This location is perfectly tucked into a small shopping area! Service was fast, and those French fries were FRESH! I built my own bowl with double protein and the serving was perfect to split into three meals for myself. The kimchi is so tasty! And I love that you can be as creative as you want.

    Amazing crew!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere at Chi'Lantro is vibrant and laid-back, with an inviting, friendly staff that genuinely makes you feel welcome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They go above and beyond to make sure every guest has a great experience. Ordered the Korean Fried Chicken wings with their signature sauce-10/10. And the Korean BBQ steak bowl-7/10. I also got some complimentary veggie gyozas-10/10. Whether you're a foodie looking to try something new or just craving delicious food with flair, Chi'Lantro delivers on every front. It's the perfect spot for casual dining with a serious punch of flavor with its unique blend of Korean/Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend!

Mannnnn we couldn't be happier that the wings and fries are back! They were everything I remember and more, if you never had the chance to experience the original chi lantro then now's your chance.

We have been atleast dozen times to this location chilantro and they are not consistent. Today was the worst, we got 2 rice bowls and one kids bowl, all with tofu, the tofu was super salty, it's like soaked in salty water, obviously we couldn't eat, so called them and told about it, and the lady on other end says Thankyou, I'll inform manager not apologizing for it. So if the manager reads this review, do taste your food before serving it to customers.

Great atmosphere. Sweet staff. Amazing food! Everything was fresh and delicious. I can't stop telling everyone about this place and how good the food was.

The Korean Fried Chicken wings and the Kimchi fries were really good. I definitely recommend trying them. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food was out of this world! Highly recommend!! The service was great and the price was reasonable

$12 for this plus a $1 tip. Why does it seem the cost of things have gone through the roof along side the portion sizes have gone down!!
    Brian V.

This place is beyond delicious. My issue is two things. One they took chicken wings off the menu one of the best options here. I also have a complaint about the price. This cost me $12 plus tip.

The fact that the bowl on the right is an entire $13 portion of food according to this restaurant says it all. Never eating here again

Service is very poor. Food is pricey for the taste. Definitely would rather go to chipotle next door for a better experience.

For meats we tried a solid mix including finger steak, beef tongue, pork belly (both regular and thin), and even beef intestine. We also went through all the banchan, and my parents ordered the veggie pancake and spicy tofu soup. Overall everything was really good. We didn't get a single bad cut and everything was flavorful and cooked well. What really made this place stand out though was the service. MJ took care of us and was incredible from start to finish. Since it was our first time, she walked us through the menu and even helped cook the meats so we could actually relax and enjoy our time together. She stayed on top of the grill, swapping it out right when needed, and was always checking in to see if we needed anything or wanted more banchan. What stood out the most was how thoughtful she was with my parents. She made sure they had food on their plates without overdoing it, which was such a small detail but meant a lot. The food was great, but MJ really made the experience. Definitely coming back.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and such positive energy. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and chill vibe made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and packed with flavor. The seafood pancake was cooked to crispy perfection, something that's surprisingly hard to find, as it's often left a bit doughy at other restaurants. The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of heat, with silky, melt-in-your-mouth tofu and incredibly tender pork belly that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. At one point I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, and before I could even ask for another pair, one of the servers noticed from across the restaurant and immediately brought me a new set. It's those small, thoughtful touches that really set a restaurant apart. SOHA exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Korean food with genuinely exceptional hospitality, this is the place. It has officially become a must-visit every time I'm in Austin.

Soy Honey Chicken: 5/5 I'm not a big fan of the batter but the portion was pretty big, it stayed crispy, the sweetness was nice, the onions were refreshing, and it was good on rice! Short Ribs: 3.5/5 I wasn't too big of a fan - the short ribs were chewy and not as flavorful as other korean places. If you like more mild flavors, this is the one for you. Also, some of the pieces were just bone Steamed Egg: 2/5 It was just egg, not something I would recommend spending your money on. It was soft and hot, but not too flavorful. Kimchi Pancake: 4/5 It was good, crispy, toasty, but there was just more batter than kimchi. The sauce was a bit salty and I prefer more vinegar based dipping sauces with my Korean pancakes. I liked it though, it had a good onion flavor. Pork Belly 5/5: Forgot to take a picture but quite good! Thick cuts, tender, juicy. It's not seasoned but it comes with some lettuce, samjang, and sesame oil. Good vibes and service - it's a good eat, sip, and talk place

We walked in at 9:03 PM on a Tuesday expecting they were still open based on the posted hours, but were told they had already closed. While I understand businesses have to close at some point, what was disappointing was the way it was handled. Instead of a polite, "I'm sorry, we just closed," the hostess greeted us with a condescending, "Uh, are you meeting someone here?" The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and left a poor first impression. Accurate business hours and a more courteous response would have made all the difference.
