The crust leans more crunchy than chewy and is different from pretty much any other pizza I've had. Dean-O's menu is expansive, with a variety of pasta, salad, and sandwich offerings in addition to both traditional and unique specialty pizzas. My favorite choices are the Muffuletta and the Parrain - pepperoni with pepper jelly. Yum! It is very kid friendly, with arcade games to entertain them and a great kids menu. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Been here many times, just stopping by to add a few comments. It's not often, you go to a pizza spot, and struggle with more than 2 or 3 different favorites. But here at Dean-O's, I end up leaving with what I wanted, and the regret, of not one of my other favorites. But it's still a win, the Shrimp ala Dean-O's, is my current favorite. My daughter has had the grilled chicken fettuccine, and loved it. I need to try more pasta dishes, but it's very hard passing up on the pizza. read more

I stopped by Dean O's on Bertrand Road while in Lafayette and finally tried the pasta salad I always see on DoorDash when ordering for my grandmother. The pictures always looked so good and it did not disappoint. It came with a slice of cheese bread and had toppings like tomatoes and egg plus your choice of protein. I ordered half shrimp and it was more than worth it. The portion was huge. For one person it would easily take me about three days to finish, so it is definitely something you can share. My only complaint was that they placed the utensil pack inside the salad. I would rather see it placed in the bag instead. People handle those utensil packs and putting them straight in the food box is a little off-putting. Other than that, the pasta salad was delicious and I would order it again in a heartbeat. read more

The guiltless pizza was just ok, a little dry but the meat pizza was delicious. I was disappointed because I ordered 16" pizzas because I have a big family but 14" were delivered. Yes, I measured because I paid for the 16" so made sure I wasn't dreaming when the small boxes arrived! An Honest mistake but when it's late and your kids are hungry those extra slices make a difference The bread pudding was delicious and I can't rate the king cake bites I paid $9 for since they weren't in my order! The service was slower than expected but I think that's Uber eats fault and not Deanos fault since Uber Eats app told us it would be delivered in about 20 minutes but it was almost an hour before it got to my house. I was skeptical about a pizza called the Cajun Samurai. Chow mein noodles? Come on. But man oh man, what a delicious treat! All of the flavors go together really well...and the crunchy noodles? Perfect little texture change-up that really elevated the pie. Excellent crust, lots of shrimp and YumYum sauce, crunchy and savory and delicious - I got a second one to "Take and Bake!" We also ordered the Grilled Chicken Club - it's really good, too, and hit the spot when I was looking for something reasonably healthy for a change. :) The chicken breast was so big it was hanging off of the bun on all sides! Always great food! We live out of state so we don't get to enjoy Deano's as often as we would like but today as we were traveling through we had to stop and order a couple of our favorites. The crawfish nachos are my husband's super favorite & even though the crawfish cheese sauce was a little thick lol they were still delicious! Stopped by for lunch. Ordered the boudin queso, very good flavor and loved the chips. We each got the personal pizza special which came with a personal pizza, salad and a drink. Got the Perrain to see what all the hype was that our friends told us about and then a traditional pepperoni. We both liked the thin crust. The crispy pepperoni. Yum About the Perrain, it is pepperoni and pepper jelly. My husband decided to be the one to try it, I'm not that adventurous, I just had a taste of his. Definitely not for me but I'm not a big pepper jelly fan. For my husband who is a pepper jelly fan he said the pizza was good but not something he'd order again more because of the fact of it's not what he looks for in pizza flavor. Now he's the more pizza person than I am. So if you like pineapple on your pizza you'd probably like something like this that gives that sweet flavor to your pizza. So as a personal preference or opinion of it, be sure you're ok with a little sweet spin on your pizza. Our shrimp canilie pizza and Marie Laveaux pizza were very good. The waitress struggled to hear us and we to hear her. There was a huge table near us with teams, the kids were actually on their tablets and quiet. The men were yelling, drinking and cursing, the women were talking loud. They were very rude to the rest of the patrons. Management did not come ask them to quiet down. We sat at our table and could not talk to each other, our stomach was in knots how loud it was. And they more they drank, the louder they were. Totally ruined most patrons experience. When the teams table got up to leave the whole restaurant cheered and clapped. The food was amazing! Today my group of 6 team members went to Dean-O's for lunch. The server was not very experienced. She got each of our orders correctly. The food was delicious as it always is. However, when we asked for our tickets - the server mixed up several of the orders/drinks on the patrons . Once she finally got that correct, we gave her our Credit cards - it took her at least another 30 minutes. We were there for more than 2 hours! Not acceptable! read more

Wonderful bun made on site, and great fixings. Really, you need to try a Deano's Burger, friend. The food is great, the service is great. The kitchen sucks ass. Every time I order something other than pizza, there's something wrong with my order. Hamburger, no cheese no mayo. Comes back with so much cheese I can't even scrape it off. Send it back. The new offering has so much mayo the bun is soggy. For me it was the lesser of the two evils so I just ate it. Today I sit at the bar, order a beer and 2 hamburgers. 45 minutes later and a second beer the burgers finally come out. 2 burgers took 45 minutes at 1130 on a Sunday. Also, they charge you extra if you want to use a credit card. Disgusting. I know the fees are high, which is also disgusting, but absorb the price somewhere else. Don't slap people in the face because they want to use the most common form of payment in the country. Shame on you Tim!!! read more

The T-Rex pizza is a must try, as well as the fried ravioli appetizer! The staff has always been friendly, chill and accommodating! This location had dirty booth walls and the door near the booth looked like it had never been cleaned. The witness was absent through the whole meal. The speciality pizzas we ordered had the very worst tasteless small crust I've ever had the misfortune to taste. They use these gross canned mushrooms. My husband enjoyed his shrimp pizza the least and said the topping didn't go with the shrimp.
