Barbocoa taco was yummy. I also got the chicken quesadillas which was yummy but a little greasy and super cheesy but had great flavor. I would eat here again and just try something different.

If you know me, I love my food HOTTT. These AUTHENTIC tacos came out quick. Perfectly seasoned. $3 a taco, you can't beat that! This place is close to my Job, so I wanted to try it out. Will for sure be back! If you're nearby, stop by and get some tacos.

Grilled chicken and shrimp with rice, beans, salad, and tortillas portions are huge!

Asada tacos are the best here amazing quality meat with a nice juicy crisp! Corn or flour (I like to mix cuz their cuz flour tacos are bigger) Huge burritos...La paradilla mix (chicken, steak, and shrimp) and Mixta Pupusas are also great! One of my fav places! I've been to all of the locations and they're all the same food quality and delicious...taco trucks and restaurants on east bank, Westbank, Laplace, Belle chasse, Port Sulphur, and Baton Rouge! You know they're doing it right with that many. Service is quick here and it's a taco stand outside with like 3 seats, plenty of parking, and a drive thru window.

So peep we had 4 el pastors and a quesadilla all for $24. Ts and as good as hell!

Brudda we had 4 el pastors and a quesadilla all for $24. That shi too good! And that bih don't take long at all.

Three barbacoa tacos with added cheese! $10.50

Best barbacoa tacos I've ever had in my life. I actually had to write this review after finishing my tacos because I actually seen heaven. To be even more dramatic, I actually ascended out of my body. The way that the beef melts in your mouth is insane. I've had so many tacos in my lifetime, and it's upsetting when they're so dry or mediocre. BUT, this right HERE? I had to close my eyes for each bite. I want to actually hug whoever marinates and slow cooks their beef. This place is super authentic and obviously makes their food with love. I've had the barbacoa tacos 3 separate times so far, and it doesn't matter when I get these tacos, it always tastes the exact same and are made to PERFECTION. Their consistency is on 10! It is a small taco stand, but they are so quick when making your food. I'll take this spot over any Taco Tuesday place any day. Also, super affordable! My total was $10.50, and I added cheese. So, only $3.50 for each taco! You have my heart, La Conquistadora!

I love the convenience of being able to get my food without even having to get out of my car! The food is also delicious. I have never been disappointed with anything that I've gotten here. Their salsa verde is good and spicy! Everything is also made super quick and you're on your way.

I was really intrigued to try this place because I was trying to find a good burrito/taco stand place. Today I ordered the al pastor burrito and the carne asada taco. Both entree were packed with meat worth the price. The al pastor meat was tender but it lacked flavor as well as the carne asada. I was a bit disappointed.

Owned by the same folks as Taqueria Sanchez but the Carne Asada burrito was better here. At Taqueria Sanchez the meat was over cooked. I tried the flautas which came with a nice plate of beans, rice and salad. But, I'd stick with the burrito next time.

Burrito with Al Pastor and everything. Try the creamy Salsa Verde (green sauce). Perfect kick for chile heads.

What can I say? I love a good taco hut and this is as good as it gets. They are riding that sweet spot between the outdoor eating area of a taco truck with the brick and mortar quality food. I always stop by here on my way back from the West-bank and I always look forward to it. They have perfected the creamy salsa verde which is plenty spicy for even a seasoned chile-head like myself. Friendly staff and very quick service. The parking lot next door is a sketchy pop-up car wash and the car wash owner will quickly tell you that you're parking on "his lot". Worth the drive, worth the money, worth every bite! Can't say enough good things about this place!

Shredded beef(desebrada) tacos. Had two fajita tacos as well but I already ate them! The green sauce is a nice spicy touch.

Fajita and shredded beef meat on tacos get two thumbs up! Plus the lady working was very nice. Will return!

    Chicken and pork tacos$2.50 each

First visit here and ordered 2 chicken tacos and 2 pork tacos. Sorry to say but I was not impressed. The meat tasted real bland and dry. The mustard sauce that came with it tasted pungent. I added some ranch dressing that I had in my fridge to give it some flavor. I really wanted to like this place bc the ladies working there are so nice. But for $2.50 per taco, I rather go to a Mexican restaurant on taco Tuesday for a better deal.

I am seriously addicted to this place's tacos...

Great little spot for tacos on the go. I had the barbacoa and they were fantastic. The service was quick and price was fair. I will repeat.

Large waiting area to stand and wait near the hostess station. Also has a bar area which looks like first come, first serve. We ordered drinks while we waited and hung out in the lobby area. Finally we were sat. Complimentary chips and salsa were brought right away. We Ordered drinks and the chorizo queso, which came fairly quickly. The queso is HOT, bubbling in a volcanic rock molcajete. Sooo good. Strongly suggest this item! I ordered the Tacos Tijuana (lengua). My husband ordered grilled fish tacos and an ala carte cheese quesadilla. The food was great. Lengua was a little dry- I know it's lean but it was not as juicy and gamey as I like. No other complaints except the guacamole that came with my tacos tasted artificial or "off". It also stayed very green throughout the meal which tells me there is either a lot of lemon or it is premade with something to make it not oxidate like fresh avocados. It was just not great guacamole. The frijoles charro on the other hand were excellent! Lots of flavor, pork, cooked nicely and seasoned well. I could eat that by itself. I will for sure be back.

Liked some about it. The top shelf margarita large is $19.99 and not huge but kind of weak…read more(couldn't taste any tequila and margaritas are MY drink.). And WARM. Hate the plastic glasses, but at least get the drink cold. COLD. An on-the-rocks margarita is not supposed to be lukewarm. This was. I strained into my water glass and added ice, let it cool, and poured it back in the margarita glass. There were three of us and two of our three orders came out wrong (one specifically asked for NO cheese and it was covered in it). Mine was a "Caesar" in menu name only. A Caesar is a RECIPE. Imagine ordering chicken cordon bleu and getting pork, bacon and cheddar. Or a BLT and getting salami, avocado, and bell peppers. That's what it is like when you order a Caesar and it's not a Caesar. It was that far off of what a Caesar is. Call it an El Patron Chef Salad. Call it a House Salad. But a Caesar doesn't have avocado, tortilla strips (???), red onions and tomatoes. What it does have? Dressing. This one did not and was room temperature. Even with the dressing (which obviously isn't homemade but was serviceable) still not a Caesar. Caesars in good restaurants are on a chilled plate but that's minor (this was frankly out-of-the-dishwasher warm) compared to it NOT BEING a Caesar. Wasn't very busy (we were in the big room with all the slices of trees on the wall) had about five tables and 15-17 people total? Service was pretty slow. The server was very nice, but the fact that I'm having to tell the server that a Caesar is supposed to have Caesar dressing (which they do carry. The kitchen just hadn't put it on anywhere on the salad.) speaks to a lack of training. Salsa was average, but not exceptional. Overall, completely middle of the road. I'm Coloradan and I'm used to amazing Mexican food and this was below average. Hence the three stars. If Yelp had a 1-10 scale it would get a 3 or 4.

We were sat at a table that was very wobbly - I kept worrying my water cup was going to spill. Server brought menus. I was told they did not have lengua or tripas today. So I ordered the barbacoa tacos. My husband ordered the birria burrito and we got loaded fries with al pastor. Server brought out his beer, but didn't bring a bottle opener. Then she brought out chips and salsa bottles, but no dish to put the salsa in. The wine opener and menus stayed on the table the whole time until I handed them back to her when the food arrived. She also did not bring napkins so we grabbed the paper towel roll off of the bar counter top. She did tell us at the end while we were cashing out that she is new. The food itself was really good! I thought the tacos were excellent- the barbacoa was juicy and seasoned well - perfect little street tacos! My husband enjoyed his burrito- it was solid. I ate the other half for dinner later. The loaded fries were ok. The al pastor meat was the best part. We were already full so ate about half the fries. Overall not a horrible experience because the food was very good. Casual dive atmosphere - 2 tvs were on but were. It working and the screen was all pixelated.

Clean dining area with lots of natural light. (Yes, this is a thing for me.) Husband had the Crispy Flautas w/chicken, and I went for the Trio Plate with a chicken quesadilla, a pork pupusa and a beef enchilada with the green salsa as recommended by Rosalinda. When the plate came out, I thought I was in heaven! My husband enjoyed his flautas, and I loved what I ordered! I wish I had taken a picture because it was beautiful, but I dove right in. Each item was exactly one person size, so I ate without overeating and didn't feel like I wasted anything. Four stars is simply for the rice and beans being "lackluster," (maybe offer an alternative, like a salad or cup of soup?), and once people started coming in - and they did - service got a bit stretched.
