This is legit the worst chili's we have ever been to. We used to go a lot but it has just gone way down hill. We don't go as much as we used to because there seems to always be an issue. The portions aren't the same as all the other chili's and we go to others often. The service is typically lacking and rude and hard to get refills. The management typically doesn't care or apologize for mistakes or issues so we just try to avoid this specific location. We went on Tuesday for my husband's birthday because it was a week day and a work day we were trying to meet for a meal we didn't have to cook that would be continent for everyone so we landed on chili's. We let our server know when we were seated it was his birthday the restaurant was virtually empty we didn't think the visit was going to be an issue we were wrong. Refills were hard to come by our toddler was throwing fits because our food took well over an hour to come out and once we decided to take her soda away and it was hard to get a server over to ask for a water then once we asked for one it took forever to get the water like forever. We had to ask for napkins no joke 7 times. And at the end of the meal they never offered dessert or sang or anything we sang ourselves and paid the bill on the little kiosk and left it was ridiculous and kind of sad I felt so bad for my husband he works so hard and we tried to celebrate him and it didn't feel like much of a celebration it felt like we inconvenienced the restaurant for even being there. It will be a while before we are back if even at all. I do not recommend this location it is not a good one nor is it a clean one. Our bill was quite high too so it wasn't like we were ordering cheap so this is just completely disappointing and I honestly debated even wasting my time posting this review since they clearly don't care about their customers but maybe some future customers might care about where they eat. read more

I was in town for work and I was looking for a fresh meal that wasn't fried. Not a lot of options so I ended up here. I think it's been 10 yrs since eating at a Chilis. I was blown away with the quality, taste, service and cleanliness of this restaurant. When ordering I asked the waitress her favorite meal and she mentioned the salmon. I love salmon so I ordered it with broccoli and asparagus. It was so good! Honestly I'm looking for a copycat recipe after I get done writing this review. The next day I decided to come back. I had salmon, broccoli and Cesar salad, oh and a cosmopolitan. The bartender waited on me was open to feed back. Great experience with great food and drink! read more

I'm not sure why this place has so many bad reviews but I had the best Chili's experience I've ever had and that's coming from an avid cajun chicken pasta and OG 3 for $10 enthusiast. My boyfriend and I ate here on our way back home to Houston from visiting Dallas. The service (including food) was incredibly fast & everyone was pleasant. Absolute worst chilis I've ever been to. They were out of everything! From the Dos Equis my husband ordered to the margarita they marketed to apple juice to queso we ordered. The manager came around to ask if my husband wanted another Tito's and sprite because the first one we he had tasted awful due to the sprite being out but not once did she apologize for everything being unavailable. When she asked my husband if he wanted a replacement, I told her they were out of at least 6 things we asked for. Her response was a simple "yah". Food was awful! Mashed potatoes were so bad my kids wouldn't even eat them. Chilis has gone downhill big time but I absolutely will not go back after this visit. read more

Chicken was the worst texture, not cooked fully, tried giving me a medium rare steak (still pink) cheese fries were extremely dry, the cheese literally was already dried when they brought it out making the fries hard as a rock. One of the party members got a chicken sandwich the cheese again was rock hard, this time on the sandwich making it completely unappetizing including the bacon was charcoal, picked up the sandwich and literally all the bacon crumbled off to the plate. Ennis chilis has just been getting it RIGHT! Food is always delicious and the staff is always respectful. Now, no place is perfect. For example, we had some crusty tortillas come with our fajitas, but our server (who agreed the tortillas were crusty) was happy to bring us some fresh tortillas and all was well in the world. All you gotta do is ask folks. Anyways, the place is clean, the staff seems well selected and trained, and we always feel satisfied when we leave. read more

I was a bit skeptical going to this location while on the road coming from Dallas. The reviews just didn't speak volume but we needed a place to eat while heading back to Houston. We walked in with a group of six & the immediately sat us at a table. Everything moved quickly including the delivery of our food. The utensils didn't seem so clean so we asked for to-go utensils and they were happy to complete that request. The food was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. One person at our table wanted hotter food the waiter came and took it with a smile. Then minutes later the manager came to check on the situation and offered a 20% discount. He declined and the manager let him know because he was coming extremely polite in his request she was willing to still do it. In the end it was a nice dinner and we were able to get back in the road pretty quickly. read more

Too many people have exceedingly high expectations for anything and anyone in the service industry, especially the food service industry; many of those same people are quick to post negative reviews online that hurt businesses rather than contacting the manager about their discrepancies, who can and will swiftly resolve any situation. That being said, there is a lot of validity to people stating about the slow service, but for the most part, the service at this Chili's has almost always been slow and I've been coming here since it opened. Could be more of a staffing issue and kitchen issue. The manager has always been super nice and so has the staff. Drinks are always strong and the service is always friendly. Food is always great but fair warning, if you love fajitas and are expecting a top-class quality fajita with expensive meat, especially out of a chilis, then you're in for a bad time lol. That's like going to Taco Bell and expecting to get a steakhouse-quality cut in your burrito. It's not happening. Again, high expectations often leads to disappointment. Sadly, I keep coming back every year or so, hopeful that this place will get better, but...NOT. Just picked up my online order to discover that none of the customizations for my order were recognized or honored. I ordered a salad and asked that everything be put "on the side" so it would not be soggy and nasty after my 30 minute trip home. The salad was a soggy, nasty, wet mess and was, to me, inedible. There was no salvaging the salad once I arrived home, and it was way to far to drive back for another/replacement salad. It's just another Chili's with it being nearly identical to hundreds of other Chili's across the country. Food is always constantly good, but not memorable. Great stop for budget minded people with families. This particular location could do a little better training their waitstaff. Our waiter disappeared for long periods of time and seemed rather lost when he was with us. For example, we had our entrees for around three minutes and he was already asking us if we wanted desert. Later on after we had finished our meal we stacked our plates on the edge of our table and waited nearly fifteen minutes for him to clean off the table. I will be the first to acknowledge that this waiter appeared to be young and relatively new so it might have been an isolated occurrence, but I've come to expect a little more from the Chili's brand. read more

Kim Paris (Pauis) snatched the receipt to write her name, gave me a wrong Corporate number (Roy 817-357-0464) as the corporate number for complaints(that had no greeting and went straight to who knows who's voicemail). I looked up the real number online. My order was supposed to be curb side pick up, paid with a 20% tip. I texted 'here' when I arrived and waited..20 minutes. Someone came to my window and asked me if someone helped me. I told him I was waiting for my food. Another 10 minutes so I go in. My food is not under heat but sitting on table, by itself, marked paid. Kim (whatever her name is) proceeded to give the cold food. I asked why it wasn't brought out and she tried to hand it to me again. I asked for a refund, Corporate number and name. She proceeded to advise could not process my refund now because she was too busy! She did have time to print out a receipt though(she wasn't going to provide one, originally). My husband ordered the cookie skillet, youngest daughter a scoop of ice cream, and my oldest a mini molten lava. Husband got his and 15 minutes later still no dessert for the kids and no salad still. I understand being busy, but if you wait staff is struggling this bad to serve, hire more folks. After speaking with the manager, who was incredibly helpful, he took care of us. read more
