Always pass this place up thinking the patio looks nice, so my mom and I decided to stop in on Good Friday. We sat on the patio because of the nice weather. Our waitress gave us some chips and salsa. It was fine, salsa was a little peppery (not necessarily spicy, but a good bit of black pepper). Since it was Good Friday we ordered seafood dishes. My mom ordered the shrimp taco salad and I ordered some shrimp tacos. When my mom ordered the waitress asked what kind of dressing she wanted, but when she brought it out she didn't tell my mom they already put a dressing on the salad. So the other dressing wasn't needed. My shrimp tacos were okay but needed a sauce to go on them. I asked the waitress and she said she could bring me one of the sauces they had, but that it'd be 50 cent. I still decided to get it and it added some flavor/moisture to the tacos. This place has some cute photo worthy areas. I've attached pics of 2 of them, but there's also a swing to take a pic by. When I went inside to take a pic of the chair with the tequila made me do it sign, there was a good bit of fruit flies around there which was aggravating as I had to keep trying to swat them away as I took the picture. read more

I've been wanting to try here after trying them at Top Taco last year. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was empty so I was able to find a table very easily. They also have outside seating. Service was fast and attentive. I ordered the brirra tacos and they came out in a flash. They were amazing and hot! I definitely need to go back and try some of their other menu items. read more

Got here a little after 2pm on a Sunday for a late lunch. We were the only people there, but it was a strange time to be eating, so that wasn't surprising. There's a nice looking covered patio out front, which I made a mental note of for warmer weather. We opted to sit at a table by one of the front windows. It was cute, like a small picnic table, but people had carved messages all over the tabletop. Anyway, my friend liked the salsa they brought with the chips, and actually liked the restaurant water; noteworthy since she can be picky. I got the chicken milanesa, which was tasted good but was obviously made with white meat. It wasn't dry for white meat chicken, but I usually prefer dark meat it was definitely drier than dark meat. The issue was easily remedied with ketchup, which the waitress brought in a little cup upon request. So, to sum up: the waitress was attentive and professional, parking was easy, the food was fine, and I did end up with a take-home box. But we were the only customers at the time, I did end up getting ketchup for my chicken, and the prices seemed a touch high. I'll need to go again during normal dining hours to get a better verdict. read more

Good food. The food was tasty but they were out of the fried fish. Which btw says fried red snapper and in the description below it says it's a fried redfish? Anyway I got the redfish Cancun which had pico, chz and lots of tender cooked vegetables. My daughter got an American taco which is kinda like taco bell style. Hubby ended up with the chicken in poblano sauce I believe it was. Very tasty as well with lots of melted white chz and poblano peppers over a fillet of grilled chicken. My other daughter got the pollo gratinado which had the chicken fillet covered in onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, chorizo, bacon & melted chz. It was also tasty. The rice I didn't care for. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I been! As a Mexican it does talk a lot about drinks and has the true Mexican sprits but I think it needs something's about Mexican history to go with the vibe. I got the quesabirria and was super good I couldn't finish it and was crispy! The service was very good. They gave my little brothers some coins to play claw machine and gave them a dollar. Yesterday was my dad birthday and the sang the Las Mañanitas for my dad that was turning 55 and gave him a cake with a sombrero and we had fun with family! I had the red snapper Cancun and let me tell you - it's a masterpiece of seafood under a blanket of cheese on perfectly prepared and seasoned red snapper! Staff are friendly, caring, authentic and efficient, without being pushy or flirty. Really great people! We stayed to watch a saints game and they welcomed us for long after our meal was over! There is just something to be said about hospitality, and they say it loud and clear. Eating at burritos grill is t going out to eat, it's like eating with family. The restaurant is very loud and the seating is very close. Too many tables for the space. They have these annoying flashing lights that have no purpose. The service is a bit slow and our waitress did not speak English very well. I do not think the wait staff has much experience. Orders keep being sent to the wrong tables. Parking is limited. By far our worst dining experience! Our waitress came promptly right when arriving but after that took forever. We ate a large queso completely before (at least 30 mins) she came back and asked if we needed anything. I replied with to order our food. She said another waitress would come. Another 10 minutes later we finally ordered. We almost walked out but we were committed with our 4 kids starving. We finally got our food and absolutely no apology the whole time. $137 later! Kid meals were overpriced for such small portions compared to El Paso. Also side note I had 2 margaritas. They were very weak! Sounds silly but I would have left with feeling it but nothing. My fiancé and I ate here for the first time last week and were very happy with our experience. We had the Fajita Fries for our appetizer, the Birria tacos for our meal (we shared an order because the fries were huge) and then the tres leches for desert. All very good. We went around 2-3 in the evening and were the second table sat. By the time we left the place was almost full. The bartender doubled as our server, she was attentive and friendly. Food wise the prices are about average for the area. We went during happy hour so the drinks were discounted. You do have to pay $1 extra to add flavor to your margarita. read more

We ordered a chicken quesadilla, burrito California with chicken, and chips + guac and queso. Pros: *portion sizes were fabulous *burrito was great and the Ingredients were mixed unlike chipotle where you get one ingredient per bite *quesadilla was great *queso was great for me but I could see why some people might not like it. I have been there three times. The food wasn't so great but I thought it was a =n off day, that happens. The last time I ordered to go. I got the fajitas combo plate and I got my a chimichanga. I paid extra $2.50 to have queso put over my chimichanga. I drive all they way home to find that they didn't put the tortillas in my husbands fajitas and they didn't put any sauce on my chimi. it was dried out. I was so angry after spending $40 and leaving a $10 tip to not get what I paid for.. I called and all the girl would say that that I could come back and get the tortillas. no sorry or nothing,. if i could do zero star i would! i got asked to move from a big table to a small table because they had a family coming in shortly. This was AFTER i was done eating my chips and guacamole & just waiting on my tacos to come out. I told her i didnt like small tables and told her to simply put two tables together for whoever was coming. Her reply was "well theres this big table already" referring to the one i was seating in! i was getting ready to tell her to cancel my entry and leave when she gave a half turn and walked away with an attitude! Never in my life had id been asked to move from a table, especially after already started munching out. That server went on to moving two tables together like i had told her to do and u could tell she was doing it with an attitude. She looked over to me once or twice with an bad attitude facial expression! A different server brought my food but by then id lost all appetite. This be the last time i ever go there! So if u plan to go there and sit on one of the bigger tables by yourself, be prepared to asked to move... on another note. guacamole on the menu is listed 5.50 and got charged 6.50 & the birria tacos are listed at $15 and got charged $16 for them. i felt had to mention this even tho i dont have a problem with inflation prices, but might as well let you know b4 your check looks a bit higher than expected. read more
