This place is complete garbage. I had to physically walk in to grab my DoorDash order for Just Wings on 3/28/21 at 9PM. No one was working the front register. All they were doing were carrying on about some irrelevant BS and when the female with the red hair walked out, she then finally acknowledged the customer before me (who was simply waiting on sauce) then walked to the back to the kitchen to carry on her pointless conversation leaving me to wait longer. Keep in mind where I was standing the customer can see all of this. Apparently the female with red hair messed up another customers order and hung up on him. So he storms in and waits. Then he proceeds to step to the kitchen to ask for a manager, that is when two females (one being the female with red hair) working in the back yelled for him to leave the kitchen. After that the manager walks out, only then Im finally acknowledged to grab my own food from the shelf. The entire staff especially the female with the red hair needs to be fired immediately. This particular location desperately needs work! From the ongoing racism from the black workers, to the gangster rap blaring from the kitchen, to the lackluster performance of the serving staff, to the fact that more than 75% of the time the orders arrive either wrong or cold or both, this location is definitely NOT worth the visit. You would do better to hit the one out in Metairie if you want better service and food. The real shame is, I live less than 10 minutes from this location, but have to drive over 30 minutes to visit a decent one to be able to get good service and food. read more

Usually I don't ever give a chain restaurant a review. But in this case I will make an exception. I came here because this one woman I was dating at the time really wanted to go. The service in this place absolutely stinks. It took forever for the hostess to come around. Then when we got seated the waitress only came around to our table only 4 times even though the place wasn't very busy. When we got the food it was cold and wasn't done all the way. Another thing that someone else pointed out was the whole racism issue. I guess part of the reason I got such shabby treatment was because the woman I was with had a different skin color than me. I decide to try this chili's every few months, and it gets worse and worse, ESPECIALLY takeout. Every time I do takeout from this place, they always forget something...and then there is something wrong with the food. This time, the chips were stale; another time they undercooked the chicken. I was hesitant to give this place another go because years ago I visited this location & they brought out some horribly cold food. Against my will, I was forced to come here. My manfriend likes what's convenient. Chili's was open late on the westbank. Ah, perfect. But you know what, I was satisfied. They revamped their menu, like many other chain restaurants, & they're doing a good job. There's seasonal promotions which combines good eats for a pretty decent price. I went in and I sat in the bar area, which always means immediate service. I decided on the chicken quesadillas. They weren't anything special, but they were pretty good. I didn't have an issue with this because I sat at the bar, but I did notice that the bartender made a frozen margarita for someone at a table. He placed it on the bar for the waitress to pick up, and it took about 5 minutes for her to grab it. Half the drink was melted by the time the waitress brought it to the table. The last two times I did to go, I waited an additional one- two hours after my pick up time for the 2 for $25 meal (appetizer, two entrees, and dessert). After waiting an additional hour for my food. First experience: When I finally got my food. It was wrong. I asked for no bacon on my fries and my mash potatoes, & no tomatoes in my pasta. Well guess what I had bacon on both and tomatoes in the pasta. Apparently they didn't even look at the ticket. I gave them the food back to fix it. So I waited so more time. I heard the host yell at them while waiting because they put bacon on the fries again for the second time so she didn't bring it out . So finally they bring me the food for the second time. The fries and pasta are correct but I'm missing my complete second entree and dessert. So the third time, they brought back the second entree but it was missing a corn on the cob and green onions on mash. So they bring me the corn & a side of green onions . So I go home and my appetizer and first entree was now cold of course and I was still missing a dessert. This was the worse experience ever. Second experience: Waited an additional hour after my pick up time again. So I finally get the food and my appetizer is completely cold, and hard. My appetizer and the mash potatoes were both missing green onions. So I send the appetizer back and they made it again. Do you know these people put bacon on the appetizer the second time. So I waited a third time for the appetizer, and when I got it still no green onions. So I asked and they said oh we're out of green onions. I said okay wow, and what about my dessert? The only reason this place even has a star is so I can post this review..This was the worst restaurant experience ever! Went to have dinner with my family and the waitress was extremely rude and disrespectful as we were giving her our order. I understand that these are stressful times we're living in but smacking your teeth and stomping away from the table is unacceptable!!! She proceeds to go to the kitchen to let her coworkers know that we're "blowing her" (we can hear her talking shit from the table we were sitting at). So we politely asked for another waitress. As we're giving the new waitress our order, we see her lil ugly ass eyeing our table and rolling her eyes at the table where our children were sitting. We asked for the manager to inform her of her unprofessional, unpresentable, funky ass employee, and as we were sharing our story, my sister sees the waitress smacking her teeth and rolling her eyes behind the manager's back!! Then we heard another waitress (some lil white girl) in the back talking shit because we asked a simple question about the food that was brought out. It got so bad that all of us at the table screamed towards the kitchen "WE CAN HEAR Y'ALL TALKING SHIT!" Lunch time the bar is very slow only 3 people including me. I been waiting 10 min. for someone to acknowledge me. A customer walked in and sat down in the bar area and was immediately greeted. I only come here because my love of their chocolate molten lava cake, and even that is suffering. We ordered steak with mash potatoes and chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. WORSE SERVICE EVER AGAIN. On May 20, 2019 returned again to dine in at Chili's on Manhattan in Harvey, La. I would consider my wife regulars & we have tried 4 times since the last review on Dec. 27, 2019. The service hasn't changed a bit. Out of the past 4 times we were only seated 1 time and each time the place wasn't crowed or busy. This visit there were about 15-20 people inside & we were told it was a 20-30 min. wait. Not acceptable in book so we did not wait. We decided to visit FGI Friday's up the street. They were pretty busy but we were seated right away. The service was excellent & the food was very good. Next time we decided to dine out this will be our place to eat. We will not return to Chili's & would highly recommend visiting FGI Friday's instead. I even spoke to the manager @ TGI Friday's and told her of experiences with Chili's & she was glad to have us as a customer. read more

We went there because we've got a free flatbread appetizer coupon. However, the waiter said we had to order an entree to make the coupon valid. And the $20 combo meal we ordered did not count even though the coupon explicitly said no purchase was necessary. He was pretty rude about it. Ended up we had to order another salad. That was not it... Our food took forever. It ended up took us 45 minutes. Some people came in later than us finished theirs already while we were still waiting for our food. The waiter excused that it was because of the abnormal longer baking time of the flatbread. But then the minute we complained, he brought our food out 2 minutes later. I was not sure if they were lack of waiter/waitress. When we first sat down we weren't served with drinks. When we asked for silverwares they could forget about it. So it took us another 10 minutes before we could eat. Ridiculous!! As far as the quality of the food, the gorgonzola salad was great! That was the best dish during that visit. The California Chicken flatbread was ok except it was lack of toppings. I meant there were only about 2-3 pieces of chicken and avocado on the flatbread. If it was not free, we probably would not order it for $9.95. Ended up the manager came around because we complained about the food came out slow. He tried to make it up for us by giving us back the free flatbread coupon and making the flatbread free-of-charge. Seriously, why would I want my coupon back when we would never come back again? I have placed two orders through door dash with Chili's and both times I have ordered chips and salsa. Neither time did I receive my chips and salsa. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager and the girl that answered the phone demanded to know why I wanted to speak to a manager before she would put me through. I explained the situation and she put me on hold. No one ever came to the phone to speak to me. I called back and the girl that answered this time was very nice and apologized then put me on hold again. Again no one came to the phone. I am extremely unhappy with the customer service. I always go to this location, since it is my favorite and everyone there is always so nice. There is usually a guy at the hostess table and he is so nice every single. About a day ago I came to this location and there was no one at the hostess table. So I took a seat and waited for someone to come, about 10 minutes later and the hostess comes but the she walked right next to me and my partner, looked at both of us and kept walking. Acted like we were not even there. Not even a minute later another lady walked in, and the hostess immediately turned around and went to help her. Acting as if she didn't see me waiting to be sat. She helped the customer who came in after me, and gave me the worst attitude ever when she came to sit me down. Telling me there would be a 30 minute wait, when she had just seated the customer who came in after me. We both were looking for a table for 2. This was the worst experience I had at this location, and this was for sure the last time I ever went to this place. However, 10 minutes passed and no one had come out so I sent my son inside to pick it up.
