Not going to write a long review, it is pointless. This place is an absolute "yes" recommendation either for a casual lunch or a fancy dinner. We did not know anything about it, stumbled upon it while were in the area. What a delight. An amassing service. Very fast and very friendly. Good interior design, great menu to satisfy any cravings. Nice selection of appetizers waiting for you on the table. Short ribs BBQ is a must. And it goes on and on. Everything we tried was up to par. I see some reviews share a concern regarding pricing. Lunch for three hungry people including tips was $85, For amount of food and the selection you get this is not even moderately expensive, this is a very reasonable price. Some of my Korean friends really recommended this place for a dinner and it took a bit to make it there since it's all the way in Cedar Park. It took about 20-ish min to get a table on a little busy of a Saturday evening. The staff were nice, fast, and attentive. My only complaint is that we were asked if we were ready to order as soon as we sat down. It was the first time for all 4 of us so we needed time to look around. I have to note that the meat quality overall is pretty good. We got a premium beef combo for a group of 4 and added some pork belly. It was a great amount of food and we were stuffed. The beer prices are pretty good, especially for large bottles. Banchan is fresh and tasted good, the staff made effort to refill it mid-dinner. Prices for individual plates of meats are rather on a high end for about $24 for 3 slices of pork belly. Adding lettuce is a must to make ssams. If you're not a forgetful kind (hi to fellow ADHD baddies) take advantage of hiding space under your seat to keep your outer layer of clothes and a bag away from the smoke and bbq smell. A note to the management: PLEASE, make your sound system play the music from the music videos that are playing on TVs. Good place for a group event. Meat quality is good. Wait time is about 20 minutes on a busy Saturday. The service here is really good, they cook the meat in front of you just right. As for value, it's good enough. The large combos are priced average. I would say the pork belly was not so much. $25 for 3 slices is a quite steep for unseasoned unpreped meat. You get more beer for your buck at a place like this. I'll still return to try something else. read more

Plan to go explore in H-mart, their food court, then grab a sweet or savory pastry and coffee at 85degrees. All in the same strip mall. Ok.... So this is NOT an AYCE aka all you can eat. In the sense that you pay per plate of meat (the meats are higher quality than many of the ayce places in Austin). Now.. each plate of meat depending on what you order can typically feed 2-3 people so be mindful of that when you are ordering. If you are solo get 1 protein Group of 2. Maybe 2 max Group of 4-5 if you have all adults the 99.00 special is great, it hits all their main meats and good for those new to kbbq or you are treating the family. You will spend that or more on 3-4 meat options anyways. Any protein plate comes with.. soup or egg custard (get the egg.. great on rice), rice. Dinner times 530pm or late can get busy with a wait times and the move the tables pretty quickly. Servers cook the food for you. If you like your beef NOT well done tell them The AYCE are the banchans.. the korean sides that change on the daily. It will always include kim chee. The others could be.. korean cucumber, pickled radish, kim chee fishcake, korean mac salad, green salad dressed with a sesame dressing. You can ask for bean paste to add to the trio of dipping sauces they give you. (Teriyaki ish, mild smabal, pepper and salt) Service.... They work other tables so once they take your order and drinks (beer, shoju-korean sake etc) you have to flag them down for anything else. Save room for the korean ice creams you can buy ala cart in the front.. always fun to try what they have and its like 2.50 ish. I love coming here. If i lived closer id come 1-2 times a month. Solo with 1 protein will run with (with a beer) 40.00. Family of 4-5. Yea you are looking at 70.00+. Is it worth it? I think so.... You eat, be present. Folks grab what they like, want. I had heard of this place prior because they have East Coast locations in Maryland & Virginia, but never had the opportunity to visit. They also have locations in the Houston area. The portions are crazy. After both visits, my boyfriend and I had leftovers to get us through our lunches the next day and then some. They have three different combo offerings (specials) and a variety of sides. The food is flavorful & fresh. I love the way the veg snaps in your mouth bursting with freshness. The spicy beef soup, potstickers (fried and steamed), brisket, & dumpling soup are some of my faves. It's super fun to have your meal cooked (grilled) right at your table. I had a very light lunch of leftovers. So I needed a snack before dinner. I stopped in at Honey Pig BBQ, a Korean restaurant, for some pan fried mandu (pork + vegetables). They are very similar to pot stickers. Boy was the mandu delicious...crispy on the outside and super flavorful and moist on the inside. Honey Pig BBQ is an experience from the colorful interior to the individual table stir fry's. They grill meats, vegetables and rice right in front of you at your table. We will have to come back to have a meal cooked before us. Also, the seating is barrel seats...very unique! I like that there are pigs t-shirts, pictures and other pig artifacts. Went on a Saturday around 6:30 and were seating right away for a party of 2. They don't seem too big but most of their tables are circular and can fit maybe 6 people? I saw some more seating towards the back but it seemed to be for people who don't need the grilling experience. We got a nice variety of banchan and got the beef belly and pork kalbi. It was a good portion for the two of us but I think the cost is above average. I'm not sure if AYCE would be more favorable for the price elsewhere but I do like that they cook for you. I grew up eating Korean BBQ in LA, and had such fond memories of it so I was excited to give it a try. When you walk in, you are instantly greeted by a friendly face. The moment you sit down, you are provided with the assortment of sides you would expect. The standouts were definitely the spicy cucumbers and the fish cakes (we may have had 3+ refills of each). We ordered the $99 sampler to share between the two of us, but easily could have had another person get in on it and still had plenty of food. Some of the meats were better than others. I probably could have passed on the brisket. I also wish the seasoned meat had a tad more flavor, but the rest of the plate and the fantastic service more than made up for any down sides. This place is amazing! This is my second time going. They give you a lot of food so I would recommend on going with a minimum of 4 people in your group. They also don't do have lunch specials during holidays, so keep that in mind if you go during lunch. We want on MLK day so we ended up getting the beef special. The staff was super helpful and very hands on with the cooking portion. Continuously checking in and making sure everything was good. The food was delicious. Besides the meat, the potato salad I could eat buckets of. You get several sides, salad, dipping sauces, and you own water bottle. They also have other drinks for order. It is a lot of food for 2 so you will not be hungry if you have a small party or large party. The round tables do hold 5 or 6 people. Over all great experience. Came here for dinner with friends and it was delicious!! The wait was 25min but we didn't have a reservation. I love that the tables a pretty I tímate and the smoke evacuators are really good so you/your clothes don't smell afterwards!! We got the pork special and the spicy pork with octopus and it was so delicious!!! My favorite was the spicy pork it was so flavorful!! Oh my gosh, I absolutely love Korean food, and I was blown away by Honey Pig BBQ! It was the first time trying a Korean restaurant that wasn't all-you-can-eat, so I was a bit nervous at first. But guess what? They brought out these amazing side dishes and condiments so quickly! I tried all sorts of new things that I never thought I'd like, but they were all absolutely delicious. The amount of food was incredible! I was a bit worried that it might be too much, but it was all so good that I didn't care. The only thing I wished they had was a smaller sampler of different meats that wasn't so expensive and huge. One thing I really liked was that the chef/waiter came over and cooked the meats for us. Since I don't pack my meat thermometer, he made sure nothing was under/over cooked. This isn't Benihanas. Each party has their own table and grill. We went with the premium at our table and it was soooo much food. There was a ton of meat that it feed the 5 at our table easily. The server came and cooked most of the food. We weren't sure if we should be cooking it but she did most of it until the end. The shrimp, steak and squid got over cooked at the end because they were left on the grill. The sides (you get 3 total rounds of the sides like kimchee, etc) we're good. Kinda missing silver noodles. The sauces were perfect. Meats--delicious. We got the beef combo ($99). There were 3 of us so they didn't let us get the top combo ($139) that had more variety like pork belly, squid, shrimp. My question is, why can't I pay more for the bigger combo, regardless of how many people in my party. Feels like a missed revenue growth opportunity. The server cooked our meats for us. A little different since I prefer to cook my own meats so they're to my liking. For instance, why would I dump the entire amount of brisket that takes little time to cook on the grill when I can do it in matches? We could track the wait time as well which was good . The ambiance was good and service was okay . We ordered the spicy chicken and tofu soup . Both tasted good but chicken was a bit on the sweeter side . We ordered medium spicy for both and they were tolerable on the spice level . The sides were many and each tasted really good . You have to watch your meat cook and remind them to switch off when cooked as there might be a chance that it would be overcooked if left for a while, especially the chicken . Visited for a friends birthday and was very impressed. The decor is great, spacious, not too crowded so big groups don't feel that they're smushed together with no room to move around. The food was PHENOMENAL. We ordered two premium steak meals and an order of pork belly. All delicious! Our waitress helped us to cook and prepare the food and did so with perfection on top of excellent service and efficiency. Sometimes the grill is a lot to handle for a big group, but she was very attentive, and really helped us maximize the experience in order to enjoy our birthday celebration. My wife and I have come to eat here plenty of times with our family and friends. This is one of the most authentic Korean restaurants in the area for a Korean Restaurant food chain. They have plenty of meat options, and be careful with your eyes because your stomach will be full before you know it. The service here is fabulous, they say you can cook your own meal but they steadily take care of you he entire time whether they are super busy or not. The ambiance of the restaurant is very open. I will say the music can be super loud at times because they need a white noise to kill the loudness. They have great Korean beer selection to include domestic beer. If you're up to try the Soju go for it. But I myself will not touch and haven't touched soju since I was over in Korea 25 years ago. LoL Plenty of parking in the private lot. I've been here a few times now and the food is consistently good. During my most recent visit, I was with a group of people who were new to the KBBQ experience. Honey Pig seemed like a good pick because they are supposed to cook the meat for you here. However, our waitress was not keeping an eye on our table and our meat would have burned if I didn't take care of it myself. In addition, while the grill was being changed, the container holding the drained oil fell into the flame. Thankfully, it didn't spill but the workers really need more training because this can pose serious danger. With an automatic gratuity added, I'd hope for better service.
