Unfortunately I need to add on the pile of bad reviews. This is the worst Chili's we have been to yet. The food was mediocre, drinks were not refilled unless you asked and we were served food that definitely sat under a heat lamp way too long. See the picture of the pickles I uploaded. We tried this location 3 times and each one was worse than the next. This was the straw that broke the camels back. We will just make the trip out to Rockwall. read more

Just recently started getting food from chili's again. This is a place I used to frequent as a kid and it holds lot of memories for me. There are sometimes that the food is AMAZING and sometimes it's not as good. I feel as though maybe the cooks need to have a bit more consistency in their cooking so I have a similar experience every time. They offer many great menu items and I will definitely continue to frequent this location. read more

We went here for a staff lunch. They were able to accommodate our big group and our waitress was very attentive to our needs!

Absolutely the worst Chili's! Close it down so something can move in that space that can serve good food and service!

We went on a Sunday around 1PM and the restaurant was packed. The wait wasn't too long, just about 15 minutes and they text you when your table is ready which is convenient considering the waiting area inside is small and waiting outside is more comfortable. PROS: -The server was friendly and attentive. -The food was tastey (we got an order of Dr. Pepper BBQ ribs and a sampler). -The food came out relatively fast considering how crowded it was. CONS: -The hostess never informed us that they offer self-seating in the bar area, which is where we wanted to sit to watch the football games. By the time we figured it out, a few groups had come in and sat down ahead of us. It wasn't a big deal, but frustrating nonetheless. -The silverware was filthy. Fork and knife had bits of food on them. The table also had food underneath it from the previous customers and one of the chairs at our table was covered in food and drink. The dining room looked a little cleaner than the bar area so we'll probably try sitting there next time. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. It's a little pricier than Applebee's but you get what you pay for because it's also a bit better in my opinion. We'll go back if we're in the mood for some casual dining. read more

11/18/12 Noon Do they even deserve one star? Horrible service, took 40 min to get appetizers and drinks. The food was cold when we received it. The cheese fries were burnt from the heat lamp and were cold on top of that. I'm an actual chef and understand busy, but that's pure laziness and not caring. Waiter never asked how our food was until after we paid. When we walked out the Togo door, to leave, the manager was around the corner on his phone and just chatting, never came out on the floor checking on customers. We have lived in the area over 2 years now and have previously enjoyed this location, but will no longer eat here. read more

Ordered the southern smoke house burger to go. I should have checked my order, but to my surprise when I got home this " Big Mouth Burger" was made of beans and the bacon / onion petals were omitted. The bun was even stale. The fries were undercooked and mushy. My dog barley enjoyed it as I gave it to him, and he eats trash. read more

Good friendly Service. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender right away. Good atmosphere. Average selection of beer on tap. Good food with out a long wait. Will definitely return again soon. read more

We dined at the dinner rush on a Saturday and only waited 23 minutes, this was faster than usual and a welcome perk. Food was hot and out fast, drinks were full the whole time. Only problems were my quesadilla salad was probably had some time under a heat lamp and the rice with the fajitas was just not eatable. It didn't even smell good. Don't leave without trying the loaded boneless wings. Not for the health conscious but they are great! read more

Been a customer here quite a few times, which tells you the food and service I've received must be good. More often than not recently I've been a pick-up customer and the orders have been ready when expected and correct. The folks in the pick-up area have been pleasant and made sure the orders were correct before we left. I think it did take the location a while to find it's legs but seems to be doing really well now. read more

Not sure why the manager had time to post on Facebook today when the computers went down and there were a TON of tables that went unclean for an hour because of house busy the servers and bartender were. Standing around when you see there are things that need to be done, watching people not being able to find a place to sit, is not very managerial. read more

This was the best dining experience I've had in a while. Went to eat about an hour ago with my wife. They have totally redone their menu and it is GREAT. They stepped up their game. Our server, I really wish I remembered her name, was excellent(her name started with T). She was very attentive and polite and it was a great overall experience. The manager was super nice as well, stopped by to check on us and talk about new menu items and what not. We will definitely be back, dry rub ribs and loaded boneless wings are the best. Chili's is not usually our preferred place to eat but we decided to give it go. The service was excellent and while the food is never out of this world great it was good and they had a pretty decent special going on that made easy on the pocketbook so overall a win/win! read more

Not pleased with my to go experience. I ordered a fajita platter, did not receive over half of the ingredients and was charged for a drink that I did not order. When I returned for the rest of my order, I had to wait and additional 20 minutes. Meanwhile, my hungry guests waited at home while the first half of my order got cold. Not cool, Chili's. I'm not a huge fan of Chili's to begin with. I used to work at one and went through the menu several times while there so I'm pretty burned out on it. But I have to say, some of the things they are supposed to do best are just mediocre. I had the fajitas. The tortillas were stale and the meat was tough. The service was decent and our server was pleasant. If you like Chili's then this is about as good as any of them. If you're looking to find a new experience, try something else. read more

This is probably the worst Chili's I have ever been to. The service is really what killed it. I asked for the guacamole burger because I could not remember exactly what it was called. The server told me they no longer had that burger. So I asked if they had avocados and she said "oh yes of course!" So I asked if she could just add avocados to my burger and that just blew her mind, I had to spell it out for her. Especially whenever I place an order over the phone, I am always leery as to if it will be correct at all. Food is great, but if you want service- don't go here. read more

We have been to this Chilis many times and it has been pretty good but our last visit a few days ago was pretty bad. It was a Wed evening and not too crowded. I ordered a house salad and it had a strange taste. I'm not sure if it was the dressing or the lettuce but kind of metallic taste. My husbands burger was good and our server was very nice. I don't remember her name but she did a great job taking care of us and our requests. I got the chipotle crispers and they tasted old. The broccoli was dry and old and had some bright green spots on it. The corn on the cob tasted old,too. I wonder if going there on a Wed made a difference in the "age" of the food? We will try again and hope that things get better. read more

This national restaurant chain in Forney is like a home town restaurant. The service is always good and the waiters/waitresses are friendly and have a positive relationship with each other. All of this promotes an atmosphere of comfort. The bosses also are present and greet people as though they have time to do that., The food is also wonderful and they have cooks there who can take what you request and do it to your expectations. read more

It's chilis, most are about the same. The service is good here, the majority of the time. Food is good, but what I am upset about is the take out side. I walk in and order one bowl of potato soup. How can you mess that up? I pay $4 something for a BOWL. I get home and I see what looks like a "cup" size container, and it's HALF FULL. wtf. I paid almost $5 for a few spoonfuls of soup. Same old Chili's fired. You know what you're getting. However, the service tends to be at a glacier space. I can't stand it when you have to wait to be seated when they have half an empty restaurant. Especially when you're trying to corral two toddlers. read more

By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced!!!! I ordered a medium well steak that came out extra well done. My husband ordered a burger and it came out bloody. When the waitress came to retrieve our food, she took my plate back to the kitchen then brought me back the same sides without the steak and reached in my husbands plate to grab his burger off his plate with her bare hands. Unfortunately there aren't many dining options in Forney, but I can guarantee that we will not be back to this location!!!!! read more

(We did online ordering for this review) We ordered our chili's, and the website said the food would be ready at 2:03pm. I texted "here" to the number they gave me at 2:05pm, which prompted an automated response telling me someone was on their way with my food. From the designated parking area for online orders, I could see in through the glass. I saw a bag that ended up having our food in it, sitting and waiting for an employee to take it to us. Of course, at this time, I was hoping it wasn't our food. at about 2:20pm, I decided to go in and see what was going on. there was a customer at the counter ordering food to go, then about 5 minutes of waiting went by, and a manager came around and asked if he could help. Told him I had an order for pick up, he grabbed that same bag I was hoping it wasn't, and handed it to me but kept the receipt. He started conversing with another employee and I had to interrupt him so I could have my receipt. Food was cold in the result of it. This Chili's appears to be one of the newer styles built, than is usually seen in Dallas. The waiter Rene' was very friendly and helpful. We got to split a rib & chicken meal and then we split the choc lava cake- OMG I haven't had such rich gooiness in a long time. Honestly it's been a while since we've eaten at a Chili's but this one is as good as it gets. Love the new styled menu with healthier options and no sacrifice on flavor. It's an easy drive from Dallas about 30 min out on Rt 80 and easy to find right in front of a huge Wal-Mart on the north side of 80. Easy off/easy on. Better than having to wait in line or outside for a table for 30 min like we usually do at any given Dallas location. PLUS they will do a "Give Back" night with a portion of the proceeds donated to your charity, just set it up in advance with the manager and hand out the flyer that they create for you. afsp.org read more

The waitstaff was very attentive and quick. Also the food was hot and tasty. We haven't received service this good in months.
