Great Tex-Mex. Great service. Their menu is rather extensive, and their hamburgers are made with fresh ingredients and quite good.

Xavier has been the spot to go to all the time this is the place that takes me back to my moms cooking the food is really good and prices are even better I recommend it 100% and just to let y'all know my favorite is the Chilaquiles Verdes com Carne Asada best in town!! read more

This is a cute little restaurant and bar on Moore Street. It fills up quickly thanks to the good food and friendly service. They have several flavors of margaritas in machines (I loved the peach one) and they have a full bar too. The guacamole was good and it was served on a bed of pico so you could mix it in if you wanted. Our dinners were both really good. My husband liked his chile relleno, and I enjoyed the sampler plate. They also sell tamales by the dozen! read more

First timer here I went around 4 and was surprised to see this place empty. I'm not against country music but it is a Tex mex restaurant I was expecting more of a Spanish music vibe. The food was okay nothing too crazy, the drinks is where it's at they were good and got the job done of getting you tipsy. read more

It was ok. Margaritas were not super fresh. Food was decent. Ambiance not great. Service ok.

Very slow service and staff is unfriendly and food is bland ! Avoid this place not worth the time.

NEVER AGAIN WORST EVER My spouse and I came here because our normal restaurant was super packed. We thought we would give it a try. We seen the reviews and they seemed ok. We came in and someone from the back yelled to choose a seat(a customer had to tell us because we didn't hear her). We sat down and waited about 15 minutes before a waitress came up to get our drink order. Another 5 min and she come back with drinks and chips . So about a 20 minute wait for drinks and chips. They were NOT BUSY. Then we finally got to order our food about 10 minutes later. We waited day 20 more minutes to get our food we order enchiladas. Another dissatisfaction when we got our food our drinks were empty and the waitress sets down are food then asks us if we want something to drink. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE didn't need her dirty looks when asking her a question. I would think she might have automatically assumed we would need more tea to go with our food. She asked if we needed anything else I asked for a small guacamole she immediately coped an attitude and turned to go get it brought it back and with a look on her face set it at the end of our table and walked away. The Food Was nothing to rave about l. Very Bland flavor though it was hot at least. Had it not been for my wonderful spouse trying to get me some food after a long day at work I would have walked out before we ever got to order our food. Needless to say We ate the food anyways. While we were eating we seen zero staff anywhere they were in the back I am assuming. My better half asked me if I seen a restroom. I looked around to find nothing he got up to look himself and couldn't find one. There wasn't even any staff to ask. Honestly I will NEVER GO BACK. The temperature of the restaurant was warm not cool and it is the middle of the summer, I personally don't like eating hot food in warm temperatures but again I did for my better half. I would not have even given it 1 star but I guess you have too. The best part was the food looked good on the plate wish it would have tasted better than it did. *staff 1/2 star because someone was there * wait staff ZERO - unfriendly, Inattentive, attitude-problem * place seemed ran down * restaurant temperature WARM for it being summer (they had a small fan hooked up point at the booths. * food 1 STAR because it looked pretty (if that is what matters when you are hungry Salsa was good chips are good read more

Me and my husband went to a different restaurant last night. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The chips and salsa taste homemade, which was a big plus with my husband. We tried the appetizer of chorizo queso, and it was messy but delicious. My husband got one of his favorites which is the Chile Relleno. He said it was very good. I tried the pork guiso with tomatillo. It was different than what I was expecting but the pork was still very tender and good. We will definitely give this place another try as we truly enjoyed our experience read more

The food and the service were both wonderful. Street tacos and quesadillas were perfect. We also enjoyed the salsa.

Terrible and embarrassing experience. Took my wife out to get a late lunch and decided to give this place another try. Got our drink order in as soon as we were seated and got a couple of bowls of salsa right after. Said they would be right back with our chips. About 5 minutes later chips arrive. About 5 minutes after that another couple sits in the booth behind us. They immediately had chips, drinks ordered and food ordered. We still haven't been able to order our food. Another 5 minutes or so go by and the table behind us received their food. We still not been asked our food order. Everyone who received their food after we were seated finish their meals and proceeded to leave. We still hadn't been asked our food order and couldn't even get a waitresses' attention. We finally ended up finishing our drinks and decided to pay and leave since they obviously didn't want to serve us. I asked the lady who was supposed to be our waitress as I was paying if we did something to upset them or offend them and why they didn't want to serve us. She had no explanation and when I said fine I'll just leave you an accurate review since you don't care to take care of a customer and she said "fine!". Didn't care at all. Not upset in the least that we were completely ignored. Horrible customer service. I can't review the food since we never got any. I will say their drinks are extremely overpriced though. I'll definitely never give them another chance. That was strike two. There are lots of good Mexican food restaurants in Terrell that care to have our business. I definitely recommend you try one of the other places. read more

Great family restaurant! Food was really good and authentic! Loved the ceviche! Menu is extensive, something for everyone. Our server was welcoming and the owner came to check on us. It's a little run down but it's a small town restaurant so I wasn't bothered. We will be back again and again! read more

Horrible service. We were there for 1.5 hours. We only seen that 1 table was seated. Then 2 others came in after we ordered, they got their orders, checks and left before we even got our food. We had to go request a to go box and cup for left over take out, why I did that I don't know, Food was okay but not that great. For 2 people and 1 small child. $43. They charged for a very small cup of shredded cheese, extra tortillas for the fajitas. The queso is just plain cheese out of a can. We will not be planning on going here again. read more

I live in Terrell and somehow have missed this place. I have been here once before but came back to try it again and I was extremely pleased. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is not it. I ordered a caldo de res, and this had ZERO beef. It was all fat, connective tissue, and a massive bone. Once I took all of this out there was a sad bit of liquid left. Not even enough to fill half the to go cup. Thank goodness I used doordash, as they credited back my purchase. read more

This is one of my favorite mexican food restaurants in Terrell. Good chips and hot sauce. Love the stuffed avacados and fajita beef street tacos. They even have great breakfast on the weekend. You have to try the Pasollea (spelling) soup. I think they only have it on Sat and Sun though. Also fun family karaoke on Fri and Sat nights. read more

Myself and DG in here this morning for breakfast about 10a. I had a Skillet dish with fresh jalapeños added and was great. I moved it all onto another plate as I really don't like eating off those still very hot and frying skillet plates. Flour tortillas were nice and actually seemed handmade. Potatoes, onions and peppers were perfectly done browned a bit. I would sure return. read more

Wonderful service and awesome breakfast burritos. If I lived here, it would be my go to.

The worst service @ a restaurant I ever encounter, the first time I went there it smelled like a sewer pipe had broken, We decided to give it another chance and it was just horrible they brought my husbands food with no tortillas then they had an attitude because we asked for napkins and tortillas. I placed an order for my food & they took for ever to cook them and when I tried to cancel my order they brought the food right out just so I could pay the plate the food was not even fully cooked they gave me the plate and didn't even bag it or put napkins nor utensils in the bag or salsa. I always give great review and Im always eating out but this place is the worst restaurant ive been to.The lady was just awful rude and wouldn't even give me the courtesy to speak. The food over all wasn't bad the flavor wasn't great but there isn't really many options here in this town but I will never step foot in this restaurant again the restroom was so hot no air and no napkins the tables where not clean overall It is so bad im so angry that the lady was so rude & didn't even let me speak to tell her how to improve her restaurant she didn't even care customers where around she was being loud and rude just because she was the owner she should be setting an example for her workers smh worst experience ever, I just wanted to pay and get out but she kept arguing and telling me how she was a waiter for over 20 yrs makes no since! read more

We have been here several times and the food is the best mex that I have had since I moved here 8 years ago. The breakfast plates are great! The tacos are great! The vegetables are fresh and the cheese is fresh ! The fajitas are the best in town !! The chips and salsa are very good but if you like real spicy and down right just blow your mouth up hot !!! Ask for the hobanero salsa it will take you to a whole next level of heat ! And I'm pretty sure the owner is the chef If he's not to busy he will come out and talk to you. He's a real nice guy ! The next time you want mex food give this place a try! You won't be disappointed. read more
