It was fine. Not mind blowing pizza or anything but I would eat it again. It looks good but weirdly its just not very flavorful. A lot of people complained about the price but honestly I thought the price was pretty standard if you get pizza from independent restaurants and not fast food places. Of the pizza I have had in Long Beach I would rate it side by side with the others. When I visited on the weekend they seemed pretty overwhelmed and understaffed which was surprising given you'd think they would plan for that. With that said during the week I akso went and it felt the same. But they were very friendly. Overall if you are looking for pizza and nearby, try it out but don't go out of your way and expect to wait much longer than you think you should even if you called ahead.

We love stopping here anytime in Long Beach and never disappointed . Last night had The Tom Thumb Extra Large and a nice salad . Great atmosphere and pizza crust is spot on old school . Good prices, great food and friendly service

We were camping at Cape Disappointment state park to crab for a few days. We needed to drive into town to restock on supplies and we were starving and pizza sounded really good. My boyfriend prefers thin crust with lots of toppings both veggies and meat. We walked into the restaurant to order and the interior was well lit and looked welcoming. There were games for people to play with and many tables for dining in. The space was huge. We ordered the large Merry mix up and added pineapple. My boyfriend heard on a Joe Rogan podcast that Joe loves pineapple and anchovies together so we had to try it. We also ordered a large salad bar Togo as well. We're a sucker for salad bar. Endless toppings, so many different toppings. They even had potato salad and macaroni salad. The macaroni salad is really good. We put that on the side of the salad, not on top. We sat down at a table and waited maybe ten to fifteen minutes for the pizza. Wasn't that long at all, and there was only a couple other orders in line. We knew they had thin crust pizza , that's why we went there . But we did not know how spectacular the thin crispy crust can hold up layers upon layers of toppings . The pizza was cheesy, the thin crust was crispy, a great crunch. The crust didn't flop due to the stack of toppings on top. Which amazed us. The bounty of toppings was what dreams are made of. Each slice had plenty of toppings. Our toppings had toppings. One of the best pizzas we've had.

Waited over an hour for the pizza but it was pretty good. Response to owner: The site still shows 4304 Pacific Way when I place a new order and my email receipt shows that location. Maybe something happened...

Cardboard crust - no rise. Burnt edges.

So disappointed. We have eaten here before and enjoyed their pizza. This is the first time we ordered to go. This pizza was disappointing. The crust hhad no rise to it - flat like cardboard and burnt on edges. I called to alert them to issue - all I got was it is thin pizza. When I said we have had their pizza before and this dough had a problem - no rise - I got crickets. No apologies nothing. CHECK your to go orders before you pick them up.

Nice interior. The salad bar was small but good. A couple of items might not have been the freshest but nothing wrong and it was reasonable particularly given it is late fall. The only lettuce was Romaine. The pizza wasn't the best. The toppings were fine but the sauce was a touch sweet. The crust was thin and hard like a frozen pizza from the supermarket. It isn't something I would look forward to if I lived here. More of a place to take the kids if I didn't want to cook.

We have ordered this pizza three times for cart out, it has been wrong every time we go to pick it up! They always offer to make it over, problem is, there are people wait and ready to eat! There are two places to leave extra info and the receipt shows it twice. Surely they have one or two people working g that can read... Very disappointing!!! Three strikes, you're out! Adios Chico's...

I must first identify myself as an east coast pizza snob. No one, in my opinion, in the PNW can ever beat a true, blue NY pizza. So, it is with this biased filter I leave my review. I've lived in the area for over 30 years and have loudly railed against Chico's pizza. It had the taste and texture of old cardboard and I could never understand how anyone could eat it. You were better off with a frozen Digiorno's! But, knowing they had a change of ownership and hearing the place was cleaned up, we decided to give it a try once more. The cashier greeted us warmly and gave us time to figure out our order. The renovations are nice. It was so nice walking into the large, well lit restaurant. It's clean! That's nice, let me tell you! The windows were clean, the carpet was clean, the counters were clean...such a nice clean place! (Did I say it was clean?) The salad bar also looked clean, fresh with lots of variety to pick from. We decided on a large half Hawaiian, half something with meat for my carnivore husband. We also got two small salads. As previously stated, the salad bar looked healthy. The lettuce was a nice mix of different, fresh greens. No bruised, brown or wilted lettuce. Lots of accoutrements to choose from. We sat in a roomy booth and ate our salads, and the pizza arrived in a timely fashion. The crust is thin and crispy. No NY folding is going to happen with this pizza, but that's ok. It was sturdy and held the toppings and cheese very well. And the toppings were generous. It reminded me of Shakey's, to be honest. The only thing missing was the balloon man with cardboard feet. (If you know, you know!) My one criticism would be the sauce was kind of flavorless. It wasn't bad....it just needed to be a bit more with some flavor to it. Also, there was no air conditioning...not sure if it was broken or if they don't have it, but it was pretty warm in the restaurant, which wasn't nice on this hot day, but I can see how it would be cozy on a wet, cold PNW fall/winter day! Overall, we enjoyed the food. We will definitely come come back again when I'm not making my own pizza. Not a five star, but a solid 4 from this east coast girl.

It's not easy to find a pizza place that has great pizza and offers gluten free crust but they nailed it. Really yummy.

One can dine onsite, there's also covered outdoor seating, or menu items are also available for takeout. We lucked out that we were seated without much of a wait and there was live music provided by a talented trio. Efficient wait person covering all the tables in the dining room. We both started with the house salads and the chicken parmesan entrees with garlic bread. Talk about flying under the radar in Seaview. The salads were fresh, chicken cutlets were succulent, and pasta perfectly al dente. Props to the kitchen crew! The Homie was able to indulge in an icy Coke and a slice of Nutella Cheesecake garnished with hazelnuts. The refrigerated pastry case selections looked enticing, but I was pleasantly full. Great find but without the crazy busy lines at other spots.

We arrived before 5:00 pm, and it took a while to even put an order in. Even though we were sitting in the bar and there were a LOT of servers/bussers/etc. We ordered the Mushroom burger, the Chicken Bacon Guac burger and the Prime Rib Dip. Let's start with the pros - the Chicken Bacon Guac burger was pretty good! But the Prime Rib Dip had something like shredded meat on it, not sliced meat. So, when you dipped it in the Au jus, chunks of meet fell into the Au jus. Be ready to fish them out with a fork! The Mushroom burger was an exceptionally thin burger. Our server asked how we wanted it cooked. But it didn't matter. A burger that thin was coming out well done, no matter what. It had mushrooms on it, but not many at all. And we ordered the Cajun Tater Tots. Tonight, it was just like someone cooked tater tots, then shook some seasoning on them, and maybe the lid fell off the seasoning? They were drenched in some kind of Cajun-adjacent spice. We had recently been telling visiting guests that the Lost Roo was the one consistent, reasonably priced restaurant on the peninsula. We're going to have to stop telling people that now. Sadly, it'll be a while before we go back.
