My family and I decided to eat at the Ennis location. The service was incredibly slow. I ordered the Cajun shrimp and a Caesar salad. Our food was delivered and no salad. Asked four separate times with the last being "please make it to go". Still did not receive it. My husband and kids ordered dessert. My husband ordered the cookie skillet, youngest daughter a scoop of ice cream, and my oldest a mini molten lava. Husband got his and 15 minutes later still no dessert for the kids and no salad still. Can't really critique too much on the food here, since everyone has at least been to a Chili's. You already know what to expect as far as taste goes. I was just passing by here on a road trip and I have sensed the neighborhood feel because it's in a small town - exactly what Kristie A. is saying in her review. I know that almost everyone knew each other...except for me and my party lol. I like how you can order a very affordable meal, and create 2-3 meals out of it because portions are ginormous! It's Chili's. That should be enough to qualify as a review. Last Wednesday night I met my parents here as a half-way point between Waco & Plano (I-35 was under construction and was one-lane most of Hill County). We stopped here and I had dinner. The rest of the party (mom, dad & aunt) had already eaten... at the Chili's in Corsicana. I guess to most, 3-star would be your average rating for a Chili's. To me, even on a perfect day... 2-stars is the best they can do. And on this venture, I feel I am being very generous by leaving it at the two stars. Why? The absolute worst broccoli I have ever had in my life! I ordered the Classic Sirloin "Guiltless Grill style - with carne asada rub and pico de gallo, steamed veggies, no butter" and the broccoli came out smothered in cheese. I sent it back and I had finished half my steak before they returned. When they did return, I wondered why I had bothered. Two bites was all I could force myself to eat. Well disappointed how they arrange table sitting. There was plenty of tables for my party to sit. My party size was 5. Chili's of Ennis had no problem sitting people party of 2 and 3 and another party of 5. I suggest you don't go to Chili's to eat when there is football games. Pretty much like always for this chain. Good food but nothing to write home about. For the price the 2 for $20 is a pretty good deal. I got the chicken fajitas and was really pleased to find that they actually give a good amount of bell peppers with them. It seems places are cutting way back on that. They did make a couple mistakes on my order but it wasn't a huge deal. Ordered corn tortillas and got flour. Could have got them changed but didn't worry about it. Also ordered the beans and rice which are $1 extra. That is kinda standard for fajitas so paying an extra buck gets the nerves a bit. Anyway they forgot those. I've been twice in two years. Sat at the bar with 4 friends. Ordered drinks and food. Older bartender lady with glasses said the computer messed up and never put our order in. We were waiting for over 30 minutes. It wasn't busy, don't understand how she can't notice a group of 5 people sitting in her section waiting on food. We all paid our beer tab and left without food. Revisited about a year later, sat at the bar with a buddy. It took about ten minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us. There was a total of 8 people at the bar including myself and my buddy. Finally ordered a beer each and food. First beer went quick. Drinks are empty and the bartender looks at us multiple times and never asks if we want another. Have to wave in her face for her to acknowledge us. Ordered a second beer. Still WSU's food. A total of 40 minutes goes by, manager comes out and asks how we're doing. I tell him we've been waiting on our food for 40 minutes. He goes to talk to the bartender, she comes and tells us, the computer messed up and our order was never put in. I realized then, this is the same bartender who gave me the same excuse a year ago. Again, sitting at the bar for an excessive long time with no food, and she doesn't acknowledge that. Manager comped our two beers and we left. Know idea what the food tastes like. Never got any. Don't see how that bartender still works there either. read more

This location, like almost all Chili's is run down. The service is ridiculously slow, and the crowd seems mostly local even though it is in the middle of nowhere. Where do these people live? Curbside pick up??? I placed an order for curbside pickup, received the confirmation text. Received another text reminding me to text "Here". I get there and text "Here". I'm waiting a few minutes... continue to wait, because people get busy, I understand. I'm still waiting. So I park my car, walk inside and it doesn't look very busy at all. One family's food came out one at a time, about 5-10 min apart. 20 min after their last plate came out, they brought the rest out together. My daughters 'medium rare' steak came out blue, sent it back, they refired the same cut in half sirloin. It came back out about 10 min later, still way under cooked. Stopped in enroute from Dallas to Houston today Sunday Feb 26, 2017. While they were very busy there were 2 6 tops open that we could see. No one else behind us waiting. The greeter approached us and ask if we wanted open seating at the bar. I stated "at the bar?" Her reply was well we don't have any tables for you. We promptly left and will never stop here again. This chili's that is located in Innis Texas is in my hometown. We don't have many choices for variety of food but we go to Chili's quite often because of the variety. The service here is usually pretty slow but today around 4 o'clock it was really fast and our waitress was really good we had the ribeye steaks medium rare with mashed potatoes and broccoli and all were delicious. I had a jalapeño margarita and it was very good. We got chips and salsa which we almost always do because I love having the chips are in my son loves the salsa because it's not too hot for him. read more

The restaurant was not clean. We arrived within 30 mins of them opening, no time for everyday stuff to be an issue yet. The bar next to us dividing the booths was covered in dust, some booth seats still had food on them and the bathroom was gross. Great from the beginning...greeted by the hostess holding the door and not just for me... A 29 year old very capable of getting the door but also for the rest of my party of 4 who slowly came in 1 by 1. We were then promptly seated and our waiter came over immediately and took great care of us!!! Didn't write a thing down and every thing we ordered all with specific directions (no this add that change this) came out piping hot and everyone was satisfied!!! Everyone was full 3/4 through their meal but the food was so good we wanted to finish. I personally tried something I've never had and I LOVED it!!! We had made reservations at a different restaurant in Corsicana. Only got to this restaurant they didn't have a reservation and told us it was an hour wait when they were empty tables and booths. Anyway we decided to go to Chili's where at the spur of the moment they sat all 16 of us and serviced us with a smile. The food was excellent and the service was excellent thank you Chili's in Corsicana. The other restaurant missed out on a $500 ticket with a $75 tip. We will be going back here. read more

I'm not usually fond of Chili's. I live in Dallas and have been to many locations and I have quit going. This is the only one I will go to. I always get the Cajun chicken pasta. It's my favorite. And usually chips and salsa. I tried their queso for the first time and it was awesome! Now I know why everyone gets it. I have tried a few other things there like the bacon ranch chicken quesadillas. The service was good and manager was walking around checking on tables as well. read more

But, the icing on the cake....two 57 year old people had to show the staff how the AMEX point system works on their Ziosk system. Corporate needs to train their people better. I had another "less than acceptable" experience at Chili's in Ennis, TX today. My friend and I both ordered a burger and fries. Our burgers arrived without fries with the explanation that the available fries did not look good so they had to make more. I was disappointed because I like my food hot so I had to choose to eat the hot burger and wait for the fries. Because I like burgers WITH fries, I waited. When the bills arrived, we both paid with cash. I slid a $20 bill under my $16 receipt and walked out to leave. In the parking lot, a manager ran out saying that we had not paid. Embarrassing and all because the waitress did not pick up the receipt to find her payment. read more
