn't care for olives, we got what was basically an olive pizza. Nothing else was easily visible due to the huge amount of olives layered on the cheese-less pizza. I also don't think the pizza had any red sauce on it. Flavorless does not even begin to describe it. Went in for lunch I was going to be there for a week or two so order giant pizza ate about two slices took it back to the hotel and ate on it for the next few days best cold pizza ever. Each time I get food, its usually the one on Moss Street however, yesterday I went here with my coworkers and it was amazing! For an appetizer I tried the crawfish bisque and it was delicious, full of flavor! The homemade chips are a great addition. For an entree I ordered a small salad and a landry pizza crustless. Omg, absolutely amazing! I'm so glad they offer crustless options here because it was just as delicious.
