Trio fajitas
Santos S.

As for food it was ok , the avocado dip was good , but not in photo . The fajitas were ok , the meat was pre marinated but wasn't something I would order again. My wife had the burger and it was huge , it tasted like the meat needed seasoning but still very filling . Also we had the pork tamale with no sauce on it and it was actually pretty good.

This is a very casual spot and they have so much food to choose from. I've been here 3 times so far and everything I've gotten was really good. My favorite has been the Birria pizza. The margaritas are HUGE and they are really good.

Chicken tortilla soup and Birria Tacos. Absolutely delicious!
Terrance D.

I've had chicken tortilla soup many times at other places, but this was the best I've ever had. Seasoned, savory and tangy with delicious shredded chicken, creamy avocado slices, crispy tortilla strips with cheese & chopped tomatoes/onions. We also tried the birria tacos and it was also the best I've ever had. Outstanding meal all-around.

I just visited this place on Friday. It's a hidden jewel. I would never think to go to this area. I found out about it from someone who used to bartend here. The food is good, service is quick, and the margaritas are some of the best I've had. I love introducing friends to this place to see their expression. Looks can be deceiving. The outside isn't the most inviting but the food and experience are with it.

Fantastic restaurant!!
Toni S.

I wish that there were more stars! From the clean, warm, welcoming atmosphere, to the customer service, it's just fantastic. And then there's the food!!! Excellent! Fresh ingredients and large portions. Laila was our server and she truly went above and beyond. I definitely recommend this place!!!

I had a fajita with shrimp. I think they gave me at least 10 or maybe a grill dozen of beautiful shrimp. Very flavorful!!

I started with their housemade hibiscus margarita with a tajin rim instead of salt. I thought it was good and not too sweet. The tacos, to me, were delicious. I think they have an option for anyone and they have some pretty unique combos. I loved the Korean inspired taco and their classic brisket taco. I did go for the tacos but I did get to try their guacamole and the amazeballs. The guac was not the best and you don't get much -- could've used more seasoning. I liked the amazeballs + they come with a really good chipotle aioli. I think this place has some things to work on while they get situated from reopening but I do think they have some great tacos!

'Love the small and very colorful, mom and pop feel of the place. We avoid chain restaurants like the plague and really like supporting small, unique places like this. They make hands down the best traditional margaritas we have found anywhere here in town. Not fancy, but always very delicious, made with fresh lime juice -- not some syrupy over sweet mix -- flavorful tequila and served in a plastic cup with ice, filled absolutely to the brim every time. At happy hour, which is 3 to 6 pm, they are just $4. We usually get the authentic South American tacos served with corn tortillas, choice of meat, diced onions and cilantro, with the most delicious home made salsa verde (spicy green sauce). The carnitas (pork) is my fav. Usually five for just $11 or $12. A lovely place for tacos and tasty margaritas. Pics below -- 2 plates of 5 tacos each containing carnitas tacos, chicken tacos and shrimp tacos with margarita (partially consumed) in upper right.

Could tell they might have been a bit busier than expected, because some of the tables still needed to be cleaned. With this in mind, service was still very good. Waitresses were tag teaming the tables, which I love to see - customers before egos. Drinks were brought quickly and never ran dry. Chips were good, though we added salt. Salsa was very good - flavorful and not burn your mouth - and when our cheese dip arrived, I was in love! :) I'm not a big cheese dip fan, but this white dip was just SO good. Husband got 3 shredded beef tacos ($2.50 ea) with usual toppings ($.35). They were nice size and tasty. I ordered the Louisiana Burrito ($10) and sides of rice and beans. The rice was good, the beans I could pass; just not the texture I like. Now the burrito...my husband saw it coming first, and I heard him say, "Oh my God." I didn't know what he was talking about, then I saw it. It was HUGE - literally as big as the plate. They warn it's a 12" burrito. I really, really enjoyed it, but I took 1/2 home. Even reheated, I couldn't finish it. (NOTE: If you reheat, remove the potatoes/french fries or add salsa - they dried out in the fridge.) Check out was quick. Did we like it? Yes. Did we return? Yes. Ordered take out later in the week with beef tacos again, cheese dip, and the pork tamale. Now this tamale I like! It didn't have the traditional corn husk exterior that tends to get soggy or dry. I don't know what it was made of, but it was totally worth the $3 a la carte price. My next trip I'm going to try the chicken tacos with pineapple. Yum!

Spending so much time in New York, I've probably had better, but the food here is still good. This is a small chain (NOLA, Metairie, Baton Rouge, West Palm Beach), outfitted with neon, murals, and pink flowers. The menus are high tech and light up when you open them. We started with the queso fundido, with melted mozzarella, chorizo, pico de gallo, and microgreens. Comes with corn or flour tortillas. It was cheesy and tasted great. They also provide chips and a flight of three salsas. Salsas all had completely different flavors and spice levels, so I enjoyed that. Other options are guacamole (with or without short rib), plain queso dip, short rib bites, and oysters rockefeller. Selections include various tacos. I had the birria tacos, which are served in a dramatic fashion, hanging from a line over the tray, which contained the consomme, salsas, rice, and refried beans. They were juicy and savory and the accompaniments hit the spot. Though I've probably had better birria elsewhere . . . not sure you'll find any better or authentic anywhere in New Orleans. My husband had the fish tacos (ensenada), crispy and covered in cilantro, payo, pickled cabbage, avocado, and pico de gallo. The fish was light and the pickled slaw added just the right amount of brightness and acidity. They also have mushroom tacos, chicken, bone marrow wagyu, carnitas, shrimp, and more. They serve larger main dishes including fajitas, carne asada, barbacoa, burritos, enchiladas, and more. They have a great drink menu with the expected margaritas and mezcal as well as some fancy specialty drinks. I has the Hasta el Agua Del Florero, which is vodka, bombay, lemon juice, pineapple juice, and watermelon syrup. It was good, but also 20 dollars. The margaritas of course come a little cheaper at 13 bucks and are decent. Some people complained about service. It wasn't busy when we stopped in, but our server stayed on top of things, the table was always bussed, he kept checking to make sure everything was to our liking. We had no server issues at all. Not sure this would be the top of my list to try of all the choices in New Orleans, but not a bad choice if you're in the mood for a Taco Tuesday or some Mexican chow.
