Well... Was taken there a week ago for a group lunch... it was surprisingly good... So much so that I gave it another shot today... Wow. What a difference a week makes. This time the burger was overcooked, so much so that I couldn't finish it and thought I would at least take it home for the dog since he'll eat pretty much anything... Well even he wouldn't eat it the leftover burger. Fries, well they varied from some that were fine to others that appeared to have been cooked twice and tasted it as well. Chips... sadly they were oily. I was reminded of why I hadn't gone to this Chili's for years... Years ago it was god awful... It isn't as bad as it was back then but it just isn't that good now. It has a horrible consistency problem given one visit was fine and probably would have rated a 4 star... but today it was crap... so 2 stars is worse than it deserves on a good day but better than it deserves on a day like today. Welp, no more chilis in my future. We ordered an order for delivery and our driver got the food immediately and we live 1 mile away - less than 3 minutes. So this issues I'm going to list aren't going to be due to the food sitting too long. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and a side Caesar salad. The salad was a joke! You can see my pic - I put my finger in there for reference. It had about 4 bites in it. If you can see, the crouton is taller than the amount of lettuce! It was craziness! I would give it zero if I could. We went as a family of five when they weren't even busy. They had barely over 2 tables sat when we got there and our server was slow, took over 30 minutes to get a refill, we were waving people down and asking for napkins and drinks and NOBODY came. Our server finally came AFTER we got our food to refill drinks and then we didn't see him again until it was time for us to leave. I got the ribeye and ordered it medium and it was well done. It was so tough I couldn't finish it. The skillet queso wasn't melted hardly at all when we got it. My son waited a whole 45 minutes for a refill of a kids drink. Absolutely terrible service. Had lunch after church and service to get orders was fine but when brought out meals my son's soup spoon was dirty and just gross. Still had food on back side of it like it had. Not even been washed. Terrible! I've avoided Chilis for this very reason for years because they have gone way downhill. Yesterday we decided to give it a shot since it was close, but first let me say this had nothing to do with the customer service. Customer service was great, this has everything to do with the quality of the food. First my wife ordered the chicken quesadillas and had several slices that had literally nothing between them. Next I ordered the one thing Chilis has been known for all these years, their ribs. I've had some questionable ribs over the years but this was a joke. I ordered a full rack and there was hardly any meat at all and the meat was super dry. I also got Mac and cheese as well as well as street corn on the cob. The Mac and cheese was so bad, the cheese was like it came out of a can, disgusting. Next the street corn, there was so much seasoning on it I literally was coughing because it was so heavily coated and the corn was super soggy with no flavor. Lastly our appetizer which was chips and queso with meat. The queso was a JOKE, tasted like straight up Wolf's chili and was gross. Out of the entire meal the chips were literally the best thing. In the area to watch nephews baseball games and take my father in law out for Father's day dinner. Chili's was in the perfect area. Seated promptly and then greeted with a smile by our server!. I disappeared to the bar to get a TV changed and Addy the bartender did just that changed the channel for me...she also whipped up a tasty citrus margarita in a flash! We got our appetizer in and the service from our server Ellen was super fantastic! The nephews items came out accurate and the overall pace and attention Ellen showed was VIP like in my perspective. My friend and I had a pleasant experience here. We had to wait a bit to be seated, even though the majority of the restaurant was empty, but nothing too crucial. The waitress came immediately to ask our drink order and if any appetizers were desired. My friend got a cheeseburger and fries, and I ordered cheese bites. The food came quickly, and the waitress was pretty attentive to us the entire time. My friend said his meal was pretty good. The burger was cooked perfectly and was "pretty". My cheese bites were great. I love the seasonings that were on top. The restaurant seemed in pretty good order. I didn't have any problems with cleanliness or anything. I really liked that we could pay at the table using a credit card. It definitely speeds up the process of getting in and out. All in all, I'd go back to this location for sure. read more

I don't mind this Chili's. It doesn't have very good reviews but I've never had an issue with the food or service UNTIL I ordered take out and they gave my son barley a handful of fries. Not to sound picky but if I'm going to spend money on food from your restaurant, dining in or not, I expect the food to taste just as good and get the same amount I would as if I were sitting at a table being waited on. He takes our drink order and stays very handy, checking with us politely until we are ready to order. He was that perfect mix of available and taking good care without being at all pushy. The restaurant was FILTHY with food on more than 50% of the tables, which was odd bc we got there around noon and they weren't busy at all. We asked about the $10 special and the waitress ROLLED HER EYES and went for the separate menu. We were on lunch hour. Special with burgers took an hour and 20 minutes. Thankful for the checkout screen at the table so we could pay without waiting longer on the terrible service (and STALE food/fries). I'll never be back.
