I am not sure what it is. I didn't order one jumbo tortilla filled with caca. for those who don't speak Spanish.

Unimpressed I ordered m15. 2 fajitas burritos. I asked for steak. It came with no salsa. I added it. I ended up with a loaded burrito with beans and bell peppers and onions. Half way in I finally came across the chicken. I hate refried beans. I wouldn't order anything with refried beans. This is not what I ordered. Not what I wanted and to top it off it is a nice lukewarm warm.

We went here last Friday for lunch. Although there was only 1 waitress she did not miss a beat. Our drinks came quickly and food shortly afterwards. The margaritas were on point and the food was pretty good. I was on the fence after reading other reviews but glad we gave it try.

    Nacho cheese was my own.

I'm giving two stars based on food. My boyfriend got the steak fajitas and I got the shedded beef quesadilla. I have tried 5 Mexican restaurants in the West Bank and this restaurant is the cheapest which is a plus being inexpensive but sadly, the food was not good. This is my least favorite one out of all the Mexican restaurants I had. The refried beans tasted like water down. The steak fajitas was the worst fajitas and the steak looks old. It lacks flavor. I like the customer services. The staffs were friendly and greeted me but the food need to be improve. I'd rather go to Taco Bell. I'm wondering if I should give it a second chance and order something else.

    Dry Enchilada

Rice was uncooked. Asked for beef fajita enchiladas, they were ground beef and was not mentioned that it would be ground beef. If your looking for boiled chicken quesadillas this is your place!!!!! Chicken was boiled and looks pink. Enchiladas were very dry This place is horrible NEGATIVE STARSSSS

This is an uneaten plate of chicken and steak fajitas. It's full of onions and peppers.

Went in about 8:45p closing time was 10pm. Seating was very limited due to no bus boys so tables were dirty and since servers had to clean they were waiting until closing time. There were only about 4 other tables with customers of 2-4 guest and food took a long time to come out. Once it did, my chicken and shrimp fajita dish had only 2 shrimp on it. The other chicken and steak fajitas dish had no chicken.

I really hate leaving a bad review but I was sooo disappointed with their food . I think they are under a new management because I don't remember their food being this bad !

Where do I begin? I was really in the mood for a quesadilla and chips and salsa. This place was across from the theater we were at. We got seated right away and our drink orders were taken. They have Pacifico on draft for $2.50. Say what!!! That was the biggest plus. My sis and I shared some gauc which was delish! My sister's chile relleno had a huge peice of plastic in it. I get things like this happen but the waitress didn't seem all that apologetic about it which makes me wonder how often this happens. She did bring a new one out though. I got a shrimp quesadilla and a chicken quesadilla to go for the hubs. One of my shrimp was completely raw. The rest of the shrimp were okay but could have been cooked longer. The food was mediocre at best. The chips were thick and bland. The salsa was just ok. The hubs was not pleased with his chicken quesadilla. The only thing I plan to return for is the gauc and $2.50 Pacifico!

Large waiting area to stand and wait near the hostess station. Also has a bar area which looks like first come, first serve. We ordered drinks while we waited and hung out in the lobby area. Finally we were sat. Complimentary chips and salsa were brought right away. We Ordered drinks and the chorizo queso, which came fairly quickly. The queso is HOT, bubbling in a volcanic rock molcajete. Sooo good. Strongly suggest this item! I ordered the Tacos Tijuana (lengua). My husband ordered grilled fish tacos and an ala carte cheese quesadilla. The food was great. Lengua was a little dry- I know it's lean but it was not as juicy and gamey as I like. No other complaints except the guacamole that came with my tacos tasted artificial or "off". It also stayed very green throughout the meal which tells me there is either a lot of lemon or it is premade with something to make it not oxidate like fresh avocados. It was just not great guacamole. The frijoles charro on the other hand were excellent! Lots of flavor, pork, cooked nicely and seasoned well. I could eat that by itself. I will for sure be back.

Also got some pupusas which we ate 4 days later and they were still awesome. The avocado/jalapeño salsa they give you on the side is great. Today I wanted something different and inexpensive. I checked Yelp, saw it was right there, and had to talk myself into it because I eat tacos ALL the time... like I'm lowkey taco'd out. But something about authentic tacos on corn from a lil shack like this? They hit different. So I went with my move. I looked at the menu and saw tongue tacos... and that sold me Mind you, I NEVER had tongue before. But I said I wanted something different, so let's stand on that. Pulled up around lunch--about 3 people waiting. There's an option to call ahead too. I waited a few minutes, but they acknowledged me quick, and you could tell they were working, so I wasn't tripping. Ordered 3 tacos: tongue (of course), shredded beef, and pork. Threw in pupusas because why not--it's been years. And a melon juice. Total was about $29, got my number, waited maybe 8-10 minutes. When they handed me the bag... it had a little weight on it I already knew. I ate in my car since there's no real inside seating, and started with the pork taco. Now listen... pork tacos can be DRY. I don't really order them for that reason. But THIS one?? Juicyyyyy. Like juices-on-my-shirt type juicy (I'm too grown for that ). Flavor was there, shredded perfect--they changed my whole outlook on pork tacos. Then I tasted the other two because they looked similar. First one ended up being the tongue... and babyyyy. Tender. Soft. It reminded me of goat--real rich and flavorful. I can't even believe I tried it, let alone LIKED it. I'm officially sold. The beef was good too, but after that tongue taco? It was hard to compete, I'm not even gonna lie. That red salsa? Flavorful with a kick. I love spice... but spice don't always love me back Still worth it. The melon juice started off a little grainy (you can tell it's real fruit), but once it settled, it smoothed out. Super refreshing. Now them pupusas... I did NOT expect two. That's why the bag felt like that Stuffed with meat and cheese, crispy on the outside, soft inside. Came with the pickled cabbage/carrot mix and that tomato-based sauce--everything worked together. Not spicy, just balanced. Only thing I'd note--no prices listed, but for everything I got (plus that big 32oz drink), it was honestly worth it.

So I ordered the barbacoa tacos. My husband ordered the birria burrito and we got loaded fries with al pastor. Server brought out his beer, but didn't bring a bottle opener. Then she brought out chips and salsa bottles, but no dish to put the salsa in. The wine opener and menus stayed on the table the whole time until I handed them back to her when the food arrived. She also did not bring napkins so we grabbed the paper towel roll off of the bar counter top. She did tell us at the end while we were cashing out that she is new. The food itself was really good! I thought the tacos were excellent- the barbacoa was juicy and seasoned well - perfect little street tacos! My husband enjoyed his burrito- it was solid. I ate the other half for dinner later. The loaded fries were ok. The al pastor meat was the best part. We were already full so ate about half the fries. Overall not a horrible experience because the food was very good. Casual dive atmosphere - 2 tvs were on but were. It working and the screen was all pixelated.

Clean dining area with lots of natural light. (Yes, this is a thing for me.)
