They made a pretty decent shrimp bowl. It was prepared in the time they promised and no complaints about customer service.

The safest place to eat for lunch since all the police officers meet here:) The Caribbean salad was crisp and tasty but could use less iceberg lettuce and other greens. The Salmon was nice but a little bland. Nothing a bit of salt couldnt cure. The pricing was good though at $10 a piece for lunch. Satisfying and definitely better than fast food when traveling.

This is an early stages luxury resort that is hitting full stride in 2026 having opened in 2022 and…read morerecently awarded 4 stars by Forbes. The main building is a lovely and spacious modern inn that balances comfort and traditional elements with open and wide modern floor plans and bright spaces in a pleasing way while retaining the cozy fireplace experiences of more traditional settings. A first floor outdoor veranda opposite the main entrance stretches the length of the main building overlooking the well groomed hillside vineyards and a stocked, picturesque fishing pond. The hillside stretches up the horizon and with the westward facing veranda, offers stunning sunset views along with wine service. Below is a patio off the main restaurant and bar offering even more seating around fire pits with couches and Adirondack chairs with appetizer and drinks available for the bar/restaurant. We toured a king 2 room suite with a large sitting area separated from an equally large and well appointed sleeping area with a private large balcony that also faced the western sunset over the vineyards. The rooms were described as more akin to an apartment whereas the 9 onsite yurts accommodations were described more akin to a condo, described as pet friendly and a quiet community. Behind the yurts is a large barn structure that serves as a tasting room with an outdoor seating area with Edison lights strung around the overhang creating a warm space to enjoy the vineyards end production, currently nine wine vintages. Beside the main building are two much larger shaped yurt structures housing a full fitness center and a spa as will as an outdoor pool. We dined at Hickory for dinner and enjoyed their farm to table, Appalachia oriented menus. That will be a separate review but it hits 10/10 for hospitality, service, presentation and food excellence. We plan a fall trip for an overnight stay when the vineyards come in just before harvest to get the full experience! Also, we initially had a glass of their Chardonnay and being pleased with this, we opted to enjoy a bottle with dinner even though the wine list had equally excellent choices from familiar vineyards. This is highly recommended!

You walk in and there's outdoor seating with the garage doors open. It was very pleasant outside but we chose to eat indoors. The artwork on the walls is so clever and unique. Our server came over right away and took our drink order. She gave us ample time to look at the menu, which is huge with lots of different options! I ordered the half club sandwich. It doesn't come on sliced bread. It comes on some type of bun. It was HUGE. I couldn't eat it all even though it was delicious. It comes with their homemade spiral chips and they were delicious!! My friends ordered a slice of the Key Lime Pie! Wow, I got a bite and it was delicious! We all highly recommend this place and definitely plan to return in the future! My grandchildren loved it so much that they wanted to return the following day for dinner. This visit did not go as expected. Food came out cold . Had been sitting out for a while. We barely ate our food as it was nothing like the previous evening. Seemed to be very short staffed , but our server did the best she could under the circumstances. I ordered fried okra as one of my vegetables and I never received it until we were ready to leave. Server said she put the order in 3 separate times , so it sounds like they were also short staffed in the kitchen. I had decided I would never return again or go to my local restaurant very close to my house in NC. As I was paying , the cashier asked me how our food was and I told the truth. She said the store manager would want to talk to me and make things right because they pride themselves on the quality of their food and their service. I was absolutely not trying to get free food but hoped by sharing our experience that this would help the restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and kind and I had no intention of posting a bad review giving the store the benefit of the doubt that maybe this was not the usual. I had eaten there a couple of times before on visits when I was staying at the Hilton Garden next door and everything was wonderful. I have had their dinners and breakfast in the past without any complaints. This trip I was staying at a Marriott near a lot of recommended restaurants, but I chose to drive to the other side of town to go there again after I ate there the night before with my cousins and everything was great. This store has an excellent manager who seemed very upset about what we experienced. I told him what happened and he was very apologetic and insisted on comping our food. I said that was not necessary and I did not expect that , but shared my concerns to hopefully help other customers have a better experience and to be sure this location in my hometown where locals work , would do better in the future. I had no plans to post a negative review, but after this manager went above and beyond and restored my faith in Cracker Barrel, I felt it was necessary to post a good review as any restaurant can have an "off night " due to unforeseen circumstances.

I wish Cracker Barrel was as good as it used to be. Service…read morewas good, not great. Half of the signature chicken that was ordered was good, the other half was very thick and like rubber. Not edible at all. Waitress brought another piece but never bothered to ask if that was better or how everything was. My grilled chicken tenders were pretty good, however, the sides (corn and green beans) were fair at best. Cracker Barrel has switched to the cheapest available canned vegetables. So sad, because I used to love their green beans. Corporate will never read or listen to complaints because all that matters is money, not quality. Honestly, done with CB unless I am desperate and there is no where else nearby.
