Rainy day, maximum full parking lot, crowds inside since patio was unavailable. long wait to just park. Car event took up a portion of the parking lot as well. But none of the extenuating circumstances were their fault. it's what you do with the situation. They handled it with total aplomb. Thus 3*. We were immediately seated. The three of us ordered chicken fajitas, tamale appetizer and Yucatán Tacos. I failed to take photos so please bear with my descriptions. Hubby loves his fajitas. Especially Los Cabos. This order disappointed. They didn't look quite right to me. My tamale appetizerr was a complete failure. Totally charred, for a better word. The two of them looked like beef fingers about the size of my middle finger with masa tucked around each like a little bed. Cheese burned to plate. "As of April 2026, Los Cabos Mexican Grill in the Tulsa area offers a Handmade Spicy Beef Tamales appetizer, featuring two shredded beef tamales in spicy masa topped with chili con carne or queso, often served with sour cream." If it's sour cream you know it's gonna be a little drizzle. I asked for more queso & got about 1 1/2 tablespoons. I Ended up asking for the plate that accompanies fajitas. The dish, burnt, just needed "stuff". You can add rice/beans if you wish. Either make/serve appropriately or not at all. I love tamales. Buy some originals at Reasors, add queso & pico on a bed of rice w/ cilantro and there's a tasty meal (steam the tamales). Our friend who ordered Yucattan tacos at last minute over ceviche, was appalled. The beef was so fatty she couldn't eat It. No cilantro. For $16 that's pretty bad. BUT, returning to the top. The staff was pleasant in midst of this complete mess and responded/delivered to our every request and there were many. We'll be back on a better day so Hubby can get his fajitas fix. We stopped in Los Cabos on the riverwalk for lunch yesterday. We had never been there before. It's located right on the Jenks riverwalk next to the Aquarium. It was a busy lunch rush, but we were seated immediately. They brought us beverages, chips, and salsa right away. The restaurant is decorated as if it is an authentic restaurant in old Mexico. We ordered our entrees, and they arrived very soon piping hot! I ordered the steak fajitas which were outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. There is plenty of parking, and the stroll down the riverwalk is very scenic. It is right on the Arkansas river. They also have an outdoor seating area with a full bar which serves as a live music venue on certain nights. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. read more

First time here and it was a great day for dining on the patio. Very cool server with Will taking good care of us! The Queso was very good! Not so much on the lunch menu. I chose the #1 Acapulco and to be honest I didn't care for it at all. I didn't know that it came with a sour cream sauce or at least it wasn't identified on the menu. If you opt to choose this one definitely do not get the sour cream sauce and if you do definitely get it on the side. My two dining partners chose the Beef Fajitas and they both enjoyed them! We chose to split the Sopapilla bites for dessert - good choice! Overall I liked the atmosphere, had a great server with Will. I'll be looking forward to dining here again. It's 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon and Los Cabos is packed. In spite of that the server was pretty quick to come to our table but he does seem very rushed. We love the chips they serve when you sit down with two different salsas and the chips are always thin and crispy But today they've got a sheen of oil on them. They're still good. The skinny margarita is not as sweet as the premixed margarita which they serve. For my taste too sweet is not great. read more

Totally the TexMex vibe! Pitbull music loud and proud, typical decor, fun waitstaff, and tiki hut bar outside. If you are from out of town or have friends coming in, this is the place to have fun. Didn't try the drinks but with more than bar I'm sure it's top shelf ;). Food...meh. I was wanting something light so I opted for the veggie fajitas. Menu said mushrooms so I kinda expected them. I found two. There also no mention of green peppers but there must have been a sale or something because SO MANY! There were potatoes which I wasn't so sure of but why not? Let's try something new! This is one of my grandparents favorite Mexican restaurants and it's a beautiful spot to hang out on the river! FOOD : This was the first time I actually somewhat enjoyed my meal. Honestly I didn't have super high expectations for it, but it wasn't bad. I got the chicken fajitas and asked for them dry (no oil) and that really made them taste a lot better because they weren't lathered in oil. They gave a lot of veggies which was nice, the chicken was alright but not fantastic (kind of rubbery). Overall it was decent but not fantastic and it had a TON of salt, I was swollen walking out just from Chicken and veggies - agh! Overall it is a nice place to take the family or go on a date, beautiful outdoor patio with a river view which is awesome! Los Cabos is a consistent, eclectic Mexican restaurant with resort inspired fare, a magical ambiance and efficient waitstaff. This place has been the anchor to the Jenks Riverwalk while scores of other restaurants have come and gone. Very consistent kitchen. Their chips are very light and their salsas are unlike any other. Their dark chipotle infused salsa is served warm. Their red salsa has a touch of vinegar. My personal favorites are the Mexico City Street Tacos and the Tilapia Los Cabos--served with a sweet corn tamale cake and mango salsa. Several other adventurous menu items including the Chorizo-Pollo. Pretty much anything on the menu here is solid. Just slightly pricier than the average Tex mex place but worth it. read more

Not only was the food nasty as heck our waiter was very rude and barely talk to us. He walked past our table multiple times when we were waiting to order I even called out Sir and he just kept walking. He was literally sitting down talking to another waiter when the restaurant was super busy. Once he dropped the food off, he asked me how I like it and I told him it's all right and he didn't even ask me any questions after that. He just poured water in my cup and walked away . If you're craving Mexican and already walking along the river walk this is an easy stop but if you're craving Mexican and willing to make a drive somewhere else I definitely recommend making the trip to another Mexican restaurant. The only complimentary item this Mexican restaurant offers is chips and salsa which was the initial disappointment I mean no tortillas and relish?!? You have to pay extra for a set of 3 tortillas and they don't have relish. We ordered their white queso which was just okay but a bowl cost $9. We also had the sampler and the Flautas. The sampler nachos were burnt. The Flautas were really thick and not the best I've had and they only offer chicken fajita. The quesadillas were underwhelming. We ended the meal with mini sopapillas for $5 which were fried so hard they were over cooked and not good at all. I don't think I'll return. read more

The service was excellent! We were seated at table 13 and Sydney took amazing care of us. It's not often you find someone who really cares, she really went the extra mile. We were celebrating our 15 year anniversary (but we did not mention that until we were about to leave, so there was no "special treatment") We go back to Los Cabos Riverwalk since it was the site of our first dinner date. Timely service for being seated and served. We had a great server who checked on us regularly and ensured we had refills. Food was still very warm when it was delivered to the table and had very good flavor. It's a larger Mexican food establishment so there is a lot of noise between the other customers and the music playing. There's outdoor seating that might be quieter - we dined in December so the patio wasn't open. The reason for 4 stars is because part of the backsplash/table fell as we were eating and seemed as if it had been roughly glued back into place a few times. I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews--we had an excellent experience for a basic Mexican restaurant! They start you off with free chips and salsa, and the salsa was surprisingly flavorful. The chicken tacos were fantastic, and the mango margarita was sweet, refreshing, and reasonably priced. Plus, our server was great, which made the visit even better. That said, I do have two minor complaints, but they're more on me than the restaurant. First, the guacamole is $10. I ordered it expecting a small side for the chips, but instead got a large portion... good quality, but definitely not what I had in mind. Second, I ventured into the menu and ordered flautas, which turned out to be pretty basic. I normally stick to tacos at spots like this, so that was on me for trying something different. Stick to the tacos, chips and salsa, and margaritas, and you'll leave happy. Despite my two small missteps, this place deserves 5 stars for the solid food, great drinks, and excellent service! Oh, and pro tip: ask for the shredded chicken in your tacos, it's way better than the grilled! read more

Haven't been to the Jenks location in a while and decided to go after a trip to the outlet mall. I was very disappointed. The "fresh" Guacamole tasted 100% store bought, no flavor, just tomatoes and baby food consistency Avocado. The food was rushed out and barely above lukewarm. Cheese was unmelted, shrimp was rubbery and undercooked, chicken was lukewarm with zero taste. Tortillas cold and soggy. Just absolutely terrible unfortunately. Our server was great and offered to remake but decided it wasn't worth the risk. Only saving grace was the margaritas came out fast and were decent.
