    Lasagna!

Very cute restaurant! We started with bread, Olive oil and balsamic- the bread was light and crusty. Then a sliced beef bruschetta which was also tasty... I had a mushroom pasta- mushrooms were hand picked... so good! My mom's lasagna was excellent as well- so many beautiful layers. We will def be back!

What a fantastic dining experience! We were absolutely thrilled to find such a wonderful spot in Ocean Park. The restaurant is very small and cozy (definitely recommend making a reservation), with an open kitchen concept that adds a fun, personal touch to the evening. We ordered the chef's special -- a perfectly cooked piece of fish served over creamy risotto with a fresh, dressed arugula salad -- and it was outstanding. We also shared the boar pasta dish and the sliced beef bruschetta, both of which were full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The fresh baked bread with a delicious balsamic vinegar and olive oil for the table was a great start to the meal, and we enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with everything. Service was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming -- and the chef even joked around with us a bit, which made the experience even more memorable. Our total bill was around $150, and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend this place! We're so excited to finally have a dining experience of this caliber in Ocean Park. We'll definitely be back!

Had a great Valentine's Day dinner! Beyond good at a reasonable price! Chef Paul and staff did a great job

Small intimate space. Definitely get a reservation. Maybe 10 table dining room. This is our second time there. We had the same server as last time. Stellar and I mean stellar personal service. Food was over the top delicious, huge depth of flavor and you can tell there is an attention to detail that doesn't rival anything else on the peninsula. We asked for a glass of Sangiovese wine to share but the server suggested a better red and boy was he right! We also got to have a great one on one conversation with the chef. He knows what he is doing and if it's the special, just order it. It will be amazing. Every time we come back to Long Beach we will be going here no matter what. It's a must try for this little ocean town.

We decided to treat ourselves for my hubby's birthday, so we made reservations at Mycovios. Our waiter greeted us by name and was very attentive throughout the meal. We started with the Bruschetta with tomato marmalade and wedge salad which we asked to split. Both were amazing! For our main I had the special which was a mushroom risotto with rock fish. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and fava beans in the creamy risotto were delicious. Dan had the lasagna which came to the table piping hot. It was a mild sauce and creamy. For dessert Dan had the tiramisu which was very creamy with a lot of coffee powder. I had the lemon bar dessert. The crust was a bit thick but tasty. The merengue on top was toasted and tasty with crunchy bits on top. Lindor truffles came with the bill. It was a delicious adventure!

Your info on this page stated you were open Monday. However the message. Center indicated you are only open Thursday thru Sunday? My kids will be here for Monday and love Mycovios . I would love to bring them

Lori, I’m sorry but we are closed Mondays during the winter months, Thursday-Sunday 4.30-8pm, and we are open both Xmas Eve and new years Eve and Day. Thank you

Hello, do you serve non-alcoholic beer? My husband enjoys beer but cannot have alcohol due to medications he is taking. We have reservations for this week and I know he would enjoy having one or two with his dinner.

We don’t, but I’ll see if I can grab a six pack at the local thrift way for you.

She suggested the beef medallions with mushrooms, so we got that, as well as the house lasagna. Both were absolutely delicious! Lasagna is his all time favorite - and what his mother would have made him if we had been able to make it back East for his birthday, (but we got stormed out). I was thrilled that he thought this was just as good. I don't do mushrooms but can maneuver my way around them (which means picking them out at putting them on my boyfriends plate). The restaurant is charming and intimate and decor very much takes you from Seaside, OR to any small town in Italy (or Little Italy in NYC). Maria was our server (according to the receipt) and she was awesome! She was personable, and spent time visiting with us and telling us the history of the restaurant. She also helped me be sneaky and hid the little birthday cake I snuck in my bag and hid it in back, then had brought it out later; adding a bunch of ice cream to it - and got the other restaurant guests to suing Happy Birthday to him. My boyfriend is fairly private so this intimate setting and delicious food, was exactly what he wanted and a wonderful surprise for him.

The server remembered me and my kids tonight from our last visit a year ago! Tonight's chicken marsala was as good as you'll find in Seattle, where we're from. The foccacia is a cut above, and the desserts are to die for. I believe they make them in house? Definitely try the cheesecake and chocolate orange cake. I would come here more often if we didn't live so far away and would consider it worth the drive if it were, say, in Shoreline, or Burien... As they note on a sign you'll see on your way in, the food is made from scratch and so takes a little longer than you might be used to at a lesser quality restaurant, but it is 100% worth it.

It was a bust Saturday night and we had no reservations however they fit us in as it was just two of us. We had a newer waitress and she was very sweet however she definitely needs more training. The manager should focus on training and her job instead of trying to do it all. She ran around the restaurant but never really seemed to be accomplishing much. The busier and expediter were excellent and gave spectacular service! They went above and beyond to ensure the guests they interacted with were taken care of. We ordered a bottle of wine and sat for 15+ minutes waiting for anything, wine, water, bread..... we were on the verge of walking out when the expeditor stopped and took care of us. We order two very simple dishes and they over complicated both of them. Shrimp scampi and scallop scampi. All you could taste was onions, and garlic. It had no butter or wine flavor what so ever. If we could give any advice it would be focus on what you need to as it has such amazing promise to a spectacular establishment.

Our server was also just right. I got the Negroni melone because I'm a sucker for Negronis. It was decent, though it would have been much better with a gentleman's cube. The hubs got a blood orange cocktail that was really yummy. We started with the ricotta and preserved tomato crostini, which was excellent! We heard that the place usually is very crowded and the wait can be long. So we tried to get there earlier for dinner. Positives: -the food was once again amazing. I can see why it's crowded and for good reason. The spot is a little smaller and probably the best Italian spot in town. We had meatballs last time, I remember it and it was hard to order something else this time. I got the lamb and my wife got beef ragu. We also ordered lasagna and the deviled eggs. -the prices were reasonable which is why we ordered so much. -the food was so good that we surprisingly finished everything we ordered.
