This is one of my favorite venues that we play at. The owners Camille and Kelly are so awesome…read more Their barbecue is some of the best I've had. This place would be so perfect for a family reunion or a high school reunion or a wedding really fancy pants event. The sound is great if you're a musician looking for a great stage to play on, you've found it.

Wow! This newly-renovated & reopened event venue is just amazing! When I first moved to Athens, I…read moreknow I saw the closed-down version of the place at a distance. It always intrigued me. But I was thrilled to know that they reopened it for multi-purpose events. I first came during the soft opening during the Fiddlers' Reunion weekend & saw a live concert happening. I also came for the "Art On The Bricks" event. It's neat that they can move the stage, since for the soft opening the stage was on the right brick wall (with the audience portable fold-out chairs situated so that the left & right were further apart than the front & back), & for "Art On The Bricks" the stage was on the back wall (with the windows & view of the town square parking lot behind it). For the art show, there was more space to look at tables of displayed artwork, munch on finger foods (catered by Railway Cafe, next door), sip on drinks (wine, water, or tea), & you could mingle around or sit down (upstairs in the balcony or at some standing-friendly downstairs tables). The restrooms are also nice, & very well-maintained, with plenty of multiple stalls. The upstairs balcony is really neat. It's a great place to sit & eat at small tables (or move them together for bigger groups), or you can sit at a bar-like table overlooking the balcony if you have a smaller group. Overlooking the balcony was an incredible view! I'm staying posted on future events held here, because I definitely want to keep coming back!

I feel that they will eventually get busy.. and when they do, they have the space for it. It definitely has potential. We ordered two drinks for 24.38 Mimosa Margarita Both drinks were regular, and taste how they are supposed to. I would say it would be nice for the bartenders to be acknowledge you when you're sitting at the bar. I do understand that they are busy making drinks but a simple "hey I'll be with you in a moment" or "she will be with you soon" if it's not your side... could go a longgg way. But hey I'm an old school server.. Around 11:30 more people came in, and honestly it was even harder to get ahold to our bartender.. she just kept walking right by us lol... which is crazy because our cups were empty, so that should prompt you to check on your people! after trying to get her attention while she's walking back and forth we finally get her to ask for food which the kitchen was closed. Overall I'd come back, cause this is a really chill vibe.. but if I get the same service I'll have to just let this place go.

Then once we order our food they messed up our order we ordered 2 cheese fries they brought me out one order of cheese fries with only jalapeños and sour cream NO CHEESE and then tried to sell me a tower that had been sitting out watered down for $130 when the other bartender told me it was only $115 for a new fresh one not to mention gave me the tab with out auto gratuity and then added it and ran my card with out letting me know first. They treat you shitty and then try to rob you what kind of bar is this?????? If it weren't for the manger with dreadlocks we would've have been robbed high and dry!
