The beautiful wifey and i attended this fine establishment just as they opened for lunch. Upon walking inside we were not greeted at the door and was left unattended for a few minutes. The female bartended observed us waiting patiently and attended to us. The female bartender seated us, got our drink orders and our food order. She was very nice and attentive as she ran the whole show, seating people, taking orders, bringing out orders and making drinks. The food came out quick and was ok (its Chilis, lol). HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! We waited 20 mins to be seated when there were many tables available given they were "understaffed". We sat down ordered and waited 20 mins for fountain drinks and a water and our food didn't come till 30 mins later. I ordered fajitas and the majority of my rice was burnt and the waitress was never around to ask how the food was or how we were doing. Our server was very nice even tho she was super busy, I've been here before and never had a problem, today i order a sirloin steak, loaded mashed potatoes and street corn, the steak was completely burn on one side, when I try to cut it , it snapped , even my husband was stunned at how burnt it was, I understand that it was packed since it was Sunday and I was willing to get it fixed but then I found a hair in the loaded potatoes , after that I physically got sick, I had order a soup for my 2 year old so I didn't trust to feed her that, I show the server and she was apologetic , I left and my husband finished his burger and went to pay, they charged him $20 anyways, we order from the 2-$25 so we don't know why or how they charged us, we just wanted out of there and we didn't even made a big deal out of it. we won't be going back there read more

My husband and I tried to go on Tuesday 3.10.20. The restaurant wasn't busy. We walked in, and the hostess told us it would be a 15 minute wait. I said "okay" and my husband went to use the restroom, And the host just sat down in a booth, she didn't even take our name for the wait list. So rude and on purpose! When he came back, he suggested we sit at the bar because there were many seats open, it felt weird to have to wait. We grabbed our own menus from the host stand ( the hostess was just chilling in the booth) and sat at the bar. The bartender said she would be with us in a minute. She went back and forth to the kitchen a few times but never came back to us, so we left. We went to a Sushi place down the street instead and had great service! Saturday night we stopped in to get a quick dinner after a concert. I would like to say that the young man working the bar was new (only his third day). The employee who was tasked to train him was hardly present. He kept saying I'm gonna let him do this, he is training. He would show up to close the sale. we sat at the bar, the bar was the only business they were doing (dinning room was empty). We sat for a time before anybody greeted us. then even longer to get a menu. We got our drink order in and then ordered our food. Two burgers, an old timer and a mushroom swiss. By this time the only customers were sitting at the bar. Five or six people walked in and st at the bar and just ordered drinks. There was also a few people coming and going for take out orders. I noticed a few people expediting orders in the kitchen and a couple of cooks, but for some reason all the staff kept gathering in the kitchen. We finally got our burgers and they were really overcooked and the fries were cold. We were also never asked if we wanted a refill on our empty soda. As I was eating I kept smelling an odd smell. I am convinced that the mushrooms that were on my burger were old and black, accounting for the smell. I peeled all of the mushrooms off of my burger and asked for a doggy bag for the burger. My server had to clear a table before he could help me. I have had some terrible customer service in and New Orleans but this one was right up there at the top of the list, and the quality of the food was the worst. Worst experience I have had at a restaurant ever and I don't go in with high expectations either. Out waitress pretty much ignored us the whole time, despite the restaurant being empty, it took forever to order drinks, receive the drinks, and even get refills. She didn't get the order right (onions on a burger after saying no onions, forgot shrimp on a different order), and when it came time for the check, we had to go through everything with her twice. She then sat there and HOVERED while pretending to clear plates so she could see if we tipped her or not... Unbelievable. Some people's food was cold and unappetizing, the "brisket" that came with the smokehouse combo was cold, chewy, and two TINY slices and my husband and I were both sick the next day after eating it. The ladies bathroom also had puke all over multiple stalls... Makes me wonder if someone ate the brisket earlier... The only positive experience out of this whole mess was that I reported the horrific experience to corporate and they comped it for us because they said the behavior and state of our visit was abhorrent. By far the WORST service I've have ever received. We chose to come here instead of T.G.I. Friday's. HUGE MISTAKE. After a 45 minute wait we finally got seated. I can only guess that they were short staffed. The waitress takes our drink order and apps. We had a code for free chips and salsa, Queso, Guac. We go for the queso. And we get a bowl of SHIT I swear it looks like diahrrea in thinking maybe it's choriqueso. I taste it and it just tastes odd. At this point we are all looking confused. I ask the waitress what kind of yeso it was she replies with ' it has some meat or chili style or something' when I asked if I could just get the regular queso she says that's the queso that comes with the free chips. we ate the salsa that came with the chips instead. She seemed annoyed. We asked for water and an order of mash for the toddler that we had with us and I had a side of loaded mash. We get the sides about 20 mins later. Entrees show up about 30-45 mins after that. Our drink cups were pretty much empty and she only refilled them once. We never got the cups of water we asked for and I was never asked if I wanted another beer. The rice that came with the shrimp fajita style was crunchy and hard literally dry from either sitting it the steamwell too long or sitting in the heat lamp. I honestly DO NOT PLAN ON COMING BACK. I don't know why this place has such low ratings but I personally think it deserves a 3 at most. It's located right by a shopping area next to canes. Parking is easy to find as it is in a private lot. Upon opening the front doors, there's a little bench area/"lobby" that you go through to go through a next set of doors to the restaurant itself. I noticed that the bench was dusty or dirty.. so it isn't too clean I guess. Now entering into the restaurant itself, there was two groups in front of us. After us, there was another two groups that came in. As the previous reviewers wrote, the service is slow. When we came in, there was no hostess around. It took her 3-5 minutes to come to the front to finally start seating people (the 2 groups in front of us). When we were seated, it wasn't too long before our waitress came to take our drink/food orders. I've eaten here a few times before back in California and maybe once here in the same location. My food experience is the same as usual. My friend and I ordered the 2 for $20 deal (2 entrees and 1 appetizer) - good deal! We both ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Strippers. It's a bit spicy but it was good! It came with the chicken strips, a cob of corn peppered (yums!), and fries. Our waitress checked on us a few times so her service was okay I guess. I found it weird that when she came to refill our drinks, she ended up pouring the drink into our cups from another (filled) cup. Usually the waiters I experience with just gives me a new (filled) cup and take away my old one. Knocked off one star for slow customer service and another for it not being too clean I guess. I personally just think it was an A-OK experience. There's also a bar side to this restaurant on the right side. There's happy hours I think later at night, forgot the times. Another party sat at the table next to us about 10 minutes later. That group was done with their food & paid their bill while we were still waiting on our food. Did not enjoy the food here one bit! Personally, rarely do I ever go to these franchise-type of diners, but since my cousin insisted us to go to try out the burgers, I was like why not. We started off with the white spinach cheese dip with our chips, and to be bluntly, it tasted awful! Barely any spinach at all with one single piece of asparagus hidden somewhere in the cheese. The guacamole was apparently a single slice of avocado that wasn't even mixed well with the pico de gallo, not to mention there was barely any pico de gallo and guac. The cheese itself was all liquid and not creamy at all. The complimentary salsa tasted better than this spinach cheese dip that nearly cost us $7. We then got the sweet and smoky burger and the southern style hamburger with a side of onion rings for one of them, which at first glance looked tasty but was not the case at all. Each burger was super dry, like one of the driest burgers I have ever tasted and was borderline burnt. The fries and onion rings had no flavor to them whatsoever, and it was like the cook just put them in the fryer. Like really? I can just go to Walmart, buy some fries and onion rings, and do that myself for much cheaper. At the end, our bill was almost $37 for two burgers with a side of onion rings for one of them ($1 extra), white spinach cheese dip, and a coke; which is one RIDICULOUS bill that should have been under $30 for the quality of food we were getting. Walking over to the appointed table I asked can I be seated near the tv with CNN, but he said the area was closed but clearly it was folks sitting over there , so then I asked due to the riots that's going on is it possible to change 1 of the tv over where was sitting, he said we are not allowed to watch new on any of the TVs it was company policy. In town for Monday night football and my kids want Chilis. This location is filthy. The bathrooms and kitchen look horrible. Unfortunately we had already ordered before I saw kitchen and my kids were " starving" in kids language. The food arrived and it was all bad. Beyond the food we did not even have napkins to use with our utensils. As for our server she was wonderful, polite and apologetic about the entire experience. I've been coming here for over 10 years now and, although the service has been very good most of the time, it seems the quality of the food is going south. I normally love anything I get off the menu (although the steak fajitas were my favorite). But lately nothing has been very impressive. We ordered chicken enchiladas and a salad with chicken tenders or strips. The enchiladas were over cooked and appeared as if they had been sitting for a while. My wife said that her salad wasn't very good either. Maybe this has something to do with the pandemic and how they have to prepare things, but still... This is probably the worst location I have ever been to. No one answers the phone. Called to see what the wait was and there was no answer for 20 minutes until I hung up. Assuming they were just busy, we arrive to see no line, the hostess on her phone just hanging out and being obnoxious. So just to prove a point I called as we were standing in the restaurant, no one was even bothered by the ringing phone. They didn't want to stop their conversations to answer the call. Rewind to a couple weeks ago - there was MULTIPLE open tables and plenty of servers, yet the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. We put in the request and got the text alerts for a table. An hour and a half went by and still no text message. We walked back inside and there was still a "45 minutes wait". They need new management or a brand new floor staff. read more

We went to use the restroom and it was horrible, dirty, there were three stalls only one was working and two were out of order. We went to wash our hands there was no soap or water.
