I've been a loyal chilis customer for years. Always chose it over over chain restaurants. UNTIL I moved to Dothan. I've been here 3 times. Twice were to go orders and once we ate in. Our to-go orders are NEVER to go. We place the order 40-50 minutes in advance and go to pick it up and end up waiting 40 minutes. I'm assuming that's because they don't actually cook it until we get there. The one time we did decide to go in and eat. We were there 2 hours, Between waiting on our appetizer and our actual meal. Worst service ever. Our drinks were only refilled when we asked for them. Chilis needs to fire every person in this chilis and just start over. read more

Worst service and food of my life. If I could give it 0 starts I would. Me and my husband had never been before. we walked in and were seated, and it took about 10 minutes for us to even get drinks which were a sweet tea and a strawberry lemonade. Lemonade wasn't good and the "sweet tea" was unsweetened tea. The server left us some chips and salsa and the chips were greasy and stale. About 10 more minutes passed and our server finally came back and asked us if we were ready to order. We asked for a sweet tea instead of the unsweetened and began to order. Took the server 20 min to put in the order and he never came back with the replacement drink. Walked by us multiple times along with other severs too. Cleaning off tables and such. Nobody ever came back. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. We will not be back and I will suggest that nobody else put their money into this "restaurant" read more

We were hurricane victims from Marianna, FL. We came in and the staff was AMAZING. Not only was Cat our waitress outstanding but Ryan the manager went out of his way to help us. They loaded 18 bags of ice and gallons upon gallons of water in our vehicles. In the middle of the craziness of our precious town getting leveled out, this was a God send. The only reason I'm giving this review a star is because it's required for the post, called after the wait at our initial dinner choice had an excessive wait time called Chili's when we were about 2-3 minuets away to check wait time and was advised "no line no wait" 3 minuets later we arrive to sign in, multiple tables in dire need of cleaning from moment of arrival through this point. Have ordered drink 3 times and still haven't seen them. The bartender is busting his tail...the servers just aren't turning the orders in. There appears to be one, maybe two servers who actually know what the heck they're doing and they're trying to tote their tables as well as help with as many requests as possible from other tables. 45 minuets in finally got a drink, still no food, when I get out of here I won't be back read more

My family and I went there and had lunch today. Our server Jamie was amazing! He came to our table right away and told us a few people called out so they were very understaffed and food would be awhile.(Several families walked out because of the wait). We didn't mind waiting, as he was polite, funny and really outgoing. I have worked in food &beverage for many years and felt sorry for the servers, especially Jamie. He was the only sever in the bar area, was making almost all the drinks (@the bar) for 98%of the alcoholic beverages in the restaurant, bussing his own tables and doing to go orders. The hostess at the front seemed confused and not sure what to do with the steady stream of customers walking in with no where to seat them because of full or dirty tables. The manager was in the back cooking and was running food as well. I truly felt sorry for Jamie as the others servers were bussing their own tables and coming over to ask Jamie to make drinks for them, but only one helped him (a blond server made a drink order for him @the same time she made hers). Jamie was doing everything he could to stay afloat, but the dishes at the tables and the bar kept piling up. Shortly before we left, the hostess asked Jamie "are you caught up?" when he had dishes everywhere &only 2 clean tables.(I wanted to ask him "Are you serious?" He's swamped and you have helped everyone but him!") Jamie asked him to wipe down a table that he had just pulled the dishes off of. The hostess did wipe down the table top,but missed the food in the seat/floor and napkins/ silverware on the floor. I spoke with the manager and let him know while I was very impressed with our server and the food, better teamwork needed to be worked out among the staff. A few minutes later I saw the manager showing the hostess the proper way to bus a table. We will be back because of Jamie, and hopefully the teamwork aspect will iron itself out by the end of the day as we are big fans of Chilis :) read more

Second trip to this location, generally a big fan of chili's for a quick meal. I don't take one bad experience as the norm for a place, but two bad experiences and I'm convinced. Slow services, orders forgotten and meals coming out 10-15 minutes after each other. Friendly wait staff, but not worth the hassle. read more

I am a very loyal chili's customer. Favorite thing on the menu is their Presidente Margarita. I came to this chili's for the first time. The Presidente Margarita did not taste the same as I am used to. They did not use the same tequila as the normal chilis I visit. I believe they used Jose Cuervo, which in my opinion is nasty. The mix also did not taste the same. Overall, the food did not taste as good as we are used to either. The customer service was okay, nothing outstanding. read more

Awful dining experience last night. My son and I met friends at Chili's that were in town and I had not seen in probably 20 years. My son and I and my friend's daughter all ordered the steak. My son asked for medium on his steak and our friend's daughter ordered medium well. The daughter, who is 12, took one bite of her steak and started choking. She was literally standing up over the table choking and her dad was trying to dig the meat out of her throat. None of the staff ever noticed, but everyone around us dining did. While she was in the bathroom, her dad tried to cut the steak up for her, and could not even cut it with the knife because it was so tough! My son cut into his steak and it looked like they had just sliced it off of the cow and threw it on the plate! It was RAW flesh!!! When the server came back to our table we tried to let her know that both kids' steak was EXTREMELY rare and could they take it back. The server kept saying, do you just want it cooked more, even though the dad was telling her he tried to cut the steak and couldn't even cut through it. My friends are very nice people, and finally just said, it doesn't matter, instead of telling her she needed to get his daughter a new steak. Then the server was asking me, if my son wanted his cooked well done. I said, if this is medium, then yes, we want it medium well. When she brought them back out, she brought our friend's daughter a new steak, and said the cook said her steak was all grissel! Well I guess we know why she choked now. My son cut into his steak that had been recooked. It was still so red and disgusting he could barely eat any of it. He ate a few bites, and we took the rest home so maybe we could cook it at home. BTW, my steak was supposed to be medium well and was very well done. When we were about to leave, we stood up and the mom and I were talking about something so we stood by the table for a minute finishing our conversation. The server was cleaning some of the booths near us, and suddenly we here this huge aggravated huff or sigh, and I look and she's rolling her eyes. I guess we were in her way! I waited tables for 20 so years off and on all while in chronic pain and certainly understand people may be tired, in pain, having issues, or whatever, but you keep it to yourself! It was very disappointing. We planned to have a nice meal with some people that were extremely important in my life growing up that I had not seen in a very long time. Me and my mom just simply love Chili's. We give each other gift cards all the time. We are on this kick to try every thing on the menu. Unfortunately I'm stuck on always getting country fried steak, appetizer trio, the presidente margaritas,and bottomless chips and salsa. My mom is on a Queso Skillet and the honey chipotle chicken tenders kick. One day we were shopping in Dothan, AL, my mom got hungry, and asked what's for lunch. We looked at each other and both said at the same time Chili's. But we didn't have the time to eat in. So she pulled out her Chili's menu and I pulled out my cell phone (yes I have every Chili's resturants' phone number within 100 miles in 3 different states saved on my phone. And before we got there it started pouring down raining. We pulled in and parked and before I could get my umbrella in my hand and my hand on the door, out runs a young man with 2 big bags of food straight to my car window. I usually love Chilis but this was my first and last time here in Dothan. I ordered a small to go order and arrived when my food was supposed to be ready for pick up. I stood at the to go checkout desk waiting to talk to someone and the kitchen staff looked at me multiple times but no one would come to the checkout. So I sat and waited for 25 minutes, I guess no one is dedicated to the to go area, I don't know. I then decided I was wasting my time and left.
