If you like Chico's you already know what they sell. You know their unique style, weird sizing, medium pricing. clearance racks, and big one item coupons to get you in the door. However as a husband who has been graciously waiting on his wife and mother-in-law for an hour eventually the need for a restroom can arise. Most Chico's have a restroom and are happy to let it be used by customers. Instead I was pointed to a neighbor restaurant and told to go in the side door, or use the parking lot garage public restroom down the street. Men's room at restaurant needs a code. The parking lot one is grungy. Serve your customers and their partner/driver! Substandard Chico's in my opinion. Maybe it is the strained and pained bladder talking. It has said its piece. You gotta be white or Asian to shop here to get good service. I was treated like the help. Was watched and then turned away for trying to return a gift that was given to me. I never shopped there before so I didn't know. I had an item from the outlet not knowing there was a difference I was turned away before opening my mouth. I had recently visited and purchased an outfit. I was not greeted. I was not helped with something that did not fit, I had to go get it myself. The clothing here is nice, but expensive. I feel that customer service is terrible and needs to improve. Just because I walked in wearing sweats does not call for poor customer service; I make good money. The only customers who were greeted by the staff or helped were Caucasian. I am half Caucasian and Filipino, so I guess because of my olive complexion, I was treated like crap. So my children went into this store this evening to look around and decided to take a picture in the mirror inside the store when suddenly they where approached by a worker who claimed to be the person in charge for the day she asked them if they came to buy something or just take pictures in the mirror and then asked what they where doing in the store when my daughter then answered that she was attracted by the mirror and they wanted to take a picture and she told them they weren't allowed so my kids left when I picked them up it bothered me and I called the store and I asked if they had a sign where it stated that they aren't allowed to take pictures and she answered no so I then asked why did she tell them they couldn't she got all nervous and she said I'm sorry if your kids where offended by this I said please make sure you make a sign stating that no one is allowed to take pictures in your mirror before telling anyone they can't do that I was really bothered by it I been to more expensive stores and they have never been treated that way read more

Came in to buy my aunt a gift card. First impression, very nice shoppe and very tidy. two customer service lady's. one (asian) very warm and helping a customer. The other a lady with blonde hair that saw me but didn't greet me. And, i was standing at the cash register. I turned to her and asked if i could purchase a gift card. The cashier rung it up cash by accident. She pushed something incorrectly ... as it was suppose to be credit. She couldn't cancel the transaction. Asked if i has the cash. I said i wanted to use my card a i accumulate rewards. She proceeding to ask for help but it was impossible. then she started calling customer service ... So, i didn't mind the error. However, when she begins to call customer service to correct her mistake... i began to get a bit irritated. I asked the second cashier (Marisa is the name of second cashier on receipt) if she could just ring me up a new gift card. I was not going to wait until "their" problem was resolved over the phone with their customer service. Marisa immediately took care of me. she also apologized .. which was very nice of her .. given she was not the one who committed error and the first cashier ever even acknowledged me or apologized( errors are ok.. it happens ... it's the first cashiers customer service skills i'm rating). read more

Aggressive salesgirl who with darker hair and megahorn voice volume obviously did not like us. I asked for size 2 1/2 and she shouted repeatedly, "You need a larger size? A size larger than 6? A larger size? So you need it laaarrger." It was just weird. I am like, OMG, a size 2 1/2, and she kept repeating the word larger and using 6, 10, 12, 14 size numbers very loudly. She chose to serve her own agenda of trying to humiliate us by ignoring what I was saying and rebranding the Chico's experience, disregarding their 0, 1, 2, 3 sizing. I told her she was not using Chico's sizing numbers. Then she stuffed our purchases into the smallest accessories-sized bag. Such hostility. read more

I want to compliment Chicos Claremont for providing a safe shopping experience in the middle of a pandemic. A shopper must either make an appointment or else wait outside until a shopkeeper allows you in. By this system, Chicos can control the number of shoppers in the store. The dressing room is cleaned after each use. Salespeople kept a safe distance from the shoppers. Also, Chicos is offering the shopper great value right now with great sale prices. Businesses like this, that use ingenuity to find a safe way to open, are the path forward to reopening in the midst of a pandemic. I felt safe shopping here and will definitely come back. read more

Actual rating -... I came into this store for the fist time this past weekend to find a gift, employee coincidentally enough had the need to "arrange " clothing on racks I'm every area I happened to be. I didn't realize what was going on initially but that quickly changed. There was 3 of us customers in the store, 1- Caucasian, 2. Asian & 3. Me. Hispanic. Only I was being watched, why? May you not pretend or try to deflect from what took place. Needles to say, I chose to not spend any of my money in this place, I chose to walk out and take my money elsewhere. As I exited your guard ( female employee) just so happened to be by door still watching my every move, smh. A thief I am not and to be treated as if one is a huge insult to me and all who are hardworking, earn every dollar and respect private property. I ordered a coat on line for store pick up in Claremont. Alma called to say it was ready. Very friendly and helpful. My daughter was in Claremont so I quickly made arrangements with Alma to have my daughter pick up the coat. Alma made it so easy to be able to receive my coat.
