We repeatedly have great service and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is great for families, friends, or couples.

I've been a fan of Chili's for a while. They've still got it, but there are some confusing decisions. We tried the mozzarella sticks for the first time and man. You've gotta try those. So flavorful and filling. Marinara complemented it well. I used to favor their steak, but this time I went for their bacon burger. It was phenomenal. Didn't expect Chili's to be an A-grade burger joint but man, it was so flavorful. Super messy, but good. Fries were well seasoned and cooked well. One of us would have gotten steak had corn still been on the menu. But they very recently removed it? How can you be Tex-Mex and not sell corn? Baffling decision. Service was fine. Quick. Answered our questions. Did not wait long for food. Ambiance has hardly changed in 15 years. They played some good, well-known, dated music. Great for a family restaurant. TVs up playing sports for those who care. Bathrooms could be better. Need to be modernized. Urinal flushes so slowly, water takes forever to go down. Soap and faucet was not automatic, but towel dispenser was (and perfectly responsive). In a Tex-Mex place, it can be expected that the bathrooms are frequented more, so I think further steps should be taken to keep it cleaner. The food itself, aside from the criminally-absent corn, is an easy 9/10. Bathrooms were a 4. Service an 8. Atmosphere a 9. A worthwhile visit. I plan to return. I hope the corn does too. read more

TRASH ... I get I was just a DoorDash ... a non-paying customer. I arrived at my pick up time of 7:52. IMMEDIATELY noticed people laughing joking playing "grab ass" in the back. To include the manager, a female. Waited until 8:00 for the "to-go" person to tell me it would be another 10-15 minutes. I do not get paid to wait long periods. So I left and got another assigned driver after calling DoorDash. I called the " restaurant" back to inquire about that awful wait time and the how people can be conducting such activities in the back when there was very little in terms of customers. She then proceeded to tell me that my order was ready in three minutes when her own employee said 10-15 rather smugly. I don't get angry often but when people lie is something else to me; especially when I witnessed the same manager playing; laughing and joking along with them. She then proceeded to hang up; not before telling me don't worry you don't have to come in here and dine either. I called back to attempt to obtain a store number and she hung up again. Then proceeded to give a bogus store number. I'm a local here in the same town and I assure you I will ensure their only clientele is highway traffic. read more

We tried to eat there last night. We came in and stood there for about 5 minutes before the bartender came over and asked how mamy. We told her we needed a table for 2. She curtly stated that it would be about 10 minutes before they could get a table cleaned off and then went back to the bar. The restaurant was almost completely empty. We continued standing there as she went about her business at the bar. I saw no action on her part that she was even trying to get us a table. We finally left without getting a table. Others had come in after us and were never even acknowledged. They could have been shorthanded, but they should have at least told us that. read more

I have always loved chili's and never had any problems in the restaurant. Our take home/curb service was not so great. Unfortunately my steak was burnt black on one side and I had 2 long hairs wrapped inside the aluminum along with my corn cob. Had to throw away both :( My granddaughter chicken dippers didn't come with anything to dip them in either. I just had thought it did. She wouldn't eat those either they were very very tough. Normally we always have awesome food here. This was first time ordering to go. If you're paying the same price as eat in then your food should be just as good. Called ahead and they said not busy no wait, 45 minutes wait. Tabled we were seated at dirty. The hostesses was acting like she wished she was somewhere else. Never felt welcomed. The waitress messed up our order, one person ordered a salad and a margarita, neither came. After we reminded her she said she would check....... never saw them. Went to the restroom, no toilet paper, shit on floor. Dirty! No towels to dry hands. This is a shame have not been there in a year because of the pandemic. One of our favorite places to go. The food is always good, service is good, and the wait is usually short. Use their app to check wait times and to check in. We have never had a bad meal here. There are also unique items on the menu like this jalapeño margarita. Nice spicy drink, it's sort of like a spicy Bloody Mary with a sweet kick. Good drink. My mother and I went here for lunch. It was deserted, yet no one acknowledged us for 10-15 minutes. We both got the burger lunch special. My mom got cheese, I did not. I suppose her cheeseburger was too sweet to recognize that her burger was WAY too salty. As for myself, without the cheese I could taste that the burger was so salty that it seemed like the cooks were pulling pranks on the customers. I ate less than half of my burger, then got something to eat on the way home (Burger King; half the price and twice as good!). Our "server" never bothered to check on us or offer refills for their overly salty food. We tried to leave feedback on their digital table side computer, but it's more complicated than filling out your taxes, so we just paid and left. NEVER AGAIN! There are many fast-casual restaurants competing for your dollars. Let Chili's die the death that it deserves. read more

Love the food here, but getting a drink refill is almost impossible. The wait staff could use some coaching on how to actually treat a customer. Not all are bad, but some have some serious attitude. This Chili's location is the epicenter of mediocrity. I can't look you in the eye and tell you I've had a terrible meal here, but I certainly haven't had a great one, either. Chili's isn't a bad chain, but this location just can't seem to get it together. We've given them several chances, and every time, it takes 10 minutes before someone visits our table. The food always comes out lukewarm, and God help you if you want a drink refill. The place seems perpetually understaffed, but the staff members we've encountered have been pleasant overall. We got to the restaurant at 4:40 and we were told there was a 30 minute wait. We were finally seated at 6:00. We were seated about 5:10 but promptly told we weren't the party they thought so we had to stand back up for 20 more minutes. As I'm writing this, we are still waiting to get our drink order. It's been about 20 minutes already. So here's the deal: they are obviously GROSSLY short staffed. I understand that. But there comes a point to where management should say, we are going to have to close tonigh because we cannot accommodate customers with even a reasonable amount of promptness. If you are making loyal customers wait unreasonable long, you are hurting your business. Just give management the power to say, we can't handle the crowd this short staffed. Management should know this. It's common sense to me, so I'll bet they should be allowed to make that call without corporate retribution. Again, my complaint is not that they are short staffed. I understand that. But maybe Saturday night isn't the best night to try to accommodate customers with reasonable service. read more

We have eaten there with family and friend several times lately. While it is never our first choice or even second. Service is unreliable most of the time slow. We had a waitress that would not help us with our check at all. she put the electric thing in front of me and walked off. I had to stop the hostess and ask for help. But sometimes when you are on the road you have a Forrest Gump moment ("You never know what you'll get) and choose what you figure will be bland and safe. . . . .Which led us to this Chili's for lunch at Bristol's Exit 7 (in Bristol, all of the big chain restaurants are at I-81's Exit 7). If you don't know how to get there, this place looks impossible to find. It is in the corner of a shopping center but there are limited entrances and we ended up almost driving to Gate City and back to get there. Hint: drive *past* the restaurant and turn left. The service was okay. Not exceptional but entirely satisfactory. The food was better than I expected. We had lunch combos. My wife had chili and a quesadilla, I had a spicy chicken and sausage soup and sliders (I think they call them Burger Bites). All 4 were quite tasty, with the exception of the chili, which had a good meaty flavor but an unpleasant consistency that reminded me of the chili sold at Wendy's. All in all, the experience improved my opinion of the Chili's chain, and if you're a fan of the chain, this one does the brand well IMO. read more

First off, I love a mature staff and many of the waiters and bartenders have been at this location for years and are not all nervous and interrupting as many younger waiters tend to be. Chilis is always updating their menu and frankly their Mexican food is much better than what there is to be had a strictly Mexican restaurants in Bristol.
