I really wanted to like this place but me and my guest left disappointed. The server was not friendly at all. Then they serve us creamer that has mold and expired and said "oh sorry" but they seem to know about the creamer before hands That situation was so dangerous. The food did not have flavor, we ordered the huevos con papas and the place was missing the papas and they never brought them out/cooked them so to be quicker we opted for tortillas and they charged extra for their mistake. We also ordered the Relleno convo and it had no flavor. I would not recommend this place. read more

We had a great experience. Our server Courtney was great. The food was good. I had carne asada and it was seasoned well. My husband had the chicken quesadilla. The strawberry margarita was small but tasty. The decor was simple. The building itself seemed old and possibly in need of some TLC but the tin ceiling added to its charm. I should have followed my 1st mind when my " Chimichanga" with chili sauce was sat down in front of me. To call it chili or anything close to the word is just flat out DISRESPECT! Let's try beans and a slury of flour on top of a bland, overcooked bland, bland and did I say bland Chimichanga. I should have immediately sent it back. Unfortunately I gave it a try and need I say I had the WORST heartburn and stomach ache of my life that night. We always see cars in the parking lot so decided to give Jalapenos a try, The decor is worn and needs updating. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food was...bland and not exciting. I have to believe that a good deal of the food is purchased ready to heat and not made fresh on site. Now was the food bad, no just acceptable. They offer good specials, a clean environment and good pricing. Jalapenos just needs to step it up a notch, find something to be a signature dish and then I'll bump my rating up to 3 stars. read more

Restaurant is old and dated . The tiles on the floor were cracked and broken and some missing. The food was very bland. We had chicken tacos, fried mushrooms and chicken flautas. Oh and chips and salsa. The Chicken tacos and flautas I think we're made from same meat. Neither had any flavor whatsoever. Only thing that really had any flavor was the salsa.
