We started with the Southwest eggrolls which were pipping hot, and delicious. I ordered the honey chipotle crispers with a side of fries and broccoli. While the fries could have been a little more fresher the broccoli was steamed and seasoned just right. The service was great. First let me say, I totally understand the food and staff shortages in many restaurants and how incredibly hard it is to retain staff. So I'm thankful for those who worked tonight so I didn't have to cook. Those issues aside, the quality of the food tonight was quite underwhelming. I have to say, the last few times we ordered, everything was awesome. I ordered $90 worth of take out this evening and I'm not happy that some of the foods' preparations were subpar. I ordered a small party patter of ribs but they were sold out so I got a refund. I then ordered the small fajita party platter and egg rolls and a few of those items had issues. The black beans were tasty and the steak was seasoned, tender and juicy. The Mexican rice was horribly hard and inedible with no flavor but the grilled veggies were good. The chicken was unevenly cook, more like char-burnt not char--grilled (on three filets). I was missing guacamole and lettuce but was loaded down with plenty of tortillas. But SO SO sad my chicken pasta (which I think was supposed to be shrimp) was so dang salty- they need not put that seasoning on top or put just a sprinkle, you can tell its canned sauce already, don't add more salt- I didnt eat it. Decided to have chili's for lunch today. Wish I hadn't. I ordered after I left the house (15 min drive) so it'd be just finished when I got there or I'd have to wait briefly for it. I arrive and I watch them package it before I tell them it's mine. I drive 15 mins home and the food is ICE cold. Not 15 mins drive home cold, ICE COLD. The chicken crispers were also very tough and rubbery, couldn't take but a single bite of that. Fries were stale. Sliders were soggy. Curbside To-Go was horrible. I received an email for a birthday dessert, so I decided "why not". I placed a curbside order at around 10:55. The website said the food would be ready between 11:23pm - 11:30. That made me nervous, because they close for midnight and I know how restaurants and fast food behave when they're about to close. There was an employee car parked in one of the curbside to go orders, which was an omen of what was to come. Also seeing the employee run back and forth to the car, then immediately going back to customers was weird. No hand washing involved. Nevertheless, I checked in on the website and begin my wait. I actually had arrived a bit early, since I was already in the area. I didn't expect the food until the time window the website provided. Another car pulled up and began waiting. The driver waited about 8 minutes and then go out of their car to approach the to-go door. A lady came out and gave them their order. This gave me the idea she would soon be out with my order. I was wrong. They left and another car came. He immediately went to get his order. Then he left. It's now in the 11:40s and I'm wonder if they mistakenly gave my order away or what's wrong. I get out of my car and limp over to get my order. Yes, limp, curbside togo appealed to me because Im recovering from a leg injury. The lady at the desk asked if I'm paying with cash or card, but I paid when I placed my order. She thing fidgeted with the computer, mumbled something and began to walk off. I ask "is everything okay"? She said yes, so I took my food. This is the season finale, right here! I had ordered my free dessert which was the chocolate chip cookie that comes with ice cream. I also ordered the triple dipper, customized it to have bone in wings, sliders, and the southwest rolls. Everything was COLD to the touch, except the ice cream! The sliders were stuck together, like if they used one patty and just put the bread around it, the wings were cold like Elsa on Frozen. The ice cream looked like a milkshake. The cookie had paper stuck to it. Not to mention, I fiddled with the sliders only to see the meat was PINKKKK. I was so infuriated I threw everything away. I should've taken pictures, but that would've only led me to post in on every platform. Either my food was ready before I arrived or they gave me old food that was sitting out. Ice cream usually isn't packaged, until the food is heading to the customer. It was cool inside the restaurant, outside, and in my car for the quick ride. All burgers can be substituted for a turkey patty or black bean patty. So the vegetarians and vegans have more options than fries and salads! The Greeter tells both the group of 4 and two respectively that there's few wait staff and it'll take 10-15 minutes to seat them. 20 minutes later the two parties ahead of me got seated as I sat and watched 4 different parties, (12 other patrons) come in and leave after being told the same thing by the Greeter. Looks like the restaurant has been remodeled in the last couple of years, from what I could see was very clean.
