I ate here with my wife and one of my children for dinner yesterday (5/31/2019). We got there before the dinner rush which was good. No wait to be seated. I asked for a table instead of a booth. They sat us in the side with tables, we where by ourselves which was great. It looked like our side was closed, like they were not using it. The waitress seemed like she had an attitude about it. Food was good. Wife got a chicken sandwich, and I got the chicken fajita. Waitress guilt us into doing a survey on the table tablet, saying if we don't do it, or we don't give her all 5 stars she has to go to additional meeting. Amazing how tattered and run down the place is. Table tops finish just missing torn bench seats by a whole bunch. Just a dump asking high prices to sit in a disaster. Their online ordering system worked like a charm, everything was clear no confusion whatsoever. And their ToGo Kiosk service was pretty neat too, everything was neatly packed and bagged. However the food wasnt so flavouful, SW Spice Panko onion rings , egg rolls and chicken crispers were all kinda bland. Home Fries were good and SW Ckn soup was great with lotsa shredded Ckn. I was looking for a restaurant that wasn't fast food & still open after 10pm. So I found a local, and they advised of chili's. The food was pretty good, but that's to be expected for a chili's. The service on the other hand was pretty slow. When I first stepped inside, there wasn't anyone at the register to take my to go order. I grabbed a menu and waited for someone, but no one ever came. 10 minutes later I finally asked one of the waitresses, if someone was going to take my order. Then I was instructed to go to the bar to place my order. I waited almost an hour for my food & when I was about to eat my food I realized I didn't have any utensils in my bag. It's Chili's. There isn't a ton to expound upon, other than to say that our waiter this past visit was nice and efficient. To me, Chili's food is overly salted, and average in quality and price. My family loves this location so they drag me along, but Chili's will never be my first choice. I will have to say that when I'm ready to splurge on dessert (once a year), I enjoy splitting their Molten Chocolate Cake. It's chocolate overload, but pairs well with the vanilla ice cream on top. We came in on a Sunday evening for dinner and right away there was a hostess there that held the door open for my girl friend and I and sat us immediately. In less than a minute a server named Candice was at our table to take our drink and appetizer order. Candice was wonderful, our drinks never fell below the half way point, was very tentative, and friendly, our food was brought to us shortly after we ordered which was awesome because I was starving. The food was awesome because it was well placed, looked amazing and they didn't skimp out in any of the ingredients. The manager came by at that moment to check on us and my husband let him know of his issue. Colin, the manager, apologized, was very understanding and went to make a whole new plate. We were here with my wife's colleagues. It took them over 40 minutes to seat us, and the service was a little slow. But for a set of 17 people, I guess, it does take some time to fulfill the order. We ordered flat bread Margherita, veggie burger and chicken and fries and a cheeseburger.. I feel pretty ridiculous writing a review for a chain, but this place ROCKS! They're always so nice about my veganism and the requisite accommodations. The food is delicious, even with all the crazy substitutions I have to make. I will say, however, that my husband is VERY disappointed in the new recipe for the Caesar dressing. Blech. The Fire-Roasted Corn Soup is super-delicious. The Quesadilla Explosion salad was by far my favorite thing when I was ovo-lacto-vegetarian, and I still get a modified version. One thing that strikes me about this location is the staff. Not only are the servers usually very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, but they also help each other out. I see that so rarely at restaurants. I think the last time we were there, we were checked on by three different servers AND a manager. Makes me feel valued. Since there are virtually no restaurants worth attending in High Point, please give this place a shot if you're unlucky enough to be in town. read more

I was not impressed. The waiter didn't know the price of the drinks. As a college student on a budget I like to know how much something is. The president margarita was very good though for 7.99. They couldn't make the queso without meat in it which was annoying. I don't know what Mexican restaurant can't serve plane queso. Then I wanted the normal tacos with beans instead of chicken and this seemed very difficult for them. The entire taco was the temperature of food that comes right out of the refrigerator, the beans were really could which I found disgusting and the tortillas hadn't been warmed at all they were actually very cold. We came in 2 hour wait to get old Texas cheese fries they were sitting out so they were cold and old mother asked for no jalapenos they put them on top. She ordered a separate order of fries they cut the jalapenos up and put them in the middle,the drinks were not good . The new menu is horrible. They removed most of the good items. Their old menus were much better. Their new reward system is horrid. They used to e-mail us coupons and we would go once or twice a week. Since they have changed it to earning rewards we seldom go anymore. They don't seem responsive to feed back about it. They also changed the ingredients on some of the dishes. My wife's chicken cassadeas was changed to dark meat. The first two pieces she tried to eat had big chunks of fat in them. read more

I'm giving them one star, as opposed to 0 if I could, because my boyfriend and I come here every payday as a tradition and we have never had an issue before. Tonight was a totally different story. Our server took 10 minutes to even get to our table and then wasn't seen again for another 35 minutes. I ordered the classic sirloin medium well and it came out practically raw in the middle. I sent it back and she just had them put it in the oven longer rather than making a new one. The second time it came back half of it was still not hardly cooked and the whoke thing was scorched. All I could taste was charcoal. We flagged down a manager and he said he would bring me out a new steak. Now I know they aren't a steak place but I have never had a medium well steak come out charred. The third time my brand new steak came out just so. We were done waiting around so I didn't send it back again. I would have figured they'd maybe comp us something for an incorrect steak three times but they actually brought out a check with two steaks charged. We had to send that back to get corrected and ended up paying the full price for everything after that. Now I hate to be a problem customer but this just really set me off. As a side note, once our waitress made it back to our table she told us that every single steak she had tonight was sent back. Love this place normally but if that's the new way their kitchen is being run we probably will not be back. read more

Went for an early dinner we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter was a bit getting to us but when he finally did I ordered a water. When the water came out I tasted it and it tasted awful. Like it was dirty. I then ordered a Dr. Pepper. For an appetizer we got the cheese fries with ranch. They came with jalapeños and ranch. They were by far the best part of the meal. For an entree I ordered the half ranch of ribs the sirloin and loaded mashed potatoes and south western macaroni and cheese. The ribs were ok. I was not thrilled about their choice of BBQ sauce and while they for the most part fell off the bone... They just were not tender. The steak was the same way, the cook of medium rare was good however the flavors that they used for the steak I was just not crazy about. The southwestern macaroni and cheese was absolutely awful! I only took a few bites of that. The loaded mashed potatoes were pretty decent. For dessert I ordered what they were advertising which was kind of like a lava cake except half of it was chocolate and the other half was vanilla and I guess it was supposed to have some kind of cream in the inside. It was topped with vanilla ice cream, Oreos and hot fudge. This too was just ok... The cake did not really have much flavor. The only reason this review is getting 3 stars is because of how great the cheese fries were. Will not be returning unless I want really good cheese fries! read more

Stopped here to pick up dinner on two separate occasions and both were pretty different experiences so for that, 3 stars (average) The first time, I get there and there is nobody at the desk, just a sign saying 'find the bartender.' As I'm walking around trying to find out where the bar is, I see someone asking if I need help. I tell them I'm here to pick up an order, and wait.... and wait.. and wait. Eventually someone stops by again and then they go find out what's up. Once they go over my order, turns out the soup is wrong, so I have to wait a little longer... I'm glad they go through the order with you before you pay. And the food tasted good in the end. Second time was much smoother. As soon as I went in, someone greeted me... there were a few others ahead, but they were pretty quick and got the order right this time. Also, they take HPU pass. read more

My husband and I would find ourselves in Chili's when we want something filling and quick--that's not fast food. Almost every visit I make sure to order the salsa and chips or corn on the cob. Since they came out with the Tex-Mex bowls, they have been my go to meal. Pair that up with a margarita, and I am good to go :-) the prices are very reasonable and they have something on the menu for pretty much everyone. read more
