I had a terrible experience a few days ago and swore I wouldn't come back but my boyfriends food was good so we gave it another run. We ordered the calamari which we got this time. It was excellent. We ordered the shrimp with the brandy pink sauce which was what brought us back. The brandy pink sauce is really good and the shrimp are huge. The Cesar salad dressing is apparently made in house. Oksana made sure to go out of her way to make sure things went well this time. We went at an off time which I think made all the difference. We were the only ones there besides a lady at the bar. They could work on the ambiance a bit. I would the staff is professional. I don't know if that's because we had a bad experience the other day and thought we would complain again. Except for that and the chipped saucer things went well. I'm glad to know when to go. Definitely not when they're busy. But the shrimp are huge! We couldn't finish our food but gladly took it home. We've ordered on Uber Eats many times and have really liked the food. We just recently dined in and had an outstanding experience. Our server was incredibly helpful, kind and cheerful. The garlic bread was good but the top part was crispy. The inside is buttery and soft. All our dishes were served hot and a decent, filling size. I ordered the lasagna and would rate it 4.5/5. It needed a little kick or more flavor and it would have been perfect. Customer service was great. Our waiter answered our questions and checked in on us and made sure we were good. Read the prior reviews and thought I'd give this Italian restaurant a try. The ambience was pleasant and reminiscent of " back in the day ". Dark wood, dimly lit with the some of the greats crooning in the background. You've gotta love Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc. Service was awesome. We were immediately seated, given menus, ice water and order taken. The server was very courteous and not too intrusive. All the staff seem friendly and eager to serve. My only complaint was the food. We had ordered a veal dish and a shrimp dish. Both proteins were overcooked and tough to cut. The vegetables were mushy and lacked seasoning. I could not decipher if they were fresh or frozen. The pasta was cooked and sauced perfectly though! Perhaps we should have just created our own pasta dishes. For dessert, we split a cannoli. Split really doesn't describe how we divided the cannoli. Hacked, stabbed with our spoons is more accurate. With that said, the filling was sweet, creamy and delicious! Just give me a bowl of that. It is very off-putting when you walk in the door and all you smell is fabuloso cleaning spray. Strong smelling cleaners have no place in a restaurant. We ordered the lasagna and chicken parm with a side salad. The chicken was very salty but the marinara was good. The lasagna was absolutely awful. The meat tasted like it had turned and was used anyway. It was just not good at all. I have had better lasagna from the freezer section. We decided to try Bellucci's Italian restaurant for the first time on a Friday night. It is a small place on the end of a strip mall. It is a small place and very inviting. We ordered the Lasagna and the Veal Marsala each with a small house salad. They brought delicious garlic bread to the table. The salad was very fresh and had a light dressing. The lasagna was delicious, very cheesy and rich. The veal Marsala was also very good. The veal Marsala sauce was very flavorful. Many individuals on Yelp mentioned the limoncello cake. They were right on the mark! It was light and lemony. The icing was delicious! The cake was awesome! Our server was great!! The food... NOT! We went on July 5th for our grown son's birthday. My ravioli was uncooked, so hard around the edges I had to cut it with a knife to taste it. I cut into several to test them, and gave 2 of my dinner companions one each to test; all said they were hard and chewy. I sent it back with the server, but did not want to order anything else. The server offered to remove it from our bill, but the manager said he would only deduct 30% because some had been eaten. None were eaten, but several were tested to see if there were any that were salvageable; they were not. My husband's Rollatini sauce was a watery mess, not really a sauce, but we didn't bother to complain. Our son's pizza was very good, and our great granddaughter's fettuccini was good. The server seemed very embarrassed by the manager's attitude. We have been here before, but much prefer their sister restaurant, La Gondola, in Mansfield. We will never go to Bellucci's again!! My husband and I are 75 yrs. old; we are not in the habit of trying to cheat restaurants, and we always tip very generously. We felt completely insulted by the manager's attitude! I had not even asked for a deduction for my uncooked meal. We tipped the server very generously because none of it was his fault. read more
