Just ordered via DoorDash. Ordered a burger. Chili's forgot THE BURGER PATTY. How does that even happen??

I know this is what all Chili's do, but it makes me so happy when the waitress/waiter leave the shaker with my margarita. Thank you for letting me refill my glass 2-3 more times as I gulp down your wonderful margaritas. #blessed read more

Another great night at Chilis. The wait was 40-50 minutes so call ahead if possible. We got lucky and found seats right at the bar. The bartenders Paul and Matt are the best. I ordered one of the new drinks on the menu, Patron mango margarita. Its was delicious, bits of cut-up mango on top as a garnish. For food we split a table side guac and I ordered the santa fe salad. This place has great food but sometimes the wait is incredible. Waited an hour for a table one night. On a separate visit myself and a coworker had a run in with raw chicken that was swiftly taken care of by management and credits, plus replacement meals were given. It happens though people make mistakes but they were quick to address the situation. read more

Calling ahead for seating is the way to go. We only had to wait for about 5 min even though they had a 30-45 min wait for others. I really object to one of their policies. I ordered a relatively expensive entree - salmon - and wanted to substitute a house salad for rice. I was told there would be an additional $1.00 charge. My husband ordered half rack of ribs and in order to substitute a salad for French fries, he too would have to pay the additional charge. Another critical feature was the condition of the women's restroom. It was dirty and not well-maintained. My salad was brought after waiting about 10 minutes but we waited for about 20 min for our entrees. My husband requested additional sauce for his ribs but had to wait for awhile for that to be brought. Positives were that the entrees were very good. Decided to take a friend out for lunch today and he wanted to try Chili's, wish he hadn't. We were greeted at the door, seated very quickly, in a nice clean restaurant, but after that things went down hill. It seemed as thought the waitresses couldn't decided who was going to come to our table. We placed a drink order and wait...and waited. Then we placed our meal order...and waited. When we arrived the place was very empty and we were seated right smack dab in the middle of the dinning area to see at the empty tables. These tables were now starting to fill up with the lunch crowd. It got to a point that we both started to notice that everyone around us was eating. We finally flagged down our waitress and asked about our meals and were "assured" they were coming out. Strangely enough she was correct, within two minutes someone from the kitchen brought them out, with plates so hot they must have been forge in the pits of mount doom! With the combination of the plates being hot and the food being very dry I am making the assumption they had been completed some time ago and had been sitting under a heat lamp every since. The food was not terrible, but not something I would be writing home about either. We must have been looking a bit annoyed because the waitress brought us the check and as an apology for the wait her manager had comped out appetizer (which was only a few bucks), but seemed to really want us to leave. Now she did offer my friend a very large bag of chips and bowl of salsa to go (great for him). Basically I think someone dropped the ball either on the front or back of the house I'm not sure, but we got lost in the shuffle. These things happen in any profession and I won't scream from the roof tops that this place is horrible because of one bad experience caused by a mistake, but I also won't be in a hurry to come back either. After having a horrible experience on the phone while trying to make call ahead reservations with another restaurant, we decided to go to Chili's. From the phone call, friendliness of the greeter, the server and the food, it was excellent service. We had 18 people and they had us seated, fed and out the door in less than an hour and 20 minutes. Our server was attentive and friendly. Our food was hot and quickly delivered to our table. We couldn't have asked for better service for our sons birthday celebration. read more

There can be a wait. Once seated, everything moves along quickly. Drinks come cold and food comes hot. I've gotten the All you can eat Chips and salsa, Steak and asparagus and I've gotten the Fish tacos. All were very good. Flavorul and not salty. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are average. Its loud because its like a sports bar so babies might be overwhelmed but it is kid friendly. Recommend on an weekday. Good luck getting in on a weekend evening. read more

Chili's in Hanover PA continues to please us every time we eat there. The staff is fantastic. We have never had a bad meal there in over 5 years--about 3-8 times a month, random nights of the week and weekends. The regular staff in the bar side, Paul and Matt (bartenders), Becky, Julian, Lisa, and others go above and beyond to always deliver top service. The food is super delicious and worth the price. The customer service is an amazing and even though it can get packed and the wait time can be like 30 minutes. When we sat down the place was empty. We waited about 10 minutes before someone realized we hadn't been helped yet. We ordered drinks, another 10 minutes go by and still no drinks or server. Finally one nice gentleman asked if we have been helped yet. We said no, but he proceeds to apologize and takes the order instead. Throughout the waiting process we ended up having 3 servers the whole time wait on us instead of one because I guess they are disorganized. Food took awhile to come out and at that point we were already full due to eating the chips and dip (which the manager did comp, very nice.) haven't been here in a while and stopped by to give it another try but service is too disorganized to enjoy a meal. This one of my favorite places to eat. I had a delicious birthday meal here. I got a Santa Fe chicken salad and it tasted absolutely amazing. I also got a molten chocolate cake. The day after Christmas ,decided to have a short stop for lunch at Chili's. We got a table quickly. Our waitress was nice, however she had so many tables she was serving she could not get back to us timely. We waited a long while for water and appetizers. Then we had to ask many different employees where our food was, because it was an hour and 15 minutes of waiting. The order was not complicated. We had a garden salad with grilled chicken, 2 lunch size fajita orders and one Burger medium well. The burger came out and was drenched in grease ,was ice cold and was medium rare. It took 15 minutes to get a wait staff to come over to look at the Burger so we could send it back. The girls that got the fajitas asked for some lettuce,which never showed up. We asked for the manager, he came out and said they were short staffed which was very obvious. He offered to comp our meal . Just a Bad day at Chili's read more

We have celebrated two birthdays here with two large parties, call ahead seating and sat very quickly! Fun and outgoing atmosphere, really good bar drinks. I find it very funny that Applebee's touts themselves as the neighborhood bar and grill. When my friends and I want to meet up somewhere, we find that Chili's is a much more relaxed restaurant with far better food selections. Whether it is fir dinner or drinks, Chili's staff are always very friendly and seem to know who their regulars are and while one would think they would treat their regulars better than that person that stops in occasionally, they treat everyone like they are their oldest and best customer. Did I mention how good the food is?! We are a fairly regular customer at the Hanover Chili's, normally experiencing good service and food. Our family went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon around 5PM. We found that there were some people there but not crowded. We were seated right away. We then waited approx. 10 minutes for someone to come to our table to ask if we wanted some drinks. We were told that our waitress and another waitress would be waiting on our table. After about six or seven minutes we received our drinks and placed our order. While waiting for our food we had difficulty getting our waitress's attention to get additional drinks, etc. As I mentioned it wasn't because they were that busy. When we got our food, it was as ordered and was good as usual. When we were finished with our meal, several members of our party were unable to eat all that they had an therefore we requested a box so that we could take the uneaten portion of our meal home. After requesting a box twice and waiting 10 minutes for a box, we decided to give up and leave the remainder of our dinner there. We normally don't have any problem with the waitstaff at this restaurant but these two ladies definitely were not into their job last evening and we were disappointed in our service. We will return and hope not to have these two ladies as our waitresses. read more
