Stopped by for dinner and glad we did. The complimentary garlic bread was great but even better with the mussels and the white wine sauce. We wanted to try something different and ordered the Mediterranean Pasta. It's fettuccine in roasted pepper cream sauce with asparagus and broccoli. The first bite was interesting as this flavor was new to me, however it was better with each bite as the sauce clung onto the pasta more. Next, we had the old trustee Lady Margherita. I love wood-fired pizza but I love it even more if it's crispy. This, however, didn't pass the flop test. Sad. But...the flavor was there. Overall, not disappointed in our choices. My server was amazing at bringing water & checking on us, but after 45 minutes of waiting for our pizza, the manager on duty came over. We shared our concern. She went to check on our pizza, came back, and stated it still wasn't ready. We paid for our side salad and left. What a horrible experience to have driven miles to try for the 1st time. The lack of customer service was very lackluster. I didn't get a chance to try the food, so this review is based on the lack of customer service with the Manager on Duty. read more

We celebrated my sister's birthday! The restaurant is decorated like farmhouse. Two large dining areas and other private areas. Our server was nice. She handled our large group with much patience. Service was great. Was there with several coworkers. Boneless spare ribs were great. All coworkers enjoyed their dishes.

Overall the atmosphere was unique and cozy. The Stromboli was delicious, the calamari was ok.. texture food but batter could have used more seasoning. Our waiter did an excellent job but we were seated in an area completely by ourselves. We will return again because I would like to try some of the other entrees provided. read more

Appetizer of pepperoni rolls was outstanding, waitress Ruby had out before meal, as promised. Plenty of cheese and pepperoni, made to order. Entree was pork chop vesuvio, tea to drink. Ruby kept the beverages flowing. Vesuvio was delicious! Large portion, plenty of peppers, onions and sausage. Pork cooked well w/slight chargrilled flavor, pomodoro sauce a tad spicy. I've dined in twice and picked up to-go which I did for the second time today. The first to-go experience was disappointing but I decided it was probably just a one time thing.....till today. I ordered an entree and a pizza to-go and when I got to my car to leave, I realized they didn't include the bread you get when you dine in. I went back in and asked for it, the hostess went to the kitchen and returned with two small, cold, hard pieces. I didn't say anything, I just gave up. Wanted some bread to go but noticed it wasn't on the menu to order so I called and asked if I had to order something and she said yes and then ask for bread along with it. I did an online order and then called again to ask them to put bread in there and she laughed and said yes ma'am. I go to pick up the order and my boyfriend goes inside and comes back with a few pieces of bread. I call again asking to get just a little bit more and they gave us more bread. I think we all got a good kick out of it and it filled my craving. 10/10 service and satisfaction read more

It has been 6 years since my last review which was not a good one. Since that time, the food has been consistent and very good to taste. Service has been very good. I ate here most recently in Jan 2026 and it was not a good experience and the reason I have not been back since. I ordered chicken piccata. The chickens must have shrunk or something. It was one the smallest chicken breasts pieces I have ever received at TS. It was a new experience for me at the restaurant after having built up a good track record of consistency. And to compound the issue, the chicken breast and pasta was swimming in water/broth as if in a swimming pool. While the flavor was acceptable, one should not have to spoon out pieces of chicken from a broth in a pasta dish. Needless to say, it was very disappointing. Due to time constraints, I did not ask the waitress to have the dish made again. Having a dish of this quality was bad enough, but the price increase over the past year or so seems a bit unreasonable for the smaller size of the meat served and to some extent the amount of pasta served. No complaints about service as the wait staff has always been very good. read more

Tough day at Tuscan Slice today..... Party of four taken to our booth. Booth had not been cleaned.... Were sent back to the front..... Took too long to get our drinks ordered. (2 teas, 2 Waters)....... Ordered 3 of the small pizzas..... During the time we were waiting, server never came back to check on us..... 2 pizzas came out.... After a few min, I stopped another person and said we were waiting on a 3rd pizza..... After another long wait, the server showed up and said she thought we had ordered the appetizer, which was weird because we had already had the other two pizzas at the table..... by the time the 3rd pizza was ready, we just boxed it up and went home....... I haven't been here in so long. My family and I decided to stop by and try it again. I had two free "kids build their pizza for free" coupon, which I thought was cool. Walking in we were greeted by almost every staff member which makes you feel welcoming. The vibe is rustic almost and they have their own pizza station. We ordered the fried calamari which was pretty good considering it was devoured before I could take a picture. My kids made their own pizza on the table. They enjoyed that experience. We had the lunch special (2 topping pizza and the lasagna with a house salad). The lasagna was ok, wasn't my favorite. The pizza was really good though. The kids pizza too was really good. The only issue we kinda had was our waitress didn't feel that inviting compare to the other staff members. She lacked attentiveness and didn't look like she wanted to be there. First off, the service is amazing. The servers and bar tenders were just the sweetest people. The ambiance was neat. Instead of walls or pillars, they used curtains and cloth and up-cycled doors to divide the restaurant up into different sections. The food...oh...my...goodness. I ordered the garden pizza, 10 inch. So good! My husband ordered the Chipotle Chicken 10 inch. He greatly enjoyed it as well. The crust was hand tossed and brick-oven-fired (which they do in the bar). The complimentary bread is actually cut up scrap strips of pizza crust tossed with oil and garlic. So amazing! Our friends ordered the fried calamari. It was good, and I enjoyed the pickled banana pepper rings. They had pasta dishes (I do not remember what they were called), but they enjoyed those as well. I ordered angel hair with marinara and Italian sausage. I wanted something simple and tasty. I didn't get that. The presentation was a large glob of tomato sauce on top of overcooked pasta and a burnt Italian sausage link cut in half. Pretty sure my pasta was not tossed in sauce as the middle of the noodle patch had no sauce. The sauce had no flavor other than acidic tomato sauce out of a can. Italian sausage was bland. Late night after the races in Ennis. Very visible signage and good lighting in the parking lot. Seated right away by a pleasant hostess. Large menu that was easy to read. I chose the Fettuccini Alfredo with wood fire grilled chicken. Easily some of the best Alfredo I've ever had. Past cooked perfectly, sauce thick and creamy and you could taste the fire on the chicken yet not so strong as to overwhelm. My Wife had the salad with pecans and loved it. Large, fresh and perfectly dressed with a mustard based vinaigrette. Our friends both ordered pizza; one a hand tossed crust with pepperoni and olives, she said it was excellent. Her husband has a gluten allergy and the excellent server tool great care to ensure he knew what was in it so he was able to make a good decision. He also Loved it.
