A great change from your typical lunch spot! Delicious made from scratch chicken salads, lots to choose from, along with pimento cheeses and soups. Cranberry Kelli - 4/10 Before I go on my little rant, I want to say that this is probably the healthiest chicken salad I have had. I was very excited to find this place as I have been craving chicken salad with cranberries. Buc-ee's is my favorite place to get the chicken salad. This sandwich lacked flavor, the crunch from the almost made me wonder if the extra ingredients were mixed in after I ordered. I had to search for the cranberry raisins to see if they were even there. The variety of options will have me coming back but the lack of flavor might prevent more than one more trip. I took my mother-in-law here for lunch on eclipse day and the door was yummy! She had never eaten here before so she was in for a treat. The service was excellent, very nice and polite. The variety of different flavors of chicken salad is a bonus. They will let you sample the chicken salad before you make your choice to purchase. I recommend the large size. The restaurant is clean and pleasant dinning room area. Didn't visit the restroom. Service was good. I love chicken salad chick, and this location is wonderful. I'm come here whenever I'm in Midlothian and it never disappoints. The Dixie chick is my absolute favorite chicken salad. If you love onions, definitely try it next time! I usually get a scoop of that and make my side another scoop I love it so much! The pimento cheese, scoop or sandwich, is also a wonderful choice! So happy to find this restaurant on yelp! It's kind of hidden in the shopping center. I got the Dixie Chick, because I like onions, and it was delicious! Side of broccoli salad was also tasty. We were so glad to find this place!! We had been in the sun all day filming wearing Biblical robes as extras with The Chosen TV streaming series. We were SO hot - and needed some delicious, cool food! (Funny - one of the employees saw us out front and said, "I thought Jesus was coming here for dinner!" :) ) My husband had half a pimento cheese sandwich and the grape salad. Both were delicious! I don't think they could possibly have stuffed more pimento cheese onto that 1//2 sandwich! The grape salad was sweet and creamy - more like a dessert - but it was so refreshing! I got the Jazzie Julie chicken salad scoop and the broccoli salad. They said it was spicy - I thought it was just very nicely seasoned! Broccoli salad was delicious. Both of us drank SO many refills of their delicious iced tea! It was such a nice, cool dinner after a blazing hot day. Everything was great, including the very pleasant women behind the counter! We purchased two croissant sandwiches last night at the Midlothian TX location because we've had them before and they were good. This time was terrible. The croissant wasn't like a regular one. It looked more like a dough type roll in that shape and was so stale and hard that we couldn't eat them. They were also out of about 3 selections so we couldn't order the one we wanted. I called them afterwards and told them and the manager said sometimes they "get stale ones in a batch and try not to service those". I won't go back again. read more

I called and asked for sassy Scotty on my sandwich and didn't get sassy Scotty. I asked for Lauren's lemon basil on the side as a scoop and they did that right but put lemon basil instead of the best thing ever sassy Scotty. It's just a simple mistake. These are little kids who are barely trained. Always new kids when I come in. Says a lot about the business!!! read more

The broccoli salad you wouldn't think to order but my mouth is drooling just thinking about it; it's that good! Even the cookie or rice crispy bar is delicious. We had lunch here yesterday for the first time. I had seen this restaurant before, but didn't give it much thought. My wife, daughter and I ordered soup and sandwiches, and boy were we surprised! Chicken salad MANY ways, and two soups of the day. Your choice of bread, toasted if you like with condiment options. We had both soups, broccoli cheese and baked potato, and found them to be delicious, well prepared, and no shortcuts. Rich and creamy, well-seasoned. The cookie that accompanied lunch was great, obviously not a cheap knockoff. We will definitely go back to this restaurant, anxious to try the other menu items. read more

Went to dinner here tonight for first time. Had eaten at the ones in Florida several times while traveling so very excited to see this one in Midlothian. We live in McKinney but we're in Midlothian. first I would recommend putting someone with a smile and pleasant personality at your register to ensure the first impression is on point. Tyler was name on the ticket and she was not at all pleasant and spoke without eye contact. We are over 70 so I will say we may take a bit longer but her shortness was not necessary. They were out of the three choices I wanted but she waited until I ordered to say they were out...could not this have been addressed easily on our arrival so I wouldn't even have studied the board. My husband asked for water and as he walked to table saw the water cup on counter so he reached for it. She then informed me she had not charged. Wait....you charge for a water??? Never have seen that anywhere.. so paid the $1.00 since he had already gotten his. My sandwich contained almost twice the chicken salad in my husbands croissant. now the positives were the loaded baked potato was wonderful and the food was quite good...although I was not the biggest fan of the basil lemon chicken salad. Possibly going earlier in The day would provide more choices in stock all in all, would probably not return to this particular Chicken Salad Chick. Hoping the one in McKinney is more reminiscent of my experiences in Florida. read more

This…read moreparticular location (Midlothian), which I visit regularly, always has above-average service w/an above-average (clean) store. And the food is USUALLY fresh. However, this time the chicken was discolored (black/purple) near the bone, extremely dry, and w/out the usual KFC flavor. Clearly, it was very old. That theory has been confirmed over the past few hours by the war that is now raging within my digestive system, a war which will surely conclude at the ceramic seat of judgment. Simply put, food like this should not be allowed to leave the store. The pieces were so old they were split open. Shame on whoever put this order together, and shame on me for eating it.

Stopped in to grab some food for me and my dad while my mom was in the hospital and the dude who made our sandwiches has such a good and uplifting attitude which is really hard to come by and find in customer service post Covid. I didn't get his name but he has long Curly hair and glasses but was so friendly, and I really am leaving this review because his interaction was just very uplifting and positive for me in a rough time. Give that man a raise or something bc he's doing great things! Thank you! Again my sandwhich really was bussin tho he did a great job 10/10
