The menudo was very good and ample. Best lengua tacos I ever had. The customer service was good and friendly. Did not look like they had a restroom . Place had 2 booths and 5 tables. Small place. At least the AC was working ! Check your receipts before you leave. I had a bottled water and saw that I got charged $3.99 for a horchata/ Jamaica ! They also charge you a fee for using a charge/debit card. read more

Our team ordered some tacos this morning and hey we're the worst tacos we have ever ate. Mine had beef and egg because they said they did t have brisket. The meat was so salty we could barely eat it and the meat was over cooked. They were some of the smallest "burritos" I have ever seen. It's been almost 2 hours since we got them and everyone that ate them said their stomachs are hurting. read more

Ordered 8 barbocoa tacos ... got home and 5 out of tacos were fatty meat..called up there to hopefully fix my order and kept getting hung up on...stupid motherfockers up there....check your food before leaving..will never be back..f#^! Taco gomez..burn bi#& burn read more

We were passing through Ennis so we though we'd stop. I ordered chicken tacos with cheese and it was ok. My husband had beef enchiladas with beans and rice and he thought it was ok. You order at the drive up window and it had cars in line so we figured it was good since it was our first time. I've had better tacos but these were ok. I asked the young lady in the window had long had they been there but she didn't speak English. I'm pretty sure we won't be back. read more

Ordered chicken tacos, French fries, and a burrito. Everything was pretty terrible. All the meat was dry (At first I thought they used ground chicken in my tacos because it was so dry) but really it was just dry meat. Was really excited to try this place, but after today I am good read more

A solid breakfast spot! Every time I pass Taco Gomez i tell myself I'm going to try this place. Finally I woke up one morning craving a breakfast burrito. My husband drove over there and grabbed me a sausage & egg burrito. Since I love retried beans he grabbed me a side of beans & rice to try. The refried beans were excellent! The rice was pretty standard. The burrito was huge!! It was also nice and crisped on the outside like maybe they pressed it once they had it rolled up. The burrito is way over stuffed so be prepared to feel crazy full if you eat the entire thing! For a Sunday morning this place was super quick & super good. read more

Honestly they got much better at their cooking idk if they changed cook but definitely way better would definitely recommend the lengua tacos in flour tortillas read more

This is just a really bad place to eat anything, over cooked meat dry with no type of seasoning slapped onto a tortilla and given to you with some sort of odd pride. The new street taco look is in and with it some of the tiniest tacos your liver lay your eyes on. I simply wouldn't hear it's terribly expensive for what you get, read more

I spent over 100 dollars today and the owner/management actually had the audacity to ask me what I did for a living because I wanted what I order thru door dash I would not order from here owner is a prick read more

Absolutely the best breakfast and street tacos in town. The green hot sauce is the gold standard against all others are measured.

Good food at affordable prices! This is a hole in the wall type place, but they're clean and very friendly. Their breakfast tacos are delicious and are cheap - about $2 each. Their plates are served with rice and refried beans - both super yummy. The corn tortillas are made in house, but flour are not. I took off one star because I've been here several times and they have been making the portions smaller and smaller. The barbacoa has good flavor, just a bit too greasy. Highly recommend this place! read more

This is a small mom & pop home made Mexican restaurant that is amazing! I love the gorditas here so much

Best breakfast tacos in Ennis. Made fresh to order. The green salsa has got a kick but isn't too hot. Yes, it's a hole in the wall but the staff is friendly and obviously takes pride in their food. read more

Awesome little hole-in-the-wall joint. Didn't even get a chance to look the place up on Yelp before stopping by here. Seemed pretty packed with cars going in the drive thru so we took a chance. I have to say, that this place really hit the spot. I had the 3 taco special ($5.99)and the hubs had the fajita plate ($7.99). Same meat used for both dishes, but his had twice the amount of meat. Mine had lots of meat too - they didn't skimp out there. They also gave us a small complimentary basket of chips and extra spicy salsa. Husband also had an authentic Mexican coke in the bottle. No fountain drinks served here, only bottled drinks. Food came out pretty fast and it all was all delicious! Very authentic tasting like the street taco stand in Houston that I am used to. We finished all of our food, because it was just so dang good. And the best part? Our meal was under $20!!! Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic, cheap Mex food. 2 thumbs up! =) We'll be back! read more

Great bfast tacos. I ordered chorizo & potato tacos and they were fresh. The tortillas are street tacos size so a little small, but taste homemade. read more

Taco Gomez - a person holding a plastic container filled with tacos - Mexican Near Me - Ennis, Texas

Very small restaurant, hard to park in their lot. Burrito was good but gave off american vibes (cheese blend, iceberg lettuce)

Had the Barbacoa plate-mmmm, so amazing! The corn tortillas are made in house. It looks like a hole in the wall, but the food is too good to pass up! read more

The Carne asada plate is amazing!! Be sure to distinguish you want a glass of water vs a bottle or you will get charged.

Great quick stop on the way to Houston. I had the chicken flautas plate- so good served with 3 plus rice/beans and sliced avocados. Daughter had Chicken and shrimp burrito and husband had el pastor plate. All were delicious! Great portions. The salsa was fresh! Friendly service. We would stop here again. read more

We had the fajita tacos which were very good, nice and freshly made corn tortillas. The chips and salsa were incredible, I couldn't stop eating and I'm not a chips and salsa person usually. The beef fajita quesadillas were very tasty although it could have used some avocado. I gave them minus one star because they were out of the poblano and cheese filling as well as agua fresca and a few other items I was interested in. This is some of the best mexican food i've had in Ennis aside from Birrieria Aguanada (i'm guessing at the name. lol) read more

Had a Dr. appointment in town and decided to give this place a try. Ordered the pork red sauce taco plate that comes with rice and beans. It was very delicious! I especially liked the spicy verde and red sauce that you pore on top of the tacos! Chips and salsa was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cook was really nice too. It's a hole in the wall, but I highly recommend. read more

Delicious street tacos and reasonable pricing. Friendly staff.

I come here for lunch at least twice a week, their tacos are out of this world. You won't find food at this quality for this price anywhere else in town. read more

Taco Gomez - I already ate a taco before I took the picture. So good! - Mexican Near Me - Ennis, Texas

Omg I haven't had an authentic taco in a long time! No tex-Mex this was the real deal! I ordered fajita tacos, everything was pure perfection even the salsa. I was passing through from Houston and seen the reviews definitely would say they were correct and worth it! And the price is great also please try this hidden gem read more

The reviews are all correct this place is a jewel. The Barbacoa plate is to die for. My wife had the parillada mixed grill skillet, delicious! Friendly service, highly recommend! read more

I had the special plate at the drive through yesterday. This is the second time I have ordered this plate and the first time it was really bland. Yesterday it was fantastic! So delicious. I had 1 chicken taco and 2 beef fajita tacos and the beans were flavorful and the rice nice & fluffy. All of it was really good! Not a fancy spot but really great food and very very affordable! read more

The meal we had here was out of this world tasty. We were en route from Dallas to Houston and decided to stray off the highway 2 minutes to try Taco Gomez. The tacos and burritos were incredibly flavorful and came out promptly. I had the special (3 beef tacos on corn with rice and beans) and Butch had a beef burrito, one steak taco on flour, and two pastor tacos. Tortillas were so tasty, sauces were perfectly tangy and spicy, and the meat was fantastic. Definitely a new stop on our road trips down south! read more

Stopped by because of great reviews and we love to go to mom and pop places. Husband had fajita quesadilla - meat was so tender. I had the barbacoa plate with fresh corn tortillas - never had that before and really liked it. The red sauce was amazing! Small place - maybe 10 tables. - everyone was so nice. We will definitely be back. read more

This place is the real deal. Authentic and delicious! I had tostadas with rice, beans, avocado, cilantro, cheese, tomatoes, and onions. Would absolutely come back! read more

A great street taco quick stop! Stopped while on our way south from Dallas. Very happy!

Excellent food. We had Huevos Rancheros and Egg Papa Tacos. Home made tortillas and chips and salsa. All was great. It's a hole in the wall so don't expect a modest, socioeconomic environment. Very nice staff! Definitely worth the stop. Great prices! read more
